"Unable to get a review of medication"
At the moment I am unable to get to see a Dr for a review of medication.
You have to ring up at 8am and due to being retired I find it difficult to get up that early. When I check the medical centres online booking form there are only appointments for female smear tests.
"I've never had any major problems"
It's a good surgery. The problem with the appointment system is that you have to fill out an online form which is difficult for people who cannot get online and/or read and write in English. The staff here are very nice they are co-operative and they listen to your concerns. I have been a patient here for 20 years and I have never had any major problems.
"Worst Call centre they don't understand issues"
I call many times, the blood continues comes up from my stool and I call them many times just to ask for an appointment and they are not giving me appointments. First with one doctor then with another, then I stick to one doctor and they don't understand the situation. Just tests and no follow up.

Nightmare. They have never any appointments. Now they have gone online it's harder to to speak to someone. The staff are great but the access to get appointments is diabolical.

They are attentive, but at times things are not explained as well as they could. I would like them to explain what notes they are making about me as I am the patient and it is about me so I think I deserve to know.
"Wonderfully run"
This GP is wonderfully run. There are no hassle appointments and they have all the services. I needed a new knee recently and I did not need to wait for a referral and appointment, whereas my sister who lives in the south of the country is still waiting.
They have about 5 or 6 doctors and several clinics at the GP surgery. There is an online system to book appointments and it is easy to use.
The GP works well with the pharmacy who are also great.
"Practice is wonderfully run"
The practice is wonderfully run. I can book appointments with no hassle. I know other people struggle with booking appointments with their GP, but mine is great. They provide all of the services. I have recently had a new knee and there was no wait from referral to surgery, whereas my sister is still on a waiting list for knee surgery and she lives in the south of the country.

They're rubbish. They tell you to call at 8:30am and you can be first in the queue and yet the appointments are all gone. How does that work? They have an online system but I have never used it. I may have to give it a go.

It's not like it used to be before covid. We are now stuck with online appointments. I haven't seen my GP in ages.

I hate the system. They put appointments on at 12am which doesn't work and then you aren't awake to book one. I call back any time of the day and can't get an appointment.

I was with them for 20 years. The GP and nurses were excellent but the reception staff were very rude and unprofessional.
"Sent nurses for covid injection at home"
I have been using this practice for years. They don't do covid injections there so once when I called them they sent two nurses to my house to give me the injection. Which was very nice of them.

My sisters care was moved to here by the residential care. I have had a job getting an appointment and the receptionists ignore what you are saying to them. I found it hard to get through.

I can never see my GP. The last time I got an appointment with my GP was before covid I'm always seen by a new locum.

They're nice. The doctor is nice. I am okay with them. It's very good.

I have had difficulty seeing the doctor as I have been trying for the past few weeks. I have been trying to book an appointment to increase my medication as my situation has gotten worse but I haven't been called in. I've been referred to the pharmacy.

I went there and they wouldn't give me my mom's medical records after she passed away. Really bad.
"Over the phone appointments which is fine."
Good GP. You have to wait for a time but if you contact at 8:30am it's fine. They do over the phone appointments which I don't mind. Then they call you in if they need to see you.

No appointments at all. You have to wait for 3 days even for emergency appointments.

Shocking. Not very good. Can't get an appointment. Can't get through to them. If I need help they're not helpful. It's just awful.

It's okay, bit of a struggle normally. Rang about my adult grand daughter who has been diagnosed with mental health issues. They gave me an appointment an hour later. They were really good.

Good doctors, good getting appointments. Long time to get through on phone, and then I go to the surgery to make an appointment.

Good experience, too long waits on the phone. Sometimes there’s people in the queue, so I go there to book it myself. Sometimes there are no appointments so I have to go back the next day to make an appointment.

They're not hopeless but could do better. They need to have more appointments and the queues you have to wait in for them to answer your call is ridiculous. But they are better than some GP's as they are seeing people face to face.

Brilliant care from Dr. Looked after me for over 2 years (couple of appointments a week either phone or face to face). Couldn’t fault this surgery!! Able to book appointments on line or over the phone.

Got face to face appointment during first lock down, great systems in place to ensure safety of staff and patients. Recently phones to make appointment and receptionist very helpful and polite. Appointment sorted, again for face to face, have had great phone apps fduring lock downs.

The Dr called me, went through my symptoms, he then advised me to go in to the surgery to be seen later that day, a receptionist took my temperature at the door, asked me a few questions. I felt very safe in the environment.

Still not doing face to face appointments and I need to have my chest listened to as i have asthma
"Ignoring patients al over again"
I am so cross with the doctors attitude. I ve been sick for so long and all I hear: “Most of the people have this simptom, you are fine”. I am not most of people, I have told them to look into my health condition. I feel tired of repeating myself. The fact that doctors are changing all time make us patients feel so unsecure regarding this practice. They were so rude to me comparing me to others when I specifically told them my concerns, I felt like they were mocking me. I felt so ashamed and humilliated????
"Unprofessional"
Receptionist are unhelpful and hastily rush you if you take up their time longer than necessary. It is a far cry from patient centred approach.
Manager advocates and encourages such behaviour by discrediting patients unsatisfactory experience.

Difficult to get a face to face appointment. The appointment on the day was rushed.

Whenever me or my family have an appointment, we have never been seen on time. Given an appointment time and expected to turn up for it but have to wait another 20/30mins.
