Can be very poor
October 1, 2025
Sometimes I forget my appointments but they don't text me a reminder. I was 10 minutes late for my last one due to traffic and they said they wouldn't see me. They surgery was empty. They can be very poor.
Don't see you anymore

Don't see patients since lockdown. If you have a broken limb they ask you to take a photo and send it to them. I find it difficult to see a doctor but they're good if you get to see them. If you don't have a mobile or the internet it's hard to access them.
Do same day appointment

They do same day mostly for appointments but it's packed often. they're good with the kid too.
Good but diffcult to see them

Difficult to get appointments or they ask you to send a photo online. When you do get to see them they're good.
I can get appointments

Pretty good, I can get appointments and see whoever is available on the day. That works for me.
Busy but the staff are really good.

It's okay, it's busy and can be difficult to get appointments but the GP and nurse are great. The receptionists are good too.
They don't help

They just give out medication instead of doing anything to actually help.
Frustrating

This GP surgery is generally good, receptionist and admin staff are lovely.
However after filling in a form online I was asked to make an appointment. I had highlighted that worsening mental health issues were my biggest concern and yet during my appointment that was practically ignored. Basically I was not sure why I was told to make an appointment as they were unable to help. I could wait months for an NHS referral or go private I was told. First time ever I've been told to consider going private but it shows the state the NHS is in.

Brilliant, helpful and understanding.

Good GP. I'm not knocking them they have been brilliant with me. The only thing is, you ring up and they only give single appointments to discuss one thing at a time. So to discuss more than one thing I have to book double or triple appointments. The surgery is clean, staff are understanding, especially the receptionists who are courteous and polite. They've started to digitise a lot of the service which doesn't work well for me or people like me and the GP's or receptionists need to be signposting people to support services and different services.
Accessible

I went back to the GP and they said there was swelling in my ankle and suggested I buy an exercise band and exercises to follow. They're accessible but sometimes need more help.
