"Don't always get appointments"
It can be difficult phoning them at 8am. The phones are always busy with long queues. They don't always give appointments or provide us with a service.

The medication I get from the GP is a real hassle to be honest.
They lost my information and aren't helpful. You can never see them either.
I got sent there by my own GP when there aren't any appointments at mine. They're too far away for me.
They rushed a referral to see gynaecology within 2 weeks. I was given a diagnosis within 2 weeks. Such a good practice. So ridiculously efficient. I went in for a blood test and had a UTI and the receptionist sorted a prescription just like that. So so good.
Tried to get an appointment this morning and apparently ALL the doctors at both practices are on leave! Only PAs and NPs are available and if they have a case to discuss with a doctor, they have to text!
Who manages this place in this manner?
Always there when I need them. Been with them since 1966. My only challenge is the online booking system but my daughter books for me.
They're bad in doing referrals. I've been requesting them for a year and the GP said I only want the referral to get more money in benefits.
I work full time and can easily get online phone or video appointments which is very helpful.
Today I had my smear test with the nurse. It was the quickest and most comfortable smear I have ever had. She made me feel at ease and was very professional.
Why would a doctor prescribe alcohol related medication when I drink and am an alcoholic. I have to just figure it out myself.
They don't pick up the phone. It's impossible to get an appointment.
It's okay but they just don't answer the phones. You have to ring six times. It's been difficult for my parents to get an appointment.
Difficult to get appointments.
The latest doctor I went to was lovely and helpful. She does her best. Getting an appointment is a nightmare. I have to physically go into the surgery at 8:00AM otherwise I won't get one. It shouldn't be like that, it shouldn't be so hard.
I like my GP they are very helpful and friendly. It can be difficult to get appointments though.
I seen physician associate, agree on medication, which was counseled on false pretence that this medication is not prescribed on NHS any more.
WHY couldn't I get an appointment?
They are never on time with appointments. I wait 30-40 minutes. They charge £170.00 for a letter. It is very expensive. Last year they lost my letter. This year I put the deadline for the letter and they still haven't contacted me. The receptionists are nice but the problem is miscommunication. Its is hard to get an appointment. I have to wait for a long time to get one. I prefer the app, it's easy. The receptionists talk very loud when I'm waiting. I can hear them talking about other patients details. I can hear their names and their details. Where is the confidentiality.
The GP has been alright but I mostly deal with the hospital as they are the ones dealing with medication and deliveries of it. They have referred me on for several things but I have been waiting for 2 years for one thing and ben told another 18 months wait for something else.
All good. I can get appointments and see my GP.
The GP referred my son for hearing issues. They were quick to give an appointment and sorted the referral out quickly to audiology. They can sometimes be slow with appointments but help where needs be.
Useless, not updated medical file. No mental health support, not willing to supply prescription for mental health medicine. Have no information about my file or medication.
I rang in this morning due to having issues with my current medication and got a telephone appointment. When the doctor finally rang all you could hear was him typing away in the background and I’m not even sure he understood what I was saying. He decided that I would need a face to face and booked me an appointment with another doctor as he was only working for half the day!!
I turned up at my normal doctors surgery 10 minutes before my appointment only to be told that I was at the wrong doctor’s and I should have gone to Grange Hill surgery. I ask the receptionist who was going to tell me that I should have gone to the other surgery as the half day doctor didn’t. She couldn’t answer the question and it is now 20:15 and I’m still waiting for an answer? Needless to say the service at this surgery is shocking and you can never speak to the practice manager as she refuses to take your calls.
This is not the first issue I’ve had, I only want the doctor to treat patients with respect and do the job they are paid very well to do.
Its good considering how they have looked after me during COVID.
100 phone calls and they say no appointments. So end up ringing 111.
Okay, staff have been really friendly and helpful. Very clean.
They are good and I can get appointments easily.
Really good, able to get both Face to face and over the phone appointment depending on what it is for. The doctor I’ve spoken to seems to be through and will get to the bottom of problem and not just leave you.
They referred us and took 1 year to get an appointment. We can get appointments, the waiting is down to Covid.
They are ok. Most of the time can get appointments over the phone first then Face to face if they need to see you.
Asthma review over the phone, they’re good I think. Can’t do one over the phone.
I’ve had a good experience, can get appointments. I haven’t had a condition that needs regular appointments. They’re good at emergency appointments for children and telephone appointments have been helpful & great.
I like going to my doctors, my niece takes me. They explain things to me and check me over.
Hard to get an appointment and to get through on phone. Very rarely I need an appointment but when I do I can’t.
Receptionists unhelpful, had been told couldn't order my repeat prescription now over the telephone but to go to chemist I usually use to order, I explained that chemist boots at weoley Castle had closed down so asked what do I do to get my medication, .. I was rudely told Tough and she put the phone down on me, I went without medication then for several months
Receptionists very unhelpful and sometimes down right rude.
Excellent service. Receptionists are always helpful. They are very busy but always find time for a joke with my partner. They brought the wheelchair out to him when his legs were bad. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
47 calls i made no answer.87 calls the next day no answer
Shocking. I have had a detrimental comment, by a doctor whilst having a smear, about my tummy. I have had mix ups with times of phone appointments by receptionists.
Never experience any issues
Quick appointments at Weoley Park Surgery and always follow up
