"Waited over 7 hours for ambulance to arrive"
I waited over 7 hours for an ambulance to arrive following a fall. The waiting time was terrible but he care I received from the lovely paramedics was amazing. They had to look after me at the hospital too because A&E was too full.

Came out quickly whilst I was still on the phone to the operator. They came checked me and took me straight to A&E.
"Took 45 minutes to arrive"
I collapsed and it took 45 minutes before the paramedic help reached me in the city centre.
"Unacceptable waiting times"
Waited ages for an ambulance. It was unacceptable.
"They were fantastic actually"
Mom was brought in by ambulance. Quick to turn up. Communicated really well. They were fantastic actually.
"Checked baby over"
They came out and checked baby after being born at home. Took 20 minutes to come. They took them to Midland Met after.

They came straight away. He was having a stroke and they took him straight to A&E.

Excellent and so helpful. No messing around.

They came out pretty much straight away because I was having chest pains. They came and did tests and took me straight to A&E. They were sound and took good care of me.

I have had to use the emergency ambulance service a number of times in the past 12 months. The service has been excellent. An ambulance had to be called for me last week following a fall. The ambulance arrived within 15 minutes and the paramedics were wonderful and took very good care of me, treating me and transporting me to the hospital.

My experience of West Midlands Ambulance Service was not good. The ambulance was called and it took over an hour to arrive by which time the person had already passed away.

They turned up within 2 minutes and did checks and took her straight to A&E. They were so good and acted quickly.

I called the ambulance service and they told me to go to A&E, they didn't send an ambulance and told me to take myself to A&E.

I was left on the back of an ambulance for 5 hours. They said I was at risk and they said their initial ECG on the ambulance showed a blockage.
"Absolutely brilliant"
I came in by ambulance and they arrived within 5 minutes. Absolutely brilliant. They gave me something to get me breathing and took me straight to hospital.

An ambulance was called for me when I had a heart attack. They arrived within 30 minutes and the care from the two paramedics was excellent.

An ambulance was called for my Grandma who had a heart attack. The ambulance arrived very quickly, the paramedics took excellent care of her and transported her to the hospital very quickly too. Their quick action and treatment saved her life.
"A long time to arrive for heart attack"
My dad had a heart attack, he collapsed and lost consciousness. We waited a long time for the ambulance to arrive. It was a very scary experience seeing my dad that way and having to wait so long for the ambulance to arrive. It was terrifying. The paramedics were excellent when they arrived.

They were very good. The paramedics were very thorough upon arrival.

The paramedics were very patient and spent a long time with me. They convinced me to go to the hospital and took me to Heartlands A&E. I did find it quite stressful that police attended with them and that really wasn't necessary.

I have had to call an ambulance a number of times and they have usually been brilliant.

Ambulance arrived within 29 minutes of me calling. On arrival at hospital it took more than 3 hours for me to be unloaded from the ambulance and taken inside the building.

The ambulance came out as I'm asthmatic and had panic attacks and anxiety. The staff were really helpful and calming. They decided I should go to hospital. They were calm with me too over the phone when I called. All the staff were brilliant.

They told us how to stem the bleed until we got to the hospital. They gave good advice and information.
"Good and acted fast"
They decided to take me to Heartlands after my stroke. They were good from what I can remember and acted fast.

Came quickly within 10 minutes and took us to the hospital.
"They couldn't take me to hospital"
I called as I was losing blood at 18 weeks pregnant. They asked how much and when I told them they said they wouldn't be able to do anything and couldn't get an ambulance out to me so I had to make my own way there.
"Took a while to arrive"
It took about 30-40 minutes to come out to me which is a bit long I think. They checked me at home and took me to hospital. I had to wait in the ambulance as there were no beds.
"The service was excellent"
I called an ambulance for my daughter as she was having an asthma attack. The service was excellent. Quick response time, quick medication and quick diagnosis.
"Gave her oxygen"
Paramedics came out for breathing issues as she has COPD. She packed up smoking and she is worse off. They weren't as good as the last paramedics that came out for the same issue. They gave her oxygen and helped her out.
"4 hours wait"
I broke my arm after just getting over a stroke and I stayed the night on the floor as I didn't have an alarm to call for help. The carer found me and called for an ambulance. It then took 4 hours to arrive.
"17 minutes to arrive"
They took 17 minutes to arrive. They took him straight to hospital after an absence seizure.
"Calm, patient and looked after me"
I was having heart problems and hard spots all over my body. They came out and took me to Good Hope. They were very professional and calm and patient. They looked after me.

