Four teeth removed and cost hundreds of pounds. Terrible.
Took wrong tooth out twice. Avoid at all costs
They told me they were a private dentist but I told them 111 had sent me and so they said they had a cancellation. I was there for 30 minutes, they said they couldn't save my tooth and apologized. They froze my gum and pulled it out.
I have been a long-time patient of Scotts Arms and have always had positive experiences—until my most recent visit. Recently, I called in regarding discomfort in my back tooth and was given an appointment for 9 PM after initially specifying my need for a late appointment. I was seen by a dentist, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional during our interaction.
Despite not requesting an emergency appointment, the dentist insisted I needed two fillings but could only provide temporary solutions. When I expressed my confusion, he laughed and said, “Who do you think is going to give you a normal appointment at 9 PM?” This comment made me feel belittled, and he seemed indifferent to my concerns.
When I spoke with the reception staff afterwards, they mentioned that stating I was in pain automatically classified my visit as an emergency. I don't agree with this policy, as I simply voiced my need for an appointment, the same way I would for a doctor's visit.
While the reception staff and the dental assistant were helpful, the dentist's dismissive attitude was unacceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, and I hope he can improve his communication style in the future.
Overall, my experience today was very disappointing, and I hope the clinic addresses this issue moving forward.

3 weeks after going to the doctors repeatedly, the dentist said my daughter had mouth cancer. Lucky it was picked up at the point it was.

Very expensive but absolutely brilliant. They will see you literally within an hour when it's an emergency. Totally impressed with them.
They're good because it's a private dentist that you pay for the care. They dealt with my son because he is under 17. They're open until 11/12pm as they do emergency appointments. They're really good. You pay for a service so you pay for a service they deliver.

Dad was having issues with his teeth, the dentist came to the home and sorted the issue out for him so he was able to eat better. The home organised all this for us.
Amazing, hard to get appointment but they give me it months in advance, see the same Dentists every time. They also offer an emergency service too.
Had to go private with them because I could not get an appointment. It was very expensive but they saw us and sorted us out. It was just very expensive.
Since I've used the Equaliy Act 2010 they have targeted me.
I tried to use the Equality Act 2010 again today on the phone as a person with disability.
Staff should be trained in Equality and Diversity.
Kept hanging up on me.
So I kept calling then they made a threat towards me so I reported it to the Police to log.
Then when I tried to contact them again the blocked my number and ive paid registration as well.
The pratice try to tell you the dentist is inderpendent when you complain about him and send your complaint to him.
To investigate his own complaint.
They dont care about peoples health and try to get as much money out of them as possible.
They are a disgrace and have make me scared to even visit them.
Things got so bad today I phoned the Police after them making threats as I feel they are conducting a hate crime.
So I have a log number and if this goes on a number of times I'll push for Police action against them.
We are here as private patients as the one that we were at didn't have space for my younger daughter. Now we pay privately it's expensive but at least we get seen.
They were okay, I got appointment quickly and they treated me well.
It’s alright, It’s free can get appointment with them. Lost one tooth and they help me.
They don’t come out and do the regular check ups but they will come out in emergencies.
They are really good & nice, been going there more often. Every time I go they keep asking for payment. I feel like recently with workload there has been a shift. I don’t know what’s happening. Staff are polite.
Easy to park, reception staff friendly, waiting room comfortable, dentists and nurses professional and pleasant.
