"They could be better"
They're alright, could be better, suppose when you phone up and say you need to talk to a GP and as soon as I say about my mental health they act like they are going around trying to find help.

Fairly okay. I go for water infections and for water retention in my legs. I have to wait for ages on the phone.
Online booking is available. I usually phone. They're great. They have been our family GP all of my life.
It's taken over 12 months for the referral to take place.
Terrible, you never speak to the same GP and then the next doctor doesn't know what your on about. They speak over the phone and not face to face. They never upload documents onto the NHS app and they don't do follow ups either.
Went in for routine smear feeling very nervous, was put straight at ease with the nurse, having a chat before, and the test was over before I knew it, best experience I've had with one of these which is appreciated. Thank you
Very good. Same day appointments and they listen carefully.
They're a good service. They do same day appointments when you call them.
Good but can be hard to get an appointment. It took me a week calling them to get one.
No problems at all, it's easy to get appointments.
I want it to be easier to get appointments, everything is online and I have not got a phone to access the internet.
It's easy to get an appointment and I can see the doctor.
I love them I do. When I call I don't wait long in the queue and I literally get an appointment at 9am for the same day.
They will see you the same day if needed when I call. Long waits just to get through on the phone though.
They're a nightmare at the minute. They have been doing my epilepsy prescription for 8 years. I requested a repeat and the GP said they would no longer be prescribing it and that I would need to go through the hospital in future and that it was my problem to sort out.
Good, I can get appointments with them. They're no bother. They see us the same day if we need it.
Good. Okay to get appointments, even on the phone I can make them.
Shocking.
Very easy to get same day appointments and the GP explained the issue very well.
Unable to access appointments and prescriptions and can not seem to get any help.
Ashamed of this practice
The mental health nurse prescribed medication. They keep upping it and said my issues could be hormonal so they put me on HRT. I had a reaction to HRT so they took me off it and they're looking at putting me on something else. It's a pain.
It's easy to get an appointment and I can see the doctor the same day.
I can get appointments there anytime. They are very good.
They said they would refer me to the Royal but never said how long it would take. They're very good when trying to get appointments.
I am diabetic and had to wait 2 hours with the line busy. I have my blood tests and then the diabetic nurse updates me which I am happy with. I would like the same doctor but they change them all the time. They aren't too bad and I like the nurse there.
I was unable to get an appointment and told to call back the following day.
The GP referred me onto the Royal 4 months ago and got an appointment for then. I can't complain about the way things are, it's just the system.
Appointment availability is okay and GPs and nurses are very helpful and listen to patients concerns very well.
It's hard to get an appointment but they're very good. They send too much medication even when you tell them you don't need it anymore. They still send it, other than that I don't have anything bad to say about them
Doctors took a long time to do a referral to the Royal. It takes a long time for everything. They aren't great in all honesty.
They're fantastic. Say if I rang up this afternoon they would allow me to speak to a doctor within 15 minutes or I'm seen within the hour. When I ring up they know I like to see someone. They're really good.
It's alright, I have no problems with them. I phone for an appointment and they put you through to a clinician straight away. I always seem to get through. They help you over the phone or will call you in. It works well. For bloods you can just book online easily.
I didn't like how they dealt with things and felt uncomfortable accessing them .
When I first went there they were brilliant, now they're rubbish. You can't get to see a doctor. I ended up changing doctors in the end because I was sick of them making excuses to not see us face to face.
I cannot get to see a GP face to face about my mental health.
I had physiotherapy within 3 to 4 days of me going to the GP. They told me what to do with my shoulder. They sent me videos and emails of what to do which I have been doing but I need a second opinion.
It was easy to make an appointment they sent a referral straight away as I had proof of my problem. They also gave me physiotherapy. Sometimes it can be difficult to get through on the phone. That would be my only concern.
They are really good. The staff are nice. Booking appointments is very easy. The doctor is also good. The receptionists are very nice and the waiting time to be called in to see the doctor is short. They are always helpful. My GP Surgery is excellent.
My dad doesn't like the one GP, he is useless and takes ages for dad to get a sick note and makes him wait longer. He is not very good.
There are 2 slots on the morning. The only thing I object to is sharing information with receptionists.
It's okay. I get appointments without any issues. The staff are great, communication is great.
I've been trying to sign up for the online service for 5 years now. The receptionist keeps telling me to fill out the form knowing I can't. They are just plain rude and ignorant.
This practice is excellent. I don't have any difficulties getting appointments. It's all fine.
My daughter was referred on for a blood test. I was told the GP would want to discuss the results with me but the receptionist seemed to rush me off the phone. They made a referral for further treatment as issue was getting worse, that took 3 weeks.
My husband is not happy with his GP because he just can't get an appointment at all. They don't answer the phones and reception staff are rude.
Very good. Appointments are never an issue.
I will give them 4 stars. GPs, reception and nurses are all good. At times it is very difficult to get an appointment.
I can get appointments but they are very slow in getting referrals done. It took them 8 months to refer me to rheumatology.
