"Not great for appointment availability"
Luckily I do not have to use the GP very often because it's not a great surgery for accessing appointments. I have had my vaccinations there which was a good service.

My experience of this surgery is very mixed and it depends on who you speak to and which doctor you see. Some of the receptionists are not helpful and come across quite rude, and like they don't have time for you. Some of the doctors seem more caring and patient than others. I don't always feel satisfied with the service I sometimes feel quite fobbed off by them.
When you aren't at your best and call the one place that is supposed to help you. The last thing you need is some angry, superior person, being rude to you.
It feels nearly impossible sometimes to secure an appointment at my GP surgery. If you are lucky to get an appointment, they will normally make you wait for over 30 minutes. I feel they prefer some people over others and choose who will get an appointment. Some of the receptionists behave very rudely.
Didn't feel like I was being listened to. I told the doctors my issues and they were just prescribed me medication instead of listening to my actual problem which isn't helpful at all.
Receptionists were polite respectful, apart from rude patients, and what they have to put up with. They do an excellent job, nurse was brilliant one of the best blood test needles I've had, never felt any discomfort, nurse was great.
Never had a good experience at this surgery. It’s impossible to get an appointment. The reliance on the online booking system causes more problems than it solves and even though I should still be able to book an urgent appointment by telephone (stated on their website) admin staff continually refuse to do this. Shocking.
The service provided is fine.
Can't get an appointment here. Would rather die than go back there now. Robots telling you to use the online service whilst they check their nails and gossip.
I have received all the support I needed from the doctor I spoke to. Extremely friendly and courteous. I can't express my gratitude enough.
The pharmacist at the GP helps me with my medication for mental health. It keeps me at a certain level. They saw me last month and they will see me in a few months again. I find they are all I need to keep my mental health positive. It's been really really helpful to me over the past few years.
I feel like they have washed their hands with me. Nobody seems to be helping me. Seems like it's getting worse. The exercises make it worse. The doctor I saw the other day seems more considerate and gave me some gels and painkillers, they haven't done that before.
I went with a water infection and you never see the same doctor. I was offered therapy too but it didn't help.
Reception staff never share results on time, you have to chase them up.
GPs and nurses are good but you have to climb a mountain to reach them. Reception staff are rude and unhelpful. They try their best not to give you an appointment. Reception staff never share results on time, you have to chase them up.

My mom was referred to the QE for a cardiac issue.
My parents are with them and I can get appointments very easily.

You can't get an appointment. You have to wait on the phones from 8:00AM. Your number 48 in the queue. Your told to call emergency if its urgent. Too bad you can't see a GP if you need antibiotics.
They told me to book a double appointment for a medication review. I had a lump in my breast that I asked them to check whilst I was there and the GP was sharp with me and made me feel like a bother. They felt the lump and referred me on in the end.
It's okay there. I get appointments with different doctors but it's okay. If I don't see someone the next day they will call me or I will go in so it's fine. I will see someone eventually.
Lloyds direct ordered a prescription 2 weeks ago for my husband they told me to phone doctor as they not received it so I phoned doctors they said they had done it but haven’t only have 5 days of tablets left have this problem every time we need a prescription
Rubbish, can't get appointments. They say all back at 8:30am, can't just walk in and get and appointment. Pushing all appointments to Alum Rock GP, but they can't make the referrals because they are not my GP. They're all gone by 9am. Don't know my history and the time ends up being wasted, you just get nowhere, sent back to square one.
Tell me to go through the NHS 111 service. Gave me a 3 week course of medication and can be quite dismissive and no structure. No consistency about patients and continuity. I want a positive greeting when you call instead of sharp conversation when you call because with mental health, it can make you not want to go again.
At 8.30am on Monday I phoned on behalf of my Ukrainian house guest. It took a long time before I could speak to anyone but, once I did and explained the need, I was told a doctor would phone the same afternoon. That wasn`t convenient for my guest and so I was told a doctor would instead phone within 2 hours. He did and, as soon as he learned of my guest`s issue, even though it was not urgent, he told him to come to the surgery and he would see him immediately. This happened, with great friendliness the doctor carefully examined my guest, medicine was immediately prescribed and a referral immediately made to the EN&T team. This was faultless service.
They have gone downhill in all aspects especially in availability to offer appointments.
This surgery no longer has any resident doctors. Better off ringing 111 than trying to get an appointment there. The 111 service is far more efficient.
Reception staff are extremely unprofessional, they do not listen to you, talk over you & rudely interrupt you. The practice manager is completely incompetent. The surgery itself isn’t well looked after it is unclean. After spending hours on the phone trying to book an appointment get told to call back tomorrow to go through it all again if you attend in person you have to speak through a terrible intercom that is too low down and as it is on a busy road and Birmingham airports flight path you can barely hear what they say. The Practice is an absolute disgrace and needs to be shut down.
There is a very small window to book an appointment , you have to phone as soon as lines open after 1 min all calls are automatically ended.
Generally helpful.
They used to be a lovely family of Doctors who cared now they have people working there who don't appear to really care. For instance, I've been trying to get my Mother her vaccination for the last three weeks she is Bedridden and 88 I keep being told no one is available this Week-End our circumstances changed and my Brother was admitted to hospital I felt worried about my Brother coming home and maybe bringing Covid into our Home after his stay in hospital so I rang them once again having spoken to the Community Nurses and CCG they told me to tell the surgery my concern. I did and spoke to the Practice Manager who assured me Mom was at the top of the list and would be receiving the vaccination within the next two to three days if I haven't heard by Wednesday to ring them they are not usually available to speak too on a Wednesday its Tuesday night and I haven't been told anyone is coming tomorrow and I know I am just being fobbed off I asked about myself getting the vaccination being a paid carer and told I wasn't entitled to it yet knowing full well otherwise carers in a similar situation have already had it .I was told by the Practice manager I could go to the Aston Villa Ground and get it anyway or Millennium Point and sent me a link the link had no reference too either of these places so I looked them up as I am desperate to have the jab to protect my Mom, when I looked this up I couldn't get the vaccination at either of these places unless I had a NHS letter so the practice manager obviously hasn't a clue what she's talking about! She gave me a link to reply to her so I told her that neither of these were an option and I didn't think this is fair because if I get Covid who is going too look after my Mother?
Never had a problem at this drs always been helpful and listened to me
I'm a Diabetic and for 3 years this surgery has messed my prescriptions up.
I'm now looking for another surgery as the incompetence here is astounding
