Lovely staff but ended up with sepsis

Maternity

I had an emergency C-Section a few years ago as I think they left me too long and I ended up with sepsis and kidney failure. I stayed there for three to four nights. The staff were lovely, I can't fault them.

I had a planned C-Section there months ago. All went fine and I stayed in for 2 nights. Staff were lovely, really really nice.

They couldn't do anything

Before 20 weeks pregnant they send you to the QE and they say they can't do anything about it. They confirmed there was bleeding and said to come back tomorrow for a scan to see if baby was alive. I had a haematoma but I think they could have done more.

I was admitted to ward 1 with complications after 25 weeks, 30 weeks and 35 weeks. They were good every time and they cared for me very well.

I came for a blood tests as I have a C-Section planned for tomorrow. Everything has been fine but there could be issues with the booking system as when you get here your appointment the consultant has booked you in for is not always on the system. They told me I had to go to my own GP for sick notes.

Yeah, it's going really well so far. I've been here about half an hour. I'm happy. It's my second visit. Everything is on time.

It was okay

Ward 7 was okay. You get asked questions and they give you some answers and you come away thinking why couldn't they offer that service at the GP. It's awkward to get to of a morning.