Very good and until now we haven't faced any issues. We have to call and wait in a queue to be connected but it is fine and we get an appointment in the end.
It is much better than other surgeries. I have to wait a while on the phone but eventually get seen by a GP or practice nurse on the same day.
Long wait to get through to reception on the phone. Then another long wait to get through to clinical team. Never get the same doctor. Used to have named GP but not since COVID. Poor phone quality which makes experience even more frustrating. GPs can’t get visual cues from telephone consults.
Very helpful and supportive reception staff. They always try to accommodate me.
Pretty good with my medication. There has been a few hiccups that hasn't been their fault. There are no long waits for medication. All has been pretty good.
You can't get through to them. Some mistakes have been made and they are not what they used to be. You have to phone on the day and if they think you need to be seen, they will see you the same day. Remote texts and appointments just do not work. I was prescribed medication and I wasn't sure why or whether I should be taking a double dose.
2 days to get through for a condition I've had previous so I know exactly what it is. Had to argue to get past a receptionist who thinks she's a gp and entitled to know all my symptoms, get past her eventually to a nurse who then has complete attitude, constantly overtalking me and refuses an appointment stating send a picture then changes her mind saying no go to your opticians like hello do any of our GPS actually see patients anymore? My opticians sent me to you but you wouldn't have heard that because you was too busy talking over me
Good. I can get appointments but it takes a while for them to answer. But with my son being premature they will give him an appointment the same day. They also do the same for myself and kids.
Good GP. Can get appointments quite easily.
They're very good, just trying to get through to them at 8:30am can be difficult. Once you do get through it alright, I can get an appointment.
Absolutely abysmal. My daughter was tested for a lactose intolerance in May and we have not heard anything since. They lost the test the first time and that second test they done, we've still not heard from. They only do telephone appointments now and you have to take pictures, then they may let you see a doctor.
I'm lucky if I get an appointment here, I've tried on the phone for me and my husband. Went back to the GP for my husbands Diabetes sensor and the GP said there was no one there to do it. My husband couldn't remember how to do it at the time which is why he asked the Pharmacist and GP. Luckily he remembered but he would have had to go all the way back to the hospital, even though the Diabetes clinic had told me to go to the GP with any problems.
They're not too bad. I don't like that you have to order your insulin twice a month instead of once. The GP has helped me with referrals to the hospital too. They have sent things off for me and said to wait to hear from them.
The doctors are nice but very difficult to get an appointment.
The GP done blood and found out I have a Vitamin D deficiency, which can cause depression. They have since given me Vitamin D tablets which are helping.
They do their best. Fair amount of doctors, Can always get hold of one. Have to wait for them to answer, tried to do things by phone, they will usually see on same day. No continuity, can’t say I want to speak with such and such doctor.
Can get appointment quite easily. They are a very good practice. They are polite and very helpful.
Daughter tried to book an interpreter for herself for an appointment. There was no BSL interpreter available. My daughter than had to interpret for me. The receptionists made me feel uncomfortable. It really upset me. When I do get interpreters, they are very good.
They tell me I am calling at the wrong time. I have been waiting 2 weeks for an appointment for my work. And they won’t give me my meds until I have a review. It’s impossible. It’s very frustrating.
I go for fit and health assessments. They are good and provide interpreter but if it is emergency than it’s difficult to get interpreter.
Great – I love them, can’t complain. Can get appointments but depends how many doctors are there. Can get to see my doctor as well which is good.
Everything's alright. I can get appointments and they're accessible.
Nowhere as good as they used to be, now part of partnership . can’t get appointment with doctor you want. Hard to get an appointment, they say all appointments are gone but will see you if it’s nan emergency. But can ring back the next day and get one.
Struggle to get to speak to the dr of your choice who knows your health conditions when you ask the dr on the clinical support line for an apt with dr of choice your told no they are all qualified to treat patients then go and prescribe medication that your not ment to take . Some of the drs are a waste of time and some are rude
Not happy with the service, struggling to get to talk to someone about daughters development. Feel like I've been fobbed off with daughters bowel issues.
You have to make out that you're falling apart. Doctor dismisses you and another doctor will try to give you medication and help. You have to stay on the phone to try and get an appointment.
Just fob you off, won’t see you face to face. Took 2 months for face to face appointment to check back. Just take paracetamol. Told to go to excuses.
Had telephone conversation and Had telephone conversation and they’ll say come in, but sometimes, they say they’ll ring at a later time.
Can’t get an appointment, It has been over two years since I last used them
You don’t use them really, I don’t go their really but do get appointments for my foster children and they give them.
Generally its good, can get appointments and get through on phones. Prioritise children, my 2 year old son.
Useless, It takes a nightmare to get through on phones. Child had issues with constipation. Told doctor about Bristol stool chart and they took seriously. They than asked to see her. They fob you of, If I did not know terminology would they have seen me.
In the last 3 years I have not seen my doctor face to face, every appointment was on phone.
Not had to try since Covid, prior to covid difficult to get through calling them. Didn't get appointments easily. Have to try to make an appointment a week in advance but if you're poorly you can't do that.
