"Digital access & systems are a problem for me"

My experience of trying to get an appointment at SHP is a nightmare. I find it really hard to use online technology. I have really tried but I just cannot get the hang of it. I just can't manage to use the links that they send to you.

"Online booking system does not work for me"

My experience has been poor because of the difficulties I experience trying to book appointments. I am unable to use online technology which makes accessing appointments difficult.

"Superb team of staff here!"

My experience of SHP Haslucks Green Medical Centre has been outstanding. They are superb friendly staff. It can be very busy but the receptionist works hard to get to people in quickly. The receptionists are both so kind thoughtful and helpful. They are also very chatty and personable and can have a laugh and a joke with them which is great. The nurse is also wonderful when I visit her for my hormone treatment.

"Excellent ongoing cancer treatment"

I receive a superb service from a nurse at Haslucks Green Medical Centre. I have regular appointments and hormone injections as part of my ongoing cancer treatment. Having such a kind and thoughtful nurse makes treatment so much easier. I look forward to coming in for my appointments because she is so lovely.

"Cannot fault the brilliant service"

I cannot fault the service provided at Haslucks Green Medical Centre. The receptionist is superb and one of the doctors in particular is brilliant. They are both so kind and thoughtful. I have no issues accessing the medical care I need. I look forward to coming in for appointments because they are all so lovely. I am very grateful for the service they provide.

"Happy with the services"

I'm happy with the services at the surgery. Getting appointments is the only negative.

"Better before the new triage system"

I found the surgery fine before they implemented the new triage system. I have waited two weeks for an appointment. I found that calling the surgery worked better for me.

"I have to get help with the online system"

I have been unable to use the online triage system and I have to get my wife to do it for me. I have regular blood tests which are easy to access. When I have needed urgent same day appointments I have got them with help from my wife.

"Online triage system works well for me"

The online triage system is working well for me. I have been able to get appointments using it. There is still a wait for non-urgent appointments but I have been seen on the same day when needed. I do worry for patients that are unable to use the online system for example I have to do it for my husband as he just cannot use it. I worry about people who do not have someone to help them.

"The receptionist here is lovely & so helpful"

The receptionist at Haslucks Green Medical Centre is lovely and so helpful. She treated me with patience and kindness and took time to sort out a problem caused by the pharmacy. I was very pleased with the service she provided. Thank you.

"Happy with service I received"

I am happy with the service I have received today but I have left my appointment a little unsure of why I have to go away and send photographs back to the surgery and why the doctor could not do it while I was at the appointment. I am going to have to get help to do this. I felt reassured by the doctor that they are going to make an urgent referral for me to the hospital.

"A lot better than it was"

A lot better than it was. Online forms make is vary when you get an appointment. Bit slow with referrals.

"Straight forward and quick"

I called yesterday and was given clear instructions and a link to complete. It was all really straight forward. I had to rebook the given slot and change the date which was easy and quick to do.

"Nice, caring staff"

Only ever been here for vaccinations as it not my usual GP. The staff are nice and caring. Bit of a wait for the appointment but I didn't feel rushed.

"Came through quickly"

I filled in the form and the response came through quickly. It would have been easier if I could fill in a form for multiple needs like bloods and examination rather than separate ones.

"Online system is frustrating"

Frustrating to have to do everything online and then have to come in anyway. The appointment turnaround is not quick, I waited 2 weeks. there needs to be a better system to get long term sick notes.

"Seen within 4 hours"

My husband was triaged and seen by a nurse. He was given medication and that process was good. He was seen within 4 hours and that system worked well.

"They didn't call during my availability"

The system is run on the presumption that you will be available for a call back. You have one shot to be available. That doesn't work. I told them on the form the available call times and I missed their call as they did not follow the information I provided. This meant I had to restart the process.

"The triage system worked well for me"

First time I used the triage service and it was okay once I got my head around it. I used to call but now you have to go online. It worked well for me so far.

"It's hit and miss"

It's hit and miss. The new system should work really well but I don't know what form to fill in. It could be an effective system if people know how to properly use it.

"Booked in for over a month away"

Waiting can take hours as you can be 32 in the queue and I can't book online for my son's appointments. I have to fill in a form and then wait even longer. They told me last week the next available appointment would be 29th November, then they text to say it was today but they didn't tell us they had changed the appointment.

"Good if you're okay going online"

It's okay if you're okay going online but I don't think it's great if you're older. If there is a problem getting online you have to call them anyway and then wait in the queue. The form online is a bit long too. I found myself having to fib to try and get an appointment. It's the last thing you want to do if you're unwell. I have tried to request a certain doctor loads of time and never get him. I also have to wait a long time for an appointment.

The receptionists at Haslucks Surgery are lovely, so caring and they always do their best to assist me.

"New appointment system is diabolical"

My experience is awful. Getting an appointment with the new online system is diabolical. I waited five days for an appointment and have been left in terrible pain. When you do manage to get an appointment it could be at any of the surgeries which is not always convenient. The doctors have no clue who you are or why you are attending appointments. Years ago you knew your doctor and they knew you too.

"Had to try 4 times to get an appointment"

It is not easy to get appointments here. I tried to get in last week and had to fill out a form and send pictures. I ended up having to chase them up 4 times and demand an appointment in person to get one.

"Receptionists help with appointment form"

The receptionists are friendly and helpful. They help me to fill out the appointment form which I appreciate. The doctors are good too.