They came out really quickly. Checked me over, did an ECG and said what it was and how to treat it going forward.

I had a banging headache and called 999. They came within 15 minutes as they thought it may be a stroke. Did some tests and told me I would need to go to hospital.

111 sent an ambulance and they took ages to arrive. We were going to get a taxi but we saw it coming. I wanted to go to a different hospital but they said they wouldn't deal with this sort of thing there so they took me to Sandwell.
"Told us to get an Uber"
I called 999 and they said they wouldn't be able to get an ambulance for 5 to 6 hours so make your way in an Uber.
"Came out quickly"
They came out quickly because I have heart problems. They called an ambulance after a 111 paramedic called me back and said I needed to go to hospital.

I had a mini stroke and my wife called the ambulance. They reached my house within 20 minutes and I was in hospital in less than 50 minutes.

They arrived really quickly and did some observations and decided to take me to A&E. They talked me through everything.

Paramedics took me to the QE after I collapsed. The came out quickly and acted well. They spoke to me like a human. They were great.

They were brilliant apart from taking us to Heartlands. I said I didn't want to go there but they had to take me where there was space. The staff were great.

They came straight away and took me to Good Hope. Then I had to wait 4 hours on the ambulance before being seen. The staff really looked after me.

My mother had a brain haemorrhage. I called an ambulance and they arrived within 15 minutes. They were helpful and supportive.

It took an hour to arrive. They were good people.

Called and explained the situation that my partner had recently had a lung operation and felt he couldn't breathe and was having pains in his heart. They sent an ambulance within 15 minutes. The staff were great and kept him calm. They thought it best to take him to hospital.

Really professional. They checked him and said they needed to take him straight in. They looked after him.

Very quick and efficient. They came out quickly.
"A long wait"
It was a long time waiting for them to come to us when my husband was having chest pain. It took 2-3 hours. We said we couldn't wait that long and we just went ourselves.

I sat in the ambulance with my husband outside A&E for 6 hours when he was unwell. The wait was not nice at all, but the paramedics were lovely.

My son's sodium levels were dangerously high so they blue lighted him to Worcester hospital. They came out quickly, we ended up being transferred to the Children's hospital.
"Thankful for their help"
Put it this way, if it wasn't for the paramedics, I wouldn't be here. Sugars went high and they rushed me to hospital. Excellent and so thankful for their help.
"Amazing staff when they arrived"
The paramedics were going to take my daughter to Midland Met when she has a head injury but we didn't want that. The bleeding had stopped so we decided to take her ourselves to Good Hope. The staff were amazing though.

The ambulance came out within 10 to 15 minutes when I called them. Very good and took us straight to A&E.

They came out within 10 minutes, quite surprised how quickly they arrived. They did checks and took him to A&E.

I called 999 as my husband had a fall and I couldn't get him off the floor. They were very calm and helpful. They even cheer you up. They were so good to both of us.

Paramedics are angels and incredibly gifted staff.

The ambulance came quickly when I was having a heart attack 7 weeks ago. They did an ECG and said they thought it was a heart attack. They took me straight to A&E.

