"Quite good"
Quite good and now there are more GPs, I get to see them quicker. I get appointments by going online and they call back. My daughter uses the system for us as we don't know how to do it.

Well we won't go there. I'm never really ill and don't get called in. Last time I called I waited an hour on the phone and when they answered they said I would need to speak to the hospital about my question. They have stopped the drop in prescription requests.
A very professionally run medical practice. The GPs and support staff are excellent.
Brilliant, no trouble. I can get appointments and the staff are nice. Mind you I'm very polite, which pays.
The GPs are brilliant and have been wonderful. They always see me when I need them. Book appointments online.
Very difficult to get an appointment and if you are lucky to get one you spend half the day in the waiting room.
Tried to get an appointment for my poorly 6 year old, on hold for nearly 1 hour both days to end up having to go to Katie road. The staff are unhelpful and have no care. Surgery has gone down terribly
They're okay. The receptionist was helpful the other day with the catheter order. She spent 45 minutes on the phone to get the order sorted. They have changed the system to do water samples and if we need one now we have to do a form online which wasn't the process before.
It's fine but they have new system now and I'm not savvy with computers and I don't have a smartphone so I just pop in.
I can never get an appointment at this surgery, the receptionists are fantastic, and do a brilliant job with their hands tied behind their back. However the practice management and decisions made are purely business and budget based, they do not have the patient at the heart of decision making. The system to book appointments is far from adequate and a text message in November to say that the way appoints are made is changing shows utter disregard to the patients in the Rubery community. I am fortunate enough to be able to obtain private medical care, but wholly disagree with having to take this approach as a tax payer and an advocate of the NHS.
The doctor told me to make a blood test appointment. I went to the receptionist to make an afternoon appointment because I work in the mornings. The last three blood tests was at 1:30 in the afternoon. Ask to make Appointments for the afternoon to be told they do not do appointments in the afternoon. I said would you like to explain to me why my last three appointments have been in the afternoon I don’t know I was told and you never had them in the afternoon, So got my phone out and showed her the texts of my appointments Leach Heath medical centre manager started arguing with me that they do not do appointments in the afternoon so I should have a phone and said why have I had the last three appointments for a blood test in the afternoon we don’t do them in the afternoon and I’m still showing on my phone. My appointment was in the afternoon after arguing for five minutes and I have an appointment at 1:30 pm. I’m absolutely disgusted with the manager who is obnoxious arrogant and a narcissist. At the same time, there was another lady who was a patient who was complaining about the manager and he’s going to also put a compliance team of how rude and arrogant she is. This is the second complaint I’ve made about this manager
A good service. I will give them 5 stars.
It was hard to get appointments before but now they have an app it's much easier. It takes a while for an appointment to get blood work done though. Also you can only talk to the GP about one issue each time.
Referred me for further tests. They are good and I can get appointments.
I'm not happy. Booking appointments is near impossible. They just tell me to call again.
Can often get same day appointments for children. Never had a problem with them.
The service is up to standard. The GP referred me for an ADHD assessment and I have been waiting 2 years.
They are trying to help but they need more staff, new doctors and nurses.
I had measles jabs there, one last week and one a couple of months ago. The GP is brilliant. They are excellent. I can get an appointment, no bother. Absolutely brilliant.
Doctor referred in November 2023 and had an appointment in February 2024. There is no continuity of care. You never see the same doctor twice. It's not a good service. The receptionists are gatekeepers.
Tricky to get an appointment. You call at 8AM and can't get through. You go into the practice and there is a queue out of the door and only a few slots available. When you do get through and get an appointment the care is faultless it is just getting appointments that's the problem.
GP is good now I have changed. They do everything to help, they are very good.
Not great. I couldn't get appointments. There are long waits on the phone. Then when you do get through there aren't any appointments. They then said we lived too far away and kicked me off their list. I wasn't given any further information we were just left to our own devices.
No appointments at all. Since 2021 there has been a lot of waiting for appointments. I am a teacher and its hard to get time off appointments. I would need to take the day off. It's not the GP clinic its the government. There's not enough funding for the NHS. My GP clinic is doing good but its hard to get an appointment.
GP is okay, but the reception staff are very rude and it's impossible to get an appointment.
First you don’t get an appointment and if you get one then you have to wait for ages for GP to call you in.
Can’t get appointments at all. No good.
They're crap for getting an appointment. They tell me to go online to book and all appointments are usually gone. I feel sorry for the older people, they won't be able to do it. You can do it on the phone but even then they're already gone. When it's the kids they'll say they only have emergencies and say it's not life threatening.
They are good and nice to me. They help me when I need to see a doctor. They are very nice.
My husband received a text from the surgery asking him to call make an appointment the doctor wants to see him, he phoned explained & got told he has to phone every day @ 8 am to try & get an appointment receptionist was not helpful conversation ended with my husband saying ok doctor wants to see me not the other way round, I have got her name for if or when husband hears again why hasn’,t he made an appointment & will be told
Go gave wrong advice, giving steroids when they weren’t needed. Then sent me to the acute unit at the hospital. The Consultant was not happy as he said there was a letter on file saying what they thought the problem was our surgery now is being run by recently qualified GP and due to inexperience are very worrying.
