Appointment to access GP

Since the covid 19 it’s extremely difficult to obtain a appointment to seek help from
The GP.
Some time it takes more than 2 weeks to obtain a appointment.
With in the first 10 minutes the receptionist are saying all the appointments have been given out.
I have experienced this problem myself on number of occasions and what about the elderly disabled and people who can’t speak the language
I strongly think patients should be able to walk in to obtain a appointment.
This is issue effecting the community across the board and should be addressed asap.
I worked all my life for the community and I do understand their concerns.
I would request you to try and ring the GP surgery anonymously for appointment and you will see the difficulty obtaining the appointment.