They were so lovely and said the first crew that came out should not have been so dismissive and should have taken me to A&E immediately.
"Blue lighted to A&E"
111 told me to call 999 as I was having breathing difficulties. They came within 10 minutes and checked me over. They said my heart rate was perfect and told me I would just need to go back to the GP. They called the GP and all of a sudden they had an appointment. In the end I ended up being blue lighted to A&E at Midland Met hospital.
"They took him straight to A&E"
We called when my husband was ill. He has diabetes and had high blood pressure. They came within 10 to 15 minutes. They took him straight to hospital and helped him.
"Provided an interpreter"
When I called they would give me an Urdu interpreter. They were very good and helpful.
"Really nice"
Really nice ambulance staff. They did their checks at the scene of the accident but forgot to sign me in when we got to A&E or the system wasn't working, not sure.
"Kept my husband calm"
The paramedics got him up and helped him to the ambulance. They kept him calm as he was confused and they tried to explain to him as best they could.

"Poor service delivery 2 years ago"
My husband collapsed at home on boxing day 2 years ago. He had lung cancer and pneumonia. When I called the ambulance they said it would be 4 hours so it would be better to take him in a taxi so my son drove us to the A&E. Poor service delivery

"They were good"
The ambulance came out and they were able to tell the family what to do when I had a fall in my home. They were good.

The GP called them and they came out really quickly as I was not very well. They told me they were going to take me to the QE. We did have a little wait but they took care of me in the ambulance.

"Over an hour to wait"
I made a mistake speaking to the ambulance on the phone as they knew I was conscious. If they thought I wasn't they would come out quick. Instead they said it would be over an hour and could I get a taxi there. My wife took me in the end.

"Told to wait 4 to 5 hours"
I called for an ambulance as I was having a heart attack and they ask all these questions from a script. Even after telling them I was having a heart attack they said the ambulance would be 4 to 5 hours. I was so weak I couldn't even hang up the phone so it ended up going back through to them again and the same lady then said she would send a paramedic on a bike but I couldn't wait. My neighbour found me and took me to A&E.

"Kept me calm"
I can't fault anybody. They've treated me really well. They took us from Walsall to the Women's. The paramedics were really caring and comforting. They kept me calm.

"Really nice staff"
The arrived in 2 minutes when I called and told them my son has fallen from a first floor window. They told me it would be 10 minutes but came sooner. They were really nice and the staff kept me and him both calm.

"Came out within 25 minutes"
Came within 25 minutes and they checked me over at home. They suggested to take paracetamol and visit the GP if the pain didn't get any better.

"Very good"
The paramedics came out and looked at my throat and said it was quinsy and was covering the whole of my throat. I had to go to hospital for treatment. They were very good, very thorough and they sorted me out.
"Bless the staff"
I waited 5 hours on the floor for an ambulance to come. I didn't have my phone but I had my emergency lanyard around my neck that was able to call emergency services. When they finally got to me they took me to the hospital but then we had to wait for a further 5 hours on the ambulance. Bless the staff though, they were so good and one gave me their phone to watch whilst I was waiting.

Twice in October my partner had to be taken to hospital due to being very poorly both times. The ambulance crews were very good took time and very patient with my partner the crew did all check and made sure he was comfortable on way to hospitals even made sure I was good. Thank you.

My 12 year old daughter was run over a few months ago and one ambulance came but another had to come out because of the nature of the break. The paramedics had a good sense of humour, good attitude and kept everything calm. The second ambulance brought more medication and took her straight to A&E. Thank you for the care and support.

Perfect, really good. They called me to say that my daughter had been in an accident and I got there and they were really great. They did everything they needed to at the scene. They gave her medication and kept her stable, then they blue lighted her to the Children's.

My friend called for an ambulance. They came every so quickly. Three nice, gorgeous lads came and took me to the hospital. Excellent care was given and they were ever so lovely. Really took care of me.

They came in less than 5 minutes. They assessed my mom for hospital. They let me go with her to explain what was going on. The paramedics were good, helpful and respectful.

They are very quick in responding to calls for help. They reached me within 20 minutes to pick me up.