When two year old daughter is ill they see her on the urgent list to see her. Otherwise you call and you're 10th on the list and they cut you off. Long time to wait, have to call bang on 8 am - then you have to do the process all over again. Sometimes call and you get through. Never had any issues.
Stood waiting at reception 7 people in front while 2 receptionist continued their conversation with each other another was on the phone patients being totally ignored, I needed to speak urgently regarding a phone call from the hospital about my blood pressure who sent a letter to the GP regarding my drugs
Called the doctors when my mom fell over and banged her head. I didn't know whether it was a 999 emergency and didn't want to waste their time. Rang the doctors and they said well it isn't a GP problem take her to the hospital.
The NHS let my husband down. For 2 years I begged for help with my husband and they would not. He finally died last year in misery. GP surgery would not help I couldn't feed him properly he had seizures and falls.
Husband died last year. GP was not helpful in terms of help.
Hard to get into the doctors, can't get into my doctors. They do my medication review through and app. It's not sufficient. They send text messages about jab for the children but they're heavily reliant on technology.
Never had any issues managed to get appointments and make appointments. They give medication no problems.
They're a bit difficult to get through to, you're on hold for a long time and can't get appointments.
They are good, normally speak to receptionist.
My latest attempt to obtain a phone call appointment was a complete failure. I tried calling at 8am. The call takes you through all its option then you are forwarded to a record message telling you " due to a high number of calls you can not contact the surgery at this time" the line is dissconecte at this point. I tried again with the same result. It took me 14 attempts just to get in the queue, I was 8th in line. I was in line for 35 minutes until I eventually spoke to the receptionist who informed me there were no more appointments left. I explained that I had been on hold for 35 minutes. Her advice was to go down the surgery in the morning before 8am and queue up to speak to the reception in person. I explained I was ill with breathing difficulties and being out in the damp morning air made my condition worse. So I am in a catch 22 situation. I would like to know why it takes so long to get connected by phone and does the surgery get revenue from the call system. I would also like to know how many appointments are available each day. The way surgeries are working since covid is to to the advantage of the patients and seems heavily tilted towards lessoning the work load of the GP, s.
I've been with them a long time. Very good GP.
I am with them since long. All the nurses and GP’s are very good and listen to you and help you out all the time.
8 am on the phone waiting to be answered 2nd in the que ,phone is answered no appointments available where have they gone do they only have one appointment per day, are staff giving preferential
‘Call back at 8am tomorrow’ so you call back on the dot, just to be hit with another ‘I’m sorry we can’t take your call please come back tomorrow’ I have been trying for months now to get an appointment with the GP. There are people out there who need medical attention and they are just being neglected, surely there must be another way to book an appointment.
Very difficult to get an appointment, had lots of issues with rude receptionists.
Absolutely dreadful. You can never get through on the phone and when you do all they say is ring on the day! I don't want that I want to be able to make an appointment for the following week. If we operated this way in business we would loose all of our customers.
Can never get through on the phone for an appointment, in queues of up to 30mins only to be told no appointments left! Can't pre-book an appointment and I hate the fact the receptionists asks what's the appointment for? I'm sorry but that's nobody's buisness except MINE and my GPS!!!
Still operating telephone surgery, hard to get appointments with the one doctor who knows the family history, quick turnover of GPs passing through this surgery. Also patient has to tell receptionist what the problem is before appointments can be booked
Terrible. No face to face appointments. Phone appointments only by calling in at 8am, by 8.05 all gone! Even if you do get one you have to sit for a 4 hour window waiting for a call. Shockingly bad. Also suddenly changed 12 month medicine review to 6 months, and of course you can't get an appointment so can't get repeat prescriptions.
The GPs are generally ok (when you can see them) , but I am angry that 12 months into Covid you still cannot see a doctor, when the GP nurses and hospitals are working (I had a hospital appointment last week, and saw my surgeon in person). Also the phone appointments can be any time in a 4 hour period, so you have to sit and wait by the phone half the day (literally!) until you are called. Why can't phone appointments be in a half hour slot? After all, when you see a Dr you are given a 10 minute appointment time? Some of the receptionists are great, but others are rude, hostile and combative. I actually dread having to call the surgery and it makes me anxious. They often make mistakes and do not process repeat prescriptions correctly - I had one item I have regularly, and they claimed I hadn't had it for 5 years! They made me wait for a GP appointment (phone) the next day, and the Doctor said she didn't know why she had been asked to call me, as she could see I had a repeat 6 months' earlier.
Prize Draw Data
Truly awful, looking to move practices, I can't get an appointment for love nor money - one of the doctors is absolutely horrible too and I refuse to see her
Can't get an appointment unless you phone on the day. Then can't get through on the phone as lines are busy. All appointments are gone whenever you do manage to get through.
I have been a patient of the surgery for 17yrs and never had any problems or concern,I have and will continue to recommend the surgery to others.
I always found staff very helpfully from reception staff to back room staff they alway Been very helpful and the doctors are fantastic.
I have just been diagnosed with cancer and if it wasn't for my doctors professionalism and fast action and referring me for tests I have now been given a fighting chance to beat this. Without her I have been told by hospital within 12 months I would of been fighting a very different battle. Therefore I have nothing but praise for the doctors / surgery.
Keep up the good work
It is very kind for you to take the time and effort to provide us with positive feedback.
The staff and doctors find this very uplifting and appreciate receiving feedback.
