"Not needing them any longer"
I'm actually looking to get a different GP as I no longer need to see them there. I used to get appointments though.

You don't get the support or the help. They treat me like I'm not human and it's not okay.
Not very good. Not accessible. I can't get a face to face appointment. They know I am homeless but they didn't call until 6PM and my battery was low. The staff are also very rude. The system is corrupt.
They're good and have put me in touch with other services,
I get mental health support from the mental health nurse. She comes out to me every couple of weeks and phones me every week. I can call them and they get back to me within a couple of days. They're pretty good. I call them for other health issues too and they're brill.
I'm registered at the health exchange. I know who I need to contact if I needed a doctor.
Next door very convenient. won't give larger prescription, having to visit them more often.
Repeat Prescription is a problem. Need to go every two weeks. I want them to give me at least 4 weeks’ worth. It’s a joke.
Its alright and handy because its next-door. Nervous talking with them, feel like issues get resolved even though it takes a long time for me to explain.
I find them really helpful, kind and really engaged with you.
Receptionist is helpful. Pandemic meant telephone consultations & prescriptions.
Health exchange said they don’t want to give me my medicine.
Health exchange good. helped me a lot, understand my needs.
Very supportive & helpful. Appointments available all the time.
We support adult survivors of modern slavery, we recently helped one of our clients to register there. Our client has significant mental health problems (including multiple suicide attempts, anxiety, depression) and in constant pain due to historic injuries. The Health Exchange carried out a really thorough and comprehensive assessment of her health (it wasn't a 10-20 minute rush), immediately referred her for a scan and offered her specialist psychiatric support quickly. What we particularly noticed and appreciate is that they took time to LISTEN AND TO UNDERSTAND the nature of our clients issues and then to ACT PROMPTLY. They took her concerns and issues seriously and understood the nature of her trauma without judgment with expert care. When we, as a support service, contacted the practice with our concerns (with client's consent), they took time to hear what we had to say and responded by arranging a call and an appointment with the client.
Online survey questionnaire: What has worked well for you during lockdown?
Answer: Prescription from the homeless health exchange - Williams booth Centre, Birmingham
It is good because you feel something different here - people are helpful. They try and help, English is not my first language and they stay with you until you know exactly what your situation is. People are really friendly. I found out about this service through the Salvation Army. Appointments good - they let you know what time going to be and not waiting a long time
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We will let the team know. With best wishes to you.
Homeless exchange, good service been there since 9 years.
Many thanks for your kind words, we will let the team know.
I lost my son three years ago, social services took him from me. Since then my mental health has been really deteriorating and I am no longer in touch with my family or have a home. I used to take medication for my mental health, but since I took numerous overdoses they stopped my medication. I see nurse or doctor at health xchange every 2 -3 weeks. They are generally ok, but I am desperate to get help for my mental health. I need help! I have never been offered any support or counselling and I am desperate.