Really good but I phoned at 3PM and they came at 3AM in the morning. They brought me straight to hospital as they couldn't take me anywhere closer to home at the ambulance discretion.
"They booked me at crisis but needed A&E"
An ambulance took me to majors and booked me in crisis after I had a mental health episode but also had hurt my head. I had a bad head injury and they then decided I should be taken to A&E so they took me there.
"They kept my husband calm."
The ambulance came within 20 minutes. They were calm and kept my husband calm. They did an ECG in the ambulance and said he needed to go into the hospital and took him straight away. I think it was good they kept him calm and acted on it as he could have had a heart attack and would have been much worse.

An ambulance was sent within 10 mins after waiting for an NHS 111 response.

They were so nice. They were in my house for 2 hours after 111 called them. I didn't need them. They tried to convince me to go to hospital but I didn't.

I called for an ambulance after a fall and couldn't move. They said it would take a while to come out to me. A passing police car got them to bring a van and took me instead.

My dad had a fall and so called 999. I was told it would be a 9 hour wait but someone was already on the road so they went through to control and said they could see dad. They said he needed to be taken to Heartlands and to pack an overnight bag for him and meet him there.

They came quickly after a fall, they helped me. They took me to hospital and stayed with me until the doctors came and sorted me. Very good people paramedics are.

They came quickly. I had a joke and laugh with them then they took me to Good Hope. It didn't take long. Staff worked hard.

I called an ambulance when I was having a stroke. They took nearly 2 hours to come out to me and I had to call them several times. They came out and re-assessed me and said I was okay. Then a few hours later I was still having symptoms and then decided to take me to hospital. They didn't want to listen to me. I had a stroke.

He had collapsed and was vomiting. We had just come back from holiday. They thought he had a deadly bug. They took him to hospital and put him in a side room because they thought he was highly infectious.

I called an ambulance that came really quickly. They wheeled me in and plonked me in front of a desk and left me there. Felt like a prisoner.

We called for an ambulance when my son stopped breathing and they came within 3 minutes. They were going to take him to Heartlands but I said no and so they took him to the Children's. They listened to me and were very good.

They were so good and kind and they got me some biscuits. They really looked after me. I didn't wait long for them. They gave me some tablets and a drink and took me to hospital.

The ambulance came when I was ill. They arrived quickly and took me to hospital. I could not breathe.

I called an ambulance for my sister. They took a while to come. She was in severe pain. We kept calling back and they didn't come quicker. They eventually turned up and took her to Heartlands hospital. The staff are usually good it just takes a long time and they cannot help her.

They wanted me to go to hospital as I wasn't very well but they gave me an injection and that made me feel better. They came out really quickly.

My wife was blue lighted to hospital as she had pneumonia and has other health conditions. They came really quickly and took her straight to Heartlands.

They took my wife to hospital. I rang them initially and they said it was not urgent. They asked a lot of questions and then sent someone quickly. They came within 30 minutes. They're brilliant.

My son got injured at a bus stop so I called an ambulance as it would not stop bleeding. They asked lots of questions for 1 hour before even sending an ambulance. He was bleeding so badly. Why do they ask all of these questions. They should send help quicker.

My husband was taken to A&E via ambulance. He was made to wait two hours for it to come out and then a further two hours stuck on the back of the ambulance. The staff kept up his morale but he was in pain and he needed to be seen.

I rang for an ambulance in November last year due to being in uncontrollable pain. I had a severe infection in my gallbladder requiring emergency surgery. When I rang 999 I was told that I didn't qualify for an ambulance and would have to get a taxi. I was vomiting constantly with the in and couldn't walk. My elderly dad took me in the end and my mum had to get me a wheelchair when we got to the hospital.

I was asked questions about sepsis and it turned out I had sepsis. They came quickly to my work place, really quickly and took me to the hospital.

