When I arrived at this hospital I thought I was in he'll, it is that bad.
Please please, do not let a loved one go into this godforsaken place. Within a week I saw the true colours of the staff, who are mostly of black African origin, it was said to me by a male member of staff that he could be quote ' very brutal' and that he was keeping an eye on me, which he later denied at an MDT, MEETING in front of psychiatrist, he also said he was talking to another patient,my reply was ' you addressed me '
Bullying and intimidation takes place on a daily basis, sadistic treatment of patients continues, ward manager does nothing , she is In charge of recruitment. I saw one young girl pinned up against a wall with a particularly nasty black nurse with her hands around her throat, I immediately got up and said ' get your hands off her 'she continued her grip around the girls throat, I shouted 'get your hands off her,' but she continued, pushing her face into the girls. I reported it, I was barred ,by two hefty health workers from going any closer.
The consultant psychiatrist an African man, insisted I had psychosis and was delusional, because I had called the police to my property on the 25th April of this year and I have been here since till a few days ago. I called the police because my sister was violent to me and she said she would kill me she knocked me over my settee and pushed me to the ground ,they took me straight to Ardenleigh Hospital larimar ward.
All I have ever suffered from is depression.
This is my only crime. The police did not question my sister ,they did not take a statement from me, they did not make enquiries even though valuables had gone missing from my home, and she was the only one with the key.
Also bank statements went missing (she opens all my mail) I am a grown woman.
I was raped when I was 13 years old, by several pedophiles which I told consultant psychiatrists at said hospital, I believe I suffered enough,because of this, I was offered no councilling, while there I contacted voiceability, and a loverly lady called sue put me onto another nice lady called Natalie a social worker who put in place a safeguarding order on my behalf because of institutional abuse and bullying by staff, she gave me the support I needed, if it wasn't for thes two ladies I would have gone under.
I managed to get to a tribunal with a solicitor (do not choose one from the list the ward gives you they are unobtainable and Unreliable),and you will get nowhere.
One other black health worker to watch out for, stares she intimidated me daily,staring menacingly after pulling her face mask down for 60 seconds at a time.
Finally, one morning I woke up covered in bruises and my bedroom door wide open, the ward manager suggested I had knocked myself ( in bed at night') beware of night staff, this happened again to me I took photos of the bruises on my phone, do the same.
The now Asian consultant psychiatrist, is a fantasist,and makes it up as she goes along .
Everyone is psychotic and suffering from a psychotic episode when it concerns misdemeanours by staff.
She is untrustworthy, and lacks integrity and empathy and compassion and intelligence to say what she is saying. I told my solicitor I would swear on oath and would do so.
One member of staff shoves you out the way, another goes deaf when you want your bedroom door opened or need the toilet.
On a happier note I would like to thank Sue, the cook, who made me cheese and tomatoe sandwiches on a daily basis, I managed to get to say goodbye to her and thank her with a small gift and card, also the cleaners Liz and friend for cleaning room, and offering few kind words, now and then ,and for not taking any of my belongings, unlike staff, (make up, ect)complaints forms, ect.
Also a mention to Letty for making us toast and cereal, without being rude, politeness costs nothing as these ladies know.
Just remember that God, or Allah, whatever your religion wishes to call him sees ALL and punishes ALL. Remember