Very difficult to get an appointment. Last time was not listened too by GP. I had a hearing problem and they referred me to a specialist.
Sometimes it’s difficult to get through but GP’s are excellent.
They are fine but very difficult to get an appointment. Different GP all the time.
I can get appointment whenever I want. Staff very supportive.
Long wait on phone, no appointments and can't see the doctors you prefer. The diabetic clinic is useless - it's none existent.
I had my Covid jabs there, everything was very well planned.
They're really good. I saw them face to face as they took bloods.
Sometimes very good, but they are not professionals for emergency, you need professionals for an emergency. But they are working for us.
Very poor service, poor communication. Our doctors are pre pandemic and doesn't seem to have moved forwards like shops and other services.
I don't go to them, I tend to not bother. What's the point when I can't get an appointment.
Where to start. When I was pregnant with youngest, was really poorly-needed a blood test. Test was abnormal and wasn’t notified. GP told me there was nothing wrong but I ended up going private and they diagnosed a issue and now I need an operation next month.
Its good we can get appointments on time. It’s quite efficient and effective.
Brilliant, even thought lockdown call @ 8 someone will phone back between 8:15 to 8:30. Had issue doing lock down referral to women’s in 2 weeks.
They've been fantastic, they were quick to see me. I had to get blood tests and they've arranged it. They were kind and considerate. My 7 y/o grand-daughter went for a check up and was referred for blood tests at the children's.
Awful. Can't see a doctor face to face, only over the phone. Prescriptions take 5 working days. I need specialist medication and have to order it 2 weeks in advance.
You can't get appointments, if you don't ring between 8-11 or 12-6 you don't get through.
There's long waiting times when trying to make an appointment over the phone and I struggle to get an appointment.
Service is absolutely brilliant apart from a district nurse.
I want to have a face to face appointment rather than phone appointment.
The process for seeing a doctor has gone complicated since Covid started. But my GP is excellent.
I was on phone for 1 hour to get an appointment this morning and in the end my line was disconnected.
Staff are very good and helpful. Even during pandemic full support was provided by the healthcare team.
GP’s good if you get to see them which is always very challenging. You have to call them 10 times before speaking to them.
Being pregnant we have been able to speak and see my GP. Very supportive and referred to the early pregnancy unit and was seen the same day.
Good service except lack of appointment availability.
Waited in a queuing system to make an appointment, was 2nd in the queue and then cut off, called back and then 6th in the queue.
Call answered and put through to a clinician again waxed 20 minutes to answer.
What has happened to a phone call back?
Very happy with them. Still not seeing patients face to face.
Receptionist are very good
Great redirection of call to appropriate health care service and chasing of prescriptions
Calls answered by computerised message urging use of their website. Voice eventually tells you where you are in the queue ( I've been No. 12 a few times and I hang up ( local landline calls cost up to 16p per minute!) If you do eventually get through to Reception to request a doctor's phone appointment you then get put through to the "Clinical Support Team". So instead of speaking to a doctor who is familiar with your health issues you speak to someone who is not. That's assuming that the phone is answered at all!. When I recently asked one of the doctors when they might return to pre-Pandemic service I was told "not for the foreseeable future and all appointments may remain initially as doctor phone appointments"!
Can never get to see a dr in person and can't get same dr to deal with problem - have about 5 or 6 different drs dealing with same problem
A great change since Covid but they have managed exceptionally well. Although not normally offering face to face appointments it is always possible to ring up and speak to a GP even at the beginning a timed telephone appointment with a GP of our choice. Now they have become a hub for vaccine delivery they are even busier but it is still possible to phone up and have a GP call back. Also being able to send photos of symptoms has been employed. Advances in technology but still access to sympathetic reception staff and kind and effective GP contact. Sterling work.
Very good and efficient. Only had trouble with the appointment confirmation as the text required an email confirmation - and I don't have a smart phone (my phone is really stupid)
Very Poor, I phoned in to say I had a pain in my side was at 10 the Dr that phone me back stated it sounds like a muscle paid to take over the counter strong meds. The pain was so severe I phoned Selly oaks clinic and the Dr stated I should bring a urine sample which I did.. The outcome an infection!
Have been amazing in mine and my sons care, as a carer to my son who suffers adhd, asd and spd, the help and care my gp has given this last year has been invaluable.
Excellent, fast and efficient.
Could not have been better all done very quickly and without any fuss.
Had both jabs in Feb and April 2021. Brilliant organisation. Felt safe and welcomed and the procedure was simple and all risks explained. Excellent NHS
Efficient service, no waiting and friendly staff
Excellent service all round
I have received letters which are factually incorrect Doctors failed to follow up on info from hospital.
Excellent service
Have been with the practice for 59 years always had first class service for my family.
Excellent service
Normally, very good. During Cironavirus, not very good.
The phone line waiting time is very terrible, I waited on line for an hour and when they finally picked up the call they hang up and I had to resit another few minutes to go thru. Very poor service.
I have been a patient of this practice for many years and always received top quality service. I recently had my COVID vaccine there and it was run very well by professional and courteous staff.
Very good.