I was having pain when I was at work. I couldn't feel my arms so they called me an ambulance. They came quite quickly as they thought I was having a stroke and they took me to hospital.
"Wait for ambulance, didn't take long to get to hospital."
They ended up taking me to the QE as I had badly burned my foot. They took me to hospital as my foot had gone purple. They didn't take long to get me to the hospital but waited some time for them to get to me.

I was blue lighted with heart problems to Sandwell Hospital. I didn't feel well and was having pains in my heart, so I called 999. They came within minutes and took me to hospital. They were brilliant from what I can remember.

It takes ages for them to come out and at times we've had to cancel it because they haven't come out or we find our own way there because it's too long of a wait.
"Happy with the quality of care provided."
I have had to call for an ambulance a few times recently due to seizures. They have always arrived quickly and I have been very happy with the quality of care provided.

They were good. Lovely in fact. They were so kind and kept me laughing when hey took me to hospital. They came fast as far as I remember. I told them I didn't want to be a bother.

The ambulance service is very good. They helped me when I had my stroke. They acted very fast my family said.
"Took 7 hours to come out"
I called an ambulance for someone having a heart attack in the street. It was 7 hours and he died before they came.
"They took ages to come out."
They're no good. My friend passed away 2 years ago. They took ages to come out and he died.
"Really good"
They came quickly and took my observations and told me I needed to go to hospital so they took me. They were really good and helpful.
"They were very good."
I was having chest pains and they came within 1.5 hours to check me over. They were very good and said I was having muscle pains but helped me so it was good.
"They were good and listened."
Took me to hospital when I was having chest pains. They were good with me. They listened to me and kept me as calm as possible.
"Paramedics are fantastic."
Fantastic staff and paramedics, it is just such a long wait in A&E.
"Sorted emergency referral"
They sorted an emergency referral for dad. Safeguarding team came straight out to him and got him referred onto social services as he kept wondering due to his vascular dementia. They were very helpful and got him the help he needed.
"Service is stretched. 27 hours waiting."
Ambulance turned up 27 hours later after we had been in A&E. I get the service is stretched but if I hadn't gone to mom she could have been left that long.
"Came quickly. Good communication."
The ambulance came out quite quickly. Good at communicating about what's going on and I got to hospital quickly. Even though I'd ask to bring my son to the children's hospital they would usually bring us to City hospital as they know his care.
"Came quickly and staff helped me."
Came quickly and brought me in. Don't remember much but staff helped me at the end of the day and brought me here.
"Excellent"
Wrong medicines were given, had a reaction and they come out quickly and were excellent. He didn’t need to go to hospital, didn’t consider it an emergency.
"Took 15 minutes to come"
Took 15 minutes to come and take me to the Women’s hospital. Paramedic tried to contact triage and only got through just as we got to the hospital. They were shocked at how long it took. They were good and reassured me as much as they could.
"They sorted him"
Called in on 111, during covid, he was seizing and they arranged for them to come out. They come out quickly and by the time they came he was seizing badly. They sorted him and got him to hospital quickly.
"They were OK"
They were OK, came quickly to pick us and leave us at A&E.
"Built up a relationship with my daughter"
