Good care, but far to travel
The care at Solihull Hospital was good, but I do not understand why patients are sent miles away when they live right by another hospital. It cost me £26 each way in a taxi to get there. I am not physically capable of using public transport and I am not eligible for hospital transport, or help with travel costs. It makes little sense, and I think that these things should be considered when giving patients appointments. They need to take age, distance and vulnerabilities into account.
