"Terrible service which made my condition wors"
Where do I start? This is another perfect example of a waste of public funds. This is a team that is supposed to help you recover through the tough times but they can’t even organise a client pick up properly. They don’t bother calling you to arrange transportation, other times transportation will randomly show up after it didn’t show up the week before. They then call you 20 minutes after asking why you haven’t shown up. The day services they offer are unorganised, sometimes you spend 10 minutes in a yoga session waiting on the staff to finish off discussing what yoga exercise to do. One member of staff fell asleep twice in the Yoga sessions which wouldn’t have been an issue if she didn’t snore so loud, completely disrupting the atmosphere required for a Yoga session. To finish it all off, I was told I can only choose 2 specific sessions for the whole 6 weeks because “it’s confusing and complicated” for the staff to organise. They are also impossible to get a hold off which is ironic considering current circumstances at the time and not being able to get a hold of anyone. There have been days where I have been on the phone for hours trying to get through to someone.
This is not a service that should be offered to vulnerable, suicidal patients especially when the staff are so bad at their jobs. If anything, the staff made thoughts a lot worse and I’m glad I stopped going when I did, otherwise I probably wouldn’t be here.
