"It's okay but I'd rather see my normal GP"

It's okay but I would rather see my own GP at my own practice. It's frustrating not seeing your own GP who knows your history. There are long waits for routine appointments and you can't get same day appointments either.

"Always get sent elsewhere"

I can never get an appointment and get sent elsewhere which is a nightmare and just really inconvenient. I can't understand why I can't get one at my own GP. It's frustrating as its the closest to me.

"Lovely and helpful"

I come here for blood tests and the nurse is lovely. They also showed me how to get my blood results on the NHS app which is also helpful.

"The new booking system is good"

The new system to book appointments is good and has improved the service. I have found it much better for getting appointments. I have unfortunately found that the data management is poor and I have experienced difficulties when requesting medical records. My experience at appointments varies depending on which doctor I see. I was referred immediately to the hospital when needed, which was pleasing.

In order to receive a copy of your medical records, a medical request must be submitted through our health forms under SARS. The surgery then has 28 days to release these records to you. If you still need support receiving these records, please submit a health form for the to be actioned by a member of the team, or call/visit your nearest surgery and a member of the team will be happy to help you.

"Problem getting correct prescription"

Ordered prescription at beginning of December. Went to local chemist to pick it up. Was told chemist did not have one item which was 5mg and quantity was 112. Was told they only had 2.5mg so I would have to take double my amount of tablets each day... Was told they would contact doctor to amend prescription accordingly. New prescription arrived which showed 112 tablets at 2.5 mg so basically I have only received half of my required amount. Numerous visits to Jacey and numerous calls from pharmacist to Jacey and situation has not changed after a week. Pharmacist says I have to solve the problem myself.

"Not too bad"

Appointments aren't too bad. They're happy to go in and book it. Changed the way you book appointments. Also it takes them 72 hours to sort prescription requests. If I take both mine and my husband's prescriptions in they get confused and they don't get sent to the pharmacy correctly.

"Can get sent anywhere"

You can be sent to any of the SHP practices. Still a long wait though. It's not immediate. I can't drive so it's a pain to get to other ones too.

"It works well"

Works well the times I have been there. It's not my regular GP but it's okay and good to get seen where you can.

"I was sent away and had to rebook"

I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and the GP was 20 minutes late. Never seen on time and this time I was sent away and had to rebook and not even for the GP that I wanted to see.

Our clinicians try their best to stick to the allocated times given for each patient, however, there may be times where, due to unavoidable circumstances, more time has to be given to the patient before you. Our clinicians do see their patients as quickly as possible. We try and honour requests to see certain clinicians, however, if the desired clinician has a full clinic or are not working, then that cannot be actioned and an alternative member of staff is offered.

"Feel very let down by poor communication"

My experience has been poor and I feel they have really let me down in my hour of need. Communication has been poor and results have not been relayed to me. I have had to request a full blood count/tests. There is one really good female doctor who goes the extra mile.

"Lacking equipment for blood test"
