"Don't trust them with your elders"
Coming in and leaving within 5 minutes. Neglected my mother who is 73 and has Addison's disease and diabetes.

Total waste of space. I wouldn't pay them in buttons. They have no paperwork to refer to, everything was online that I didn't have access to. You wait in all day for them to come. Waited until 12pm for a morning visit. They pulled up outside of the house and sat on the wall on the phone to the 'office'. They don't give you any help, not once did they ask if she'd had medication. Initially they came out 4 times a day, then went down to twice a day but they were more of a hindrance than a help. Regular ones that come were okay, but I wouldn't have personally paid for them.
The carers were good and came on time.
They come once a day for personal care and they're very good. Always on time. They're brilliant.
They're okay, good. Reliable and come on time. They are helpful and do what they are supposed to do.
They come four times a day to give medication and do personal care was arranged by hospital. A six week package. They're okay.
After 10 days after taking my disabled sister at the start of day, using a supplied hoist, eight feet to her day chair, yesterday the 1st visit refused (they disputed the Care Plan), they were instructed by Sevacare to return to use the hoist at lunchtime. They did this but refused to straighten her up in the chair (all previous care workers had insisted on doing so) and then on the 3rd visit again one care worker initially refused to do so, though her co-worker was ok as she had done this for my sister previously. After a phone conversation with duty person she was instructed to do so.. Why the inconsistency?
May 2024 I came home. 3 visits per day. They just turned up with huge varying times. Most could not converse in the King's English. Some smelt of stale spices. Younger ones spent most of the time texting. Useless company.
Whilst we have had a few individual carers who have been lovely, overall this service is extremely poor and I would not recommend it at all. The service managers mess up the care plan constantly. My elderly mother was left in bed and expected to defecate and urinate in bed as they refused to take her to a commode or toilet. They do not routinely wash her and all they are prepared to do is to change her clothes.
The carer was such a lovely woman who was very kind and warm hearted towards myself and my mom. Thanks
I had the best carer from Sevacare. She was absolutely fantastic. She became a friend. She was really good.
These guys were sent to look after my mom ..
They have created more problems than they have solved. Shocking leadership
Since my grandmother come out of a rehabilitation centre she has been very confused and disoriented. I asked for regular carers that she was familiar with, I asked for them to write down all they had done so we knew what was happening. My grandmother then didn’t require a morning or teatime carer.
I made this clear to EICT that came out and directly with sevacare.
I have had to speak to them every day to constantly repeat what I had requested, they keep telling me I need to request this with the EICT team, which I had already done.
Carers still keep turning up in the morning and tea time.
There is no consistency with carers which distresses my grandmother out. And they still don’t document anything. It’s like talking to a brick wall with EICT & sevacare!
They either don't turn up or turn up at inappropriate times e.g last visit at 6.30 pm, following afternoon visit at 5.30pm. Have broken ornaments and milk bottles. Don't seem to understand requests .
My father came out of Good Hope on 25th June after a fall and was supposed to have 4 visits per day; 2 45 minute visits morning & night with 2 30 minute visits in between.
The carer’s weren’t too bad at first but gradually spent less and less time if they turned up at all.
The culmination of this was on Saturday 3rd July no food was made for my father and despite having put all medication in a blister for them none was given.
On the night of 3rd July my father took an overdose of anti depressants and had another fall. No carer turned up on the morning of 4th July which meant a relative found my dad at 1.00pm.
When I phoned to complain I was told the carer hadn’t turned up because he found a client on the floor and no contingency was in place but as my father was in an ambulance on his way to Good Hope “that’s fine”
Why is this company being paid by Birmingham City Council and our Council Tax.
They are disgraceful.
There were both friendly, pleasant and kind. Will come back if more care is required.
