"Can get appointments the same day"
Good and helpful. They're quick to respond and I can get appointments the same day.
Good and helpful. They're quick to respond and I can get appointments the same day.
They're okay for us. They're okay for appointments. They're helpful. Doctors are very good and they listen and help.
Good practice and easy to get appointments. The GPs listen and refer when needed.
I have been a patient at this surgery for 15 years and they used to be fantastic. Since covid it is difficult to get an appointment. You have to get an appointment online during a very short window in the morning. They may get back to you on the same day but it can take up to three working days. Frankly the service they provide is no longer satisfactory not like it was in the past. The staff are friendly and helpful and the practice nurses are great and really listen.
Very bad, they never have appointments and don't pick up the phone. They tell you to go on the app and then there is still a wait. Then there are no appointments. They're not very good at all.
My experience is generally good, it's easy to book appointments. I would rate them as average.
They're very helpful. You can book online or by phone. When you go in for your appointment, they listen to you and help.
Used check in screens which worked perfectly no need for the hassle of irate receptionists. Was called one minute early and the young lady was polite and professional.
Was seen really quick. The healthcare assistant was really good.
Very easy to use and instructions are easy to understand, but I do think older people would find it harder to use and understand as they are more likely to not have smart phones or a computer so I don’t know how they would get on.
Gave me antibiotics and support tights
My experience was good, I felt the doctor really listened to me and how I’d be feeling, I felt he made a note of it all and I got to ask everything I needed.
Very good
Receptionists both really helpful and Dr was professional and helpful
Following me submitting a form I received a call and an appointment
Excellent experience,
The nurse practitioner was friendly. Professional and courteous. No complaints from me at all.
Was seen straight away had xray and results
All in a reasonable time
Appointment was on time. Successful consultation, I felt listened to, effective end result. Practitioner was professional but had a friendly manner.
Doctor took his time and listened
Excellent
Not yet received prescription
Dear Sir/Madam, I am not sure what the issue is with the prescription. Please contact the surgery and we will be able to sort out the issue. Best Regards Suneel Practice Manager Yardley Green Medical Centre
Very pleasant chap, who listened to me and prescribed antibiotics and arranged for me to have further treatment.
Dr I saw is a fantastic Dr
He listened to me and responded to me in very good manner with times not flock me off
Was sent a sick note to my phone the following day, after a call from doctor
Absolutely disgusting service provided by one doctor. Took my son to get checked, did not examine the area or move from his seat. We complained to receptionist, they blatantly lied saying they felt the area, had the problem with this doctor before.
Experience was positive, Dr listened, matter was resolved, with support of a Dr.
Good
The way doc treat my son. Coz my son going better now
The physician associate was brilliant very professional and helpful
Two weeks ago booked this appointment
The booking system is online based. I do like this, but I have to complete a long form which I can manage but it is difficult as I am visually impaired. There is no option to book appointments over the phone. It is not very accessible. It used to be better.
Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your feedback. If you are having difficulties in completing the form, please ask a member of staff to assist. They will be able to complete the form on your behalf. Best Regards Suneel Practice Manager Yardley Green Medical Centre
This is a good surgery. I have no problems generally and can get appointments when needed.
Someone was supposed to phone me to discuss blood results. My phone rang I answered it and it cut off. Phoned them straight back and waited in queue to be told doctor was still in my files and he would probably phone me back, that didn't happen
Very friendly & accommodating
The doctor was very relaxed and explained everything quite well, creating a calming atmosphere for an experience that could be quite stressful otherwise. Able to answer questions with trustworthy confidence.
Coming here was a very good experience overall. Getting the appointment was okay and the doctor was really helpful.
5 stars
My doctor has always been absolutely incredible at her job. I've been seeing her since I was a teenager & she is polite, understanding & makes you feel completely comfortable and safe in her care. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Also her dress sense blows my mind! She looks fantastic every day & I love how she stands out and expresses herself. Thank you for always taking great care of me!
Today I saw a lovely doctor, she is such a delightful and friendly lady, she was so helpful and very knowledgeable to the procedure I had done which put a immense amount of relief off myself. I would honestly recommend this lovely doctor to anyone. It was a pure pleasure in meeting her. I wish you all the best in life and God bless you.
Many thanks
I was anxious about bowel cancer the doctor listened he couldn't rule it out but it wasn't the most obvious conclusion so made me feel reassured
It's good for the appointments. I call them and get an appointment. I see a different doctor.
Good communication, good at listening and with giving appointments.
They came out quickly for a chest infection. They did a home visit and they sorted a prescription. It was very good.
The service is good. I regularly get medicines and they make sure she is well. They make vaccination appointments for my mom who is clinically vulnerable. The service works well.
