Waiting over 9 months for follow up

I was referred to the urology department at Solihull Hospital by my GP. I was seen within two weeks and the initial appointment went very well. Tests were conducted and I saw the consultant. I was told that I would have a follow up appointment with the consultant within three months, but nine months later I am still waiting. I have contacted the department and they told me that the consultant has reduced their hours and I just have to wait. The wait is really frustrating and very concerning.

  • Where appropriate leave organisational contact details e.g PALS or patient engagement teams for people to get further information
