A disgrace
Oh well you did ask
My experience of Ardenleigh Hospital Kingsbury Road,Erdington ,B.ham. is it should be closed down. As I was escorted out of my home and humiliated in front of passers by, I don't mind anyone knowing who I am.
My expereience of Ardenleigh Hospital ,Larimar ward was as a patient from 25th April of this year till 4th September freedom day. I was held against my will there because I reported my sister to the police, because Bank Satatements ISA details a large Silver coin all went missing from my property without my consent or permission. My sister is the only one with the key, so I asked for it to be returned, she then knocked me over my settee, assaulting me violently, and said ill kill you I hurt my back in the assault.
My father was Chief Commandant of West Midlands Police Force for many years and had integrity and was highly regarded by his colleagues and respected and brought me up to tell the truth and for that, i was detained under the mental health act, i have committed no crime whatsoever.
I was brought to Ardenleigh Hospital on 25th April of this year, I wished to press charges for common assault against my sister also for the theft of valuables from my property, the police did not press charges for common assault or question my sister or investigate in any way.
Since I was there I found myself witness to much abuse by staff members, mainly of black African origin. 1 who 1 regularly pulls down her mask and stares at me menacingly for 60 seconds at a time to intimidate me ,this went on for many weeks, one male nurse said 'he could be very brutal '(in front of everyone). Also after I made a very long complaint 'that he was keeping an eye on me ' my reply 'I won't be bullied ' this he denied saying at patient/Dr meeting or MDT meeting. He said he was speaking to another patient, my reply was 'you were speaking to me ' One morning I woke up covered in bruises and my bedroom door wide open, the ward manager
said I must have( knocked myself in the night in bed). Unbelievable
I took photos of every bruise, please do the same on your phone camera, or whatever way you can, the camera never lies.
One incident which took place was when a young girl was pinned up against a wall, by her throa, by a particularly nasty nurse, I walked up and said 'get your hands off her ' she the nurse had her face in young girls face, threatening her, I shouted 'get your hands off her ' she would not release her grip. Two hefty black African origin health workers blocked my way.
This is one of many incidents I witnessed, I complained to Ward Manager and also to PALS my 10 page complaints form was never received by them.
Ward Manager is ultimately responsible at best she is compliant, indifferent to patients welfare concerns.
Ladies have to ask to go to toilet ask to make a drink ect bags are searched after outings, also visitors bags searched, everything personal on show.
Even pencil sharpeners removed.
Consultant psychiatrist is a fantasist, making it up as she goes along, everyone is psychotic or suffering from psychosis, the assault by my sister a delusion, and it never happened, brainwashing unsuccessful.
Also I was raped at 13 years old, at Criccieth, Porthmadog, North Wales. By pedophiles, this also never happened, Even though I wasn't under her care at the time or suffering any form of mental illness, at 13 years old I was supposed to be suffering from psychosis. ( the only thing I've ever suffered from was depression due too the rape.
All swept under the carpet yet again.
This is for jess apathetic who was found unresponsive in her room, in 2022, also another lady who ended her life by drowning herself after experiencing Ardenleigh Hospital Larimar ward's hospitality.
If it wasn't for Sue the cook or liz and friend, the cleaners, and Letty who managed to make toast and cereal without being rude, iwould not have survived.
I intend to go back and see ladies there with gifts, and give them the continuous support and confidence they yearned for, I am always there for them, and hope they can be discharged soon to carry on with their lives in peace.
Remember God, or God in another guise Allah, (in Muslim religion) sees all, and has the power to punish all wrongdoers. I hope they can take this upon their concience.
