Fantastic customer service

My experience with this pharmacy far exceeded the experience I had with my local pharmacy. I needed to collect a private prescription for a product I knew may be difficult to obtain. Firstly they actually answered the phone, within just a few rings, I had tried my local pharmacy for several days and not managed to achieve this. The lady I spoke to was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, she confirmed they could accept the private prescription, unlike my local pharmacy (for no obvious reason as I had all the information they needed to view the prescription and they had confirmed they did have the product in stock). Yew Tree unfortunately did not have the item, but checked all their suppliers then suggested I contacted the supplier to get the prescription changed to a larger sized pack that they did have in stock. Then at the last moment they realised they had just had a delivery and luckily for me the item I required was in the new stock! Having since been to collect the item I can see this is a very busy community pharmacy so I was even more impressed that they had taken so much time with my query. Well done and a huge thanks to all in the team who helped me out!

Alongside ensuring providers can have a fair say in discussions about their services, replying to reviews demonstrates evidence of responding to patient feedback for the CQC, who regularly monitor our Feedback Centre.   • Engage with the content of the review by addressing specific points and avoid cut and pasting a standard response
  • Don't disclose the service user's personal details or any potentially identifying information
  • Where appropriate leave organisational contact details e.g PALS or patient engagement teams for people to get further information
