I don't have problems.
Can't get a appointment after 12.00pm. I work all day and I finish at 5.00pm in the evening.
I had cream for eczema and they wouldn't put it on repeat prescription because of the cost and call back when I need it. I called back and they said I would need to speak to a GP and then they finally prescribed it.
They're good and I can get appointments. They were good sending me to the hospital.
They're good. The give you a service and answer calls. They give you good prescriptions.
They're a nightmare. They have a massive 'god complex', the receptionists. You have to remind them that they aren't doctors and they should be helping. They have some nerve really. I had a bad chest and 111 told me to book a GP appointment, they said they didn't know why they had but eventually managed to find me one. I ended up being called an ambulance.
The GPs have taken great care and provided excellent support to my late father.
There is a young person taking bloods that is inexperienced. It has gone down hill in recent years. All receptionists are young. I have a designated GP but have to wait weeks to see them. You see a different GP each time and they don't know your history. Don't give suitable appointment times. I waited 12 months for needed tests. I was given a well woman check and they took blood and weight and that was it.
It's much better than my previous GP. We get appointments and see the GPs quite easily. Although I do have to wait a long time on the phones.
In regards to my menopause care, they messed up my medication and haven't had any for 3 weeks. I also went to my doctors with a lump in my breast and waited 8 weeks, I haven't been referred yet. Not too bad to get an appointment if I call before 8am, but it can be difficult getting up that time as the medication make me sleepy and drowsy.
Amazing the best care from this GP practice. I will never leave. They know me and my child well and always include us with our care.
I've been here ages they won't let me see a doctor. I need to change but have been waiting over a year. I had to self refer myself to the midwives because they were no longer able to come into the practice.
Bit slow in prescription services otherwise OK.
I tried to see my usual GP who has a good grasp on my health condition, but as was expected, he was unavailable. Instead I saw a different doctor who informed me that he had come from a hospital setting to that of a GP. I was somewhat perturbed as I found it difficult to hear what he was saying. I explained and he said he understood. Nevertheless, he continued to look at his computer screen while he typed, looking away from me the whole time. I attempted to explain that there were a couple of issues I needed to discuss with him, but he would not do so. I thus focussed on the main one - namely a sudden loss of weight, linked to an increase with problems passing urine.
I had lost around 20 lbs in five weeks and seemed unable to regain it no matter how much I ate. I was also experienceing greater difficulty in starting, continuing and finishing my urine stream.
He would not countenence further discussion, and said that he would refer me to the genito/urinary department for tests, and book a CT scan.
I have had the urine flow test, and more recently a CT scan. I'm waiting, worrying, about getting the results. The CT operative who administered the CT scan and to whom I spoke said that the results would be with my GP within 2 weeks. It's past that point now and I would be very grateful to know. I'm perhaps more than usual concerned because my wife's in hospital recovering from major bowel surgery.
Excellent service and friendly reception. Always able to get some sort of consult. Helped me with my mental & physical health.
The receptionists and doctors are very good and friendly, and usually see you quickly. One of the doctor usually keeps patients waiting over an hour and longer, the other doctors can see about 5 patients in the same time. I had a review, a few years ago and had to change my tablets, (I was on epilim and had to change, in case I wanted children) he got me to do a pregnancy test, ( I didn't particularly want to, as I knew I wasn't pregnant) and he didn't seem to believe me when I said I didn't need to take one.
