My husband saw two doctors in recent weeks, and we both felt we had excellent care. Both Doctors are so very kind and caring and also very thorough. Thank you both.
The newsletter for patients has to be read on a mobile phone, which I find terrible. Why not provide a downloadable PDF file or a web page that can be read in any browser? All medical and prescription services are excellent however.

Good when I go there. There was a misunderstanding and they took me off by mistake so I just changed GP.
This is my new surgery. The GPs are good and I can get appointments via face to face or phone. They're attentive.
Okay. Same old really. Couldn't get appointments easily and would often go elsewhere to get the help.
Last time I saw a doctor I don't feel they listened to what I was saying and they think they have all the answers, i.e. talk to a mental health person when I don't have mental health issues. One doctor stopped my prescription and blocked my access to the NHS app without talking to me first, when I complained to the receptionist the doctor called me.

They're okay. Support worker helped sort it out. They helped me get appointments too.
I have joined Selly Park Surgery about 2/3 years ago when I moved to the area. I cannot fault this practice and have received nothing but positive, helpful and polite services from the receptionist, to the nurses, to the HCAs and the Doctors. Although I have great things to say about everyone I have dealt with I have to take this opportunity to get a special thanks and gratitude to a Dr. I have been experiencing quite complex health issues and the Dr has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to help me. When booking appointments I always ask to see this Dr specifically as she has my full trust and respect and I know that I am always in good hands when I am being seen by her. She has always been firm and truthful about everything to me, she always reminds me that even though she is a GP there are many things that is out of her control and I need to stay on track with all my appointments with other services if I want to improve my situation. She is very firm with me when I don’t do what I am supposed to do or when I do things that affect my health and she will tell me very directly but I will never be offended because I know that she comes from the best place and she genuinely cares, not just as a doctor but as a human being. Every health issue I experience, the Dr takes care of business IMMEDIATELY, whether that is referring me, changing medications, taking off or adding new medications. I just feel so comfortable with her because she REALLY knows what she is doing, I came from a GP where they did not diagnose or recognise ANY health issues and allowed things to escalate, as soon as I joined SPS, all my health issues was dealt with and diagnosed, things that I never even imagined was going on in my body, this may sound over exaggerated but the only way I can describe my experience, is that this Dr saved my life. She improved my quality of life and made me aware of my health issues and I am now in care to all external specialists that I truly needed years ago. But it’s better late than never, there was a time in life where I was going through depression due to my Health Issues because I lost hope, but my Dr's assistance has made me gain hope that I can somewhat live a normal life again regardless of my medical problems, which was a struggle and took time but I am finally at a good place that I never believed I could reach. This Dr is the definition of a Doctor that does not take her profession as a job but rather a passion. She deserves all praise that she gets. Thank you SO much for changing my life and being a important individual factor in my life. Thank you Selly Park Surgery!
The GP has been good. It's been good so far. No problems at all.
I have been with them since the last 20 years. I have received a very good service and support over the years.
My parents are here from India on a visitor visa, they are going to be here for the next 3-4 months to help me with my pregnancy. The NHS website says we can get them registered as temporary patients at any GP practice but I have tried a few surgeries and I get the response that unless they are ill , they won't be able to register .Please can you clarify the rules around this ? I'm under the impression that having a temporary registration at a practice will then help me book them in for an emergency appointments or services if needed . But trying to get them registered after they have symptoms is inevitably going to delay the process , but that's what I'm being advised . In short , I would like to know if I can have my parents registered as a temporary patient for 3 months at a GP practice , without having an immediate reason for attendance
Never had a problem with them but I don't have to use them that often.
Can take quite a while to get an appointment. The waiting times are quite a lot there. It's okay communicating with the receptionists and GP's. The usual problem that you deal with is speaking with the receptionists, telling them all your details then them telling you whether you can have an appointment. It would be best to speak with the GP first and let them decided. Though they are polite.
Been with them for past 50 years, no trouble never had any problems with them at all. If I just need a consultant they’re fine. You don’t need to push to get it.
Was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis before lockdown and haven’t received any help or further information since being diagnosed. It would have been nice for further information or help but nothing was given. It’s also hard to get appointment with the GP.
I can access them easily and get appointments and they're face to face. I'm happy using them.
GP very good. They contacted me to arrange blood pressure testing. I had forgotten about the text and they contacted me again and gave me same day appointment
GP excellent and flexible. I have a problem with practice manager who is sarcastic and rude. I am a diabetic and have a kidney problem. I want to see a same doctor for both and have waited for a long time.
I've been with them a long time. They are very good & helpful.
Good and quick service
The Doctors are wonderful they attended my Son and Husband when they had terminal illnesses I could not have had better treatment for them.
My GP practice for about 30 years. The Nurses, doctors and reception staff are all very friendly and helpful.
I have been a patient for many years, and a young doctor there saved my life by insisting I went to hospital immediately.
They are excellent and the doctors are all really great.
