"Experience depends on who you see"
My experience of The Castle Practice depends on the doctor I see. I have had some good experiences with some but things have been not so great with others. I did manage to see a good doctor earlier this year who referred me quickly for ongoing treatment.
"It's pot luck if get an appointment"
I think it is pot luck if you get an appointment. I usually go and queue at the surgery and once I tell them I need an appointment they will give me one.
"Excellent service in a very stretched NHS"
I have recently moved practice to this practice and although their is difficulty getting appointments (national problem not limited to this practice) I have found the services they offer to be very varied and comprehensive. The time and support I have received by the doctors and nurses since a bereavement has been above and beyond and you do not always here the good stories.
In an under appreciated NHS I appreciate all the help and support I have got from this hard working team.

We agree getting an appointment at times can be very difficult, and agree that this is not just our surgery but a national problem and a concern of many. We always aim to offer our patients the best care we can provide and are pleased that you feel you received this during a very difficult time.
"Lack of appointments"
When I book a appointment at my doctors they don't have appointments so when they say to phone you at 2pm to see if any cancellations you phone and then they say we have non they also ask for booking appointments daily i.e. can't book appointments at doctors.
