"Been a patient since 1985!"
Im 46 now, been going to check ups at Maypole Dental Surgery since 1985. Was always very professional. I continue to go every 6 months on the NHS and staff turnover is high but understandable. However, recent years, every time I go, im challenged that I haven’t paid for my check ups, and have to prove on my credit card statements! This is offensive, I’ve never been able to leave the surgery without paying! Im proud to say that I’ve always attended my appointments but I now feel it’s all about the money. I’ve heard reception staff talking quite rudely to people in the past.

"Worst dental practice"
Absolutely the worst horrendous dental surgery I have been to. The receptionist is absolutely rude, arrogant with 0 manners. She gives dirty looks and talks down at patients shouting and screaming. She acts like she owns the place. No customer service skills at all. The owner is fully aware of how she behaves but does not care and is ignorant to her behaviour. If you are under the NHS don’t bother registering here as they don’t give you even the basic care under the NHS. They pressure and bully you to pay for treatments. This place is so unprofessional and a joke. Needs to be shut down as all it is a money hungry making business that wants to rip people off. They are doing a great job at bringing this place to shame. Thanks, you saved me spending my money with you. Believe the negative reviews I wouldn't be surprised if the positive reviews were fake.
"Unprofessional rude and arrogant"
I had an awful experience at this dental surgery. The senior receptionist is rude, arrogant and impolite. Made me feel very uncomfortable and pressured me into buying treatments everytime I attended.
The NHS care is non existent here. All they care about is making money. Would never recommend to anyone.

Very good too. I go every year, sometimes twice if they can fit me in and that works.

Fine. They're alright for me and they're helpful when I go. They said I would need braces but they never really followed it up as the wait is so long and they never made one.

Good dentist. They have good availability of appointments.

My mouth plate bridge fell out but she did a good job repairing it. They give you what appointments they've got, my time is my own.

We go and we do our 6 months check-up.
"Pretty good"
They're pretty good. I am able to get appointments with them but was told many years ago to go private with them or find another dental practice.