Chased them 2 hours after calling and said they had lost details of original call, police had no one to send out to us. It took them 6 hours to come out. The paramedics were amazing and built up a relationship with my daughter. The paramedics felt they had a duty of care and couldn't leave my daughter at home. Worcestershire hospital said they wouldn't take her and A&E wouldn't take her on the children's ward.
"They were wondeful."
The ambulance technician recommended a home visit from a GP and they never did it. An ambulance came out and they felt she didn't need a visit to the hospital. They were called out again and she ended up going to the hospital. They were wonderful. They told me they'd wait for me at the hospital with mom.
"Kept us well informed"
They took her to hospital. They came quickly and were good with her, they were brilliant. Kept us well informed.
"4 hour wait for ambulance"
My son has asthma but since covid, it's gotten worse. NHS 111 told me to ring for an ambulance as I explained his symptoms and told them he was asthmatic. When I got through to them, they told me it would be a 4 hour wait for an ambulance.
"Quick response"
Quick response by the service, just waited 45 minutes.
"Paramedic spoke to me horribly"
Last year my baby was struggling to breathe so I called 999. They came out and the paramedic was speaking to me so horribly. She was saying 'well that's what babies do' but in a horrible way. I ended up asking her to leave my house an took her to the hospital myself in a taxi.
"Checked mom over, didn't take too long"
NHS 111 sent them to check my mom over. They didn't take them too long but because of her heart symptoms, they decided to take her to the Queen Elizabeth hospital. We waited a while to be transferred but they were good.
"Came quickly"
The ambulance came and took me to the hospital when I was in labour with my son. Nice staff, they came quickly.
"Took a while to come - polite staff"
They took a while to come out when I had a fall the other day. Staff were polite but couldn't give a definitive answer for when they would come. Felt a bit helpless.
"They did not advise just passed me on"
I called them and told the I was experiencing mental health issues and hallucinations, they told me to call my mental health team. They were not helpful, they did not advise, they just passed me on.
"Long wait, good staff"
I waited aged ages at the hospital, even with chest pains. There for an hour and a half before I went in to be assessed. Was like that because of covid. Staff were good and very helpful.
"Came quickly"
Collapsed outside of the pound shop and they came quickly and they took me to the hospital and was seen really quickly. They were so helpful, said it was because of the cancer and diabetes.
"They ran tests"
NHS 111 called out a team of 3 paramedics. They came, ran tests but nothing came from it even after explaining to them it was not needed, I just needed a prescription.
"Came quickly and checked mom over"
NHS 111 transferred me over to them and they took roughly 5 minutes to come out for my mom. they checked her over and she didn't end up having to go to hospital in the end.
"Took a long time to come but helpful"
My mom had a stroke. It took a while for them to come but they were very helpful. They took mom to Sandwell Hospital and she was there for 3 weeks.
"Paramedics were excellent"
Exceptional care was received in Feb 2022 from the paramedics. They were extremely caring, compassionate, they listened to my mum, and us as a family. They spent a lot of time assessing Mum's needs, and liaising with the Opal team at the QEH. We are extremely grateful that they gave Mum the pain relief that she needed.
"Not a great experience"
There's been two incidences where I've had chest pains. I waited 2 hours and they didn't come to get me. Because I am pregnant and they couldn't tell me how long the wait would be I took myself. The second time I contacted them, they told me go to the hospital myself. Not a great experience.
"Kept calm and talked to me"
After my accident I was taken to City Hospital in the ambulance. The staff were nice, very good and didn't have very far to come. But they kept me calm and talked to me.

