Staff at ADCU, theatre and recovery were excellent. However my letter advising about my admission stated that I could eat and drink as normal prior to admission so I had a piece of toast, this proved to be incorrect as the anaethetist told me I would need to wait 6 hours prior to my procedure. Ensure communication to patients confirm correct information, need to check patient notes on procedure carefully.
