GP didn't know about special needs

They are rubbish. One of the doctors from there has been suspended. If I didn't know so much about special needs, they wouldn't have got any help as the GP knows nothing. When I was trying to get an ADHD diagnosis for my daughter, we were sent to a walk in service who didn't know why we were there. Later went back to the GP and we saw a lovely nurse who added her to a waiting list. She was randomly taken off the waiting list without being told and then after some pushing, she was put back on. She was finally referred to CAMHS for ADHD and Autism. she was taken off the list and sent somewhere private in Leeds for assessment. After a lot of pathways and failures I went back to the GP and my daughter is now on the Right to Choose pathway.