Staff were brilliant. They came at really fast too. Was worried about leaving my dog but they helped me call someone to get him. Didn’t take long to get to hospital and they talked to me. I had to wait a little while, once at hospital but it was fine.

They've been great when I've used them, but they won't always come out and get me which I get.

They came straight away and took me to Good Hope when I had hurt my leg on the bus. The staff was very good. They helped me with my pain. Gave me morphine which upset my stomach. They told me they could take me to Sandwell or good hope, so went there. They had all my particulars there so was worth going there.
"Staff were ever so good"
The ambulance ladies were ever so good. They packed everything for me. They bought me to Heartlands and it didn't take long for them to come out to me, I think it was 10 minutes. They were so good, no problems at all.

They were alright. I was stuck on the ambulance for 4 hours but they bought me a cup of tea. They were great though.

I was having chest pains so they took me to hospital. They were good, kind and let me know what was happening.
"A bit of a delay"
Ambulance. A bit of a delay but when they came out they were a bit hesitant to take my husband and said he wasn’t as unwell as they thought. He ended up being transferred to a hospital in Leicester in a coma from Covid.
"Very helpful"
My son drank a slush and was very very sick. I ended up calling the ambulance who bought him to the hospital. They were very good and very helpful. There are so many people taking care of him.
"Friendly staff, good service"
They took me to hospital when I had covid, I was really poorly. They ended up taking me in they were really friendly and good.
"Made my girlfriend feel comfortable"
My girlfriend was bought in by ambulance. It was scary but they made her feel comfortable I think, and me too.
"Treated my wife with respect"
They bought my wife in, they couldn't respond within 18 minutes to a heart attack. There were long waits outside the hospital. There's so so much they can do. They tried their best and treated my wife with respect.
"Check me all over"
Ambulance took 20 minutes, I was with it. They spoke to me and said yes I did have a heart attack. Wired me up check me all over.
"The people that took us were lovely"
The people that took us were lovely. Couldn’t knock any member of staff, they took me straight to my daughter.
"Nice and helpful"
Couldn't take him to his nearest hospital which would have been Solihull as he lived in Solihull. They were really nice and helpful. They said they couldn't take him to Heartlands due to funding so had to take him to City Hospital.

Mum had a fall, we waited for the paramedics to come, they checked her over but she didn't have to go hospital, everything was okay. They were very good though.

Rang the ambulance and they were quick, they were really good. Pretended to be Paw Patrol and everything.

They put me in the ambulance, the paramedics were lovely. She bandaged me up. When I got to hopsital, a nurse asked if she could take a photo as the paramedic had bandaged me up so funny, but she was lovely.
"He had to wait 10 hours"
Father in law called for an ambulance as he woke up and his leg had turned blue. He had to wait 10 hours for the ambulance to turn up and by then we had to take him to the hospital ourselves.

I waited 4 hours for an ambulance when my gallbladder flared up. They didn't come, they normally come within the hour.

They were really good. Daughter didn't like the masks due to covid but then played with her and kept her entertained.
"90 minute wait"
Child fell and hurt face badly and was told there was a 90 minute wait but that was as a priority. Scary to think if we needed an ambulance.

They've come to us three times. They were nice, kind and helpful. Took my son to hospital.

Doctors suggested to use an ambulance with it being chest pains, I spent an hour in the ambulance. They were great. Took 2 hours from the phone call, not too bad in the scheme of things, can't complain.

Came quickly for cardiac arrest, head injury and choking but otherwise can take a long time for other emergencies.

The Ambulance staff were brilliant, they treated me well. Couldn't stop apologising for the half hour wait.

My sister had a fall and she had to wait for 6 hours for ambulance to come.

Two days running, I was told by my Gp to call 999 out to me because I was too ill to get out of bed and My Gp wouldn't come out to see me because of the Covid virus. They were so nice and careing and thoroughly tested me to see that I didn't need to go into hospital.

Mental Health Triage Car - Very supportive, made calls to other mental health services. Supported my nephew into a mental health bed. We avoided an unnecessary trip to A & E.
"I fell in the hall of my house and needed aid"
The response I had from the life monitoring service and your own ambulance service was fantastic ,taking me to Hospital for general repairs and advice. Thank you all so much.

I had suddenly been struck by severe dizziness (akin to being on fairground ride) which rendered me unable to get up off the floor and caused me to vomit profusely every time I tried to stand. My daughter called for an ambulance to attend me. I was taken to the hospital after some time.

I contacted 999 and the person I spoke to was very helpful, supportive, and provided full information. Very good service.

Waited 4 hours for ambulance to A&E. It's not good for an 80 year old who suffers with disabilities. I'm spending lots of my life waiting around in hospitals or waiting for ambulances

"Paramedics were amazing"
My daughter recently had to call 111 due to being in the middle of a sustained asthma attack. The health advisor was brilliant, she put me onto a paramedic who advised me he was sending an ambulance. The hospital, paramedics and all NHS staff were amazing.
"Helped keep me calm"
Paramedic and student paramedic were very nice and helped keep me calm. They tried to make jokes and make me smile whilst transferring me to hospital after a violent unprovoked assault. Obviously had great people skills.
