Time limit on how often you can be seen

I was referred as an NHS patient for ongoing pain in my shoulder. The initial appointment went okay and I explained that I'd had the same problem with my other shoulder and that an injection had sorted out the problem. They told me that they could do that but that I needed to have an MRI first. I returned two days later for the MRI which all went well but I have been unable to access my results. They have not sent them to my GP and I have called them and they told me that they cannot see me for six month. This does not seem right to me.

  • Where appropriate leave organisational contact details e.g PALS or patient engagement teams for people to get further information