Satisfied with the service but the online form is a challenge.
The don't pick up the phone. Getting appointments is close to impossible. They say go online when you call them and then you do and it says there aren't any appointments left.
Good care and treatment.
I called them as soon as it opened and they were all full. Once you do get one there isn't enough time allocated as you're in and out.
They're absolutely dead. They just don't care. What are they there for is you can't get an appointment or get through to them.
It's okay to get appointments and they listen. It was a great experience when I went for my blood test.
If I need an appointment I get in. I am always satisfied with the GP.
They're good but you can't always see the doctor face to face, it's usually a phone job. It's at the discretion of the GP. There's no point ranting and raving about it. It's all the same now.
Easy to get appointments and they are very clean.
Since covid the service has changed. It's a good service. I can get appointments. I see different doctors.
It's always a challenge to get an appointment. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful.
Excellent care and support provided during and after covid. Very helpful and well informed GPs.
The doctor is brilliant and the staff are good. It's hard to get appointments for adults but easy for the kids.
The main issue is the lack of appointments. You have to chase up your test results and they never inform you of what the outcome is.
Very good. I can get appointments for myself and little one.
It wasn't too bad to get an appointment. They could improve a lot. I don't see the same doctor. They could improve on that. I had a septic foot and went to see the doctor. It was okay they just don't know me.
They're good. I get seen quickly to get appointments. The doctors and staff are polite and helpful. Good.
I had a 2 week wait to sign up with this service. It is my preferred GP but that is a long time to wait just to sign up.
I was there for years. They never reviewed my medication and was waiting for a referral. I was that ill I ended up in hospital because they wouldn't see me. I changed my GP.
I am having problems with my repeat prescription. Most of the times items are missing and then takes me ages to chase up it up.
I have been with them for over 20 years. The GPs and nurses are very good and caring.
I find it difficult to get a face to face appointment. They are not friendly.
They're okay, hard to get an appointment. I had a problem with my shoulders and back so I just went to the hospital instead.
Doctors and nurses are good, but the reception are not and neither is getting appointments.
Absolutely terrible. The didn't book me in when they had told me previously they had made me an appointment. I got there, queued, all whilst going through a miscarriage and then tell me they hadn't got me booked in. I had to go to A&E instead.
Very good, whenever I call then they tell me to come straight away. Never had any complaints at all.
Absolutely diabolical. I am a transplant patient with chronic rejection of the lungs. I have tried to get an appointment with my doctor for a while. Every time I phone, appointments have all gone - told to phone in the morning. When you do, you are like number 15 or 20 in a cue. By the time they answer (after over 1 hour waiting) All appointments are gone for that day. Then told to phone back the next day, and this goes on and on. I have to have a prostate exam and a UTI test done, my transplant Team told me to book an appointment with doctors, as my urine output has changed the way I go has changed, a lot of concern/worry to me and now can't get to see a doctor. They want people to come forward for prostate exams, then you can't get in to have them! This is not the first time this has happened at this surgery, it is just the one that put the icing on the cake! 2 out of 5 star surgery - very very disappointed
Very helpful GP. Always ready to help and give great advice every time.
They are better than where I was previously. They aren't too bad. It's not very often I get appointments but that is only because I don't need them often.
I have been a patient here for 10 years. To book appointments you need to ring at 8:30am and wait over 30 to 40 minutes in the phone queue. I am lucky this time as I had a same day appointment. I know some of my friends have been waiting more than a few weeks. There is always different doctors. There are a lot of junior doctors there and they lack the knowledge. If I ask them a question they don't know the answer. They simply say they don't know and they don't try to find out the answer for me. If I could have the same doctor I would be happy.
The GP and practice nurses are excellent and provided good treatment and information.
Excellent. I can get appointments. I called them in June to arrange covid vaccines and I told them I had another issue with my prostate. They said they would call me back. They rang me back at 1pm that same day and said they would see me the next day.
It's hard to get appointments and hard to get through on the phones. They will not answer and then you'll be 30th in the queue. I feel that it's so hard to make an appointment. The doctors can be helpful but it's just getting through to them to be able to see them that's the problem.
They sent me for blood tests at the hospital but I am yet to hear the results. There is a long wait on the phones but I don't tend to use them that often. They prescribed me co-codamol once that gave me heart palpitations so did not use it.
The GP is not very good. I haven't been getting appointments and I am thinking of changing doctors.
I changed my GP to Yardley green from another because I am not happy about them at all. My new GP is very good. I got my appointment at the right time. They give very good communication. they call me and remind me with texts, letters and everything.
