Complaining about Omnia practice receptionist
I have an ongoing difficulty I have experienced when trying to book a GP appointment for my child who was unwell. On multiple occasions including 15 December and 19 December I attempted to make an appointment between 08:00 and 08:11. Despite calling within this time frame and trying on different days I was unable to secure an appointment. More concerning is the behaviour of the receptionist. Her attitude was unprofessional dismissive and rude. Instead of offering help or guidance she spoke to me in a very unpleasant manner which made an already stressful situation even worse. As a parent trying to seek medical care for a sick child this treatment is unacceptable. Because of these repeated issues it has become extremely difficult to access medical care at this practice. I am now seriously considering changing my GP due to the lack of support and the poor standard of service provided at the reception. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed promptly as patients—especially children—should not be prevented from receiving timely medical care due to administrative barriers or inappropriate staff behaviour.