The reports from the GP are online. I have a lot of issues with this as I can't book appointments online but i can message them. I feel like the service is a bit hidden. It seems impossible to see a GP and when i asked to see a female GP they referred me onto a junior doctor. It is almost impossible to speak to a regular GP. I had the run around trying to find my eye ointment. It seems you have to make a fuss or be in some sort of crisis.
My daughter has been referred on to physiotherapy and they have given her an appointment in Leicester and nothing more local. I asked them to re-book it closer to us b it they gave a different date at the same place. The GP is very good and accessible but doesn't understand why we are being sent so far.
I last went there when I had an ongoing headache and they sorted out some medication for my acne. They're good you know.
I nearly died there. I told them I felt faint. I passed out and they tried to put me in the room to hide it from the other patients. My husband told them to call an ambulance.
They are okay. Good doctor and I have been happy there.
Can’t always get an appointment, I have to call early in the morning but rarely get a same day appointment. Doctors and reception staff are good but just getting an appointment is a challenge.
They're hard to get hold of. You call and they only talk to you over the phone after the receptionist decides if you can or need to see a GP. Then they call you and say you need to come in if there are appointments available. It's so hard and you wait a long time on the phone. You call when they say to in the morning or afternoon, and then there are no appointments.
They're okay. They changed a fair bit over covid, it was more electronic and over the phone consultations. It's not great when it's a physical problem and you want to show them something. It's always over the phone appointments now, could do with seeing them face to face or even being offered the option.
Can’t get appointments, all gone by 8am. Supposed to call back in 3 days but it took them 7 days. I am not happy with the service.
Okay, you ring up and take a gamble to get an appointment, it's best to ring earlier. Always leave my number and they'll call if they have any cancellations.
They are good, today we have an appointment at the doctors and its good to get appointments. We don't wait a long time.
Accessing them is good but it does take a long time on the phones. Sometimes me, my mom and dad take turns to call them so at least one of will get through to get an appointment. I am currently waiting for a letter from the GP as I am waiting to be referred to a gender clinic as the one I currently use is being closed down. It has been a 2 year process and they are meant to be referring me to the one in Nottingham but I am waiting to hear from them.
Before it used to be very good, special doctor helped me. It's changed since covid. Can't see her face to face. I now have a new doctor and he doesn't understand me. Went to a diabetic clinic yesterday. Gp don't want to help with exercise. Want to be able to see my own doctor and face to face.
Nightmare trying to ring, ages and ages to get in the queue. Ages to get an appointments, no appointments when they answer, so I ring the next day. It's a military operation to get an appointment.
Could never ever get an appointment. The receptionists are like rottweilers, if you can get past them - great. I say it's personal and that I want to talk to a doctor. The doctors were brilliant.
I had a fall about 3 months ago. I fell on the clothes horse and bruised my back badly. Got to see the doctor as I had an appointment with another health issue. GP told me it would take 6 weeks for the bruising to come out and I would feel better. However, had to call the GP when in pain and couldn't get through at all. Had to join the phone queue again.
I went in September with a swelling on my foot. Covid boosters were available to us. Was told the next day to book a prostate cancer check. Both myself and wife were both contacted regarding individual health issues. Very happy with the service as far as I'm concerned.
I don't see the GP that often, but they call when the children need injections or need an appointment, I can get one whenever I need it.
Can’t get an appointment and takes a long to get them on phone.
I started to ring from 08.30 Monday morning, until 9am the recording said all lines are busy,at 9am I was number 12 in a queue. The call was answered at 9.20 and was told all appointments were taken and to try again tomorrow. I tried again on Tuesday but with the same result. Not sure what to do next.
They were of great help during Covid-19. Loads of information and support provided.
If you are calling for a GP, You should be talking to a GP only. I should not be telling reception staff why I want to see a GP – Its confidential. Receptionist are not medically trained so they shouldn’t be making a decision about my health.
Before Covid you use to have a dedicated GP, but not anymore. You have to talk to a new GP all the time and even for that you have to wait for 10 days.
They need more staff that’s for sure. You can’t see your GP that’s why A&E’s are full of patients. If GP’s are working properly there will be lot less load on A&E’s.
Since Covid it’s very difficult to talk to them. Whenever you call them you are 40th in the queue. All the appointments are gone in first half an hour.
Always understanding and helpful.
I seen Dr about bowel problems, within 2 weeks he had arranged for me to have several tests that resulted in cancer surgery. He then looked after me during the recovery period. Due to his quick response I an now cured of bowel cancer.
Service deteriorated
Awful, can't get through on the phone, if you're lucky enough to, never any appointments and some rude staff.
Awful. Can’t ever get through on the phone, can’t go in, can’t get an appointment. Doctors have all changed- partially privatised??
Not listen to patient and also controlling a patient and not pick up phone and not helping a person
