"Negative experience with GP access delays"
I rarely see a GP at the surgery and my appointments are usually with an advanced practitioner. I can't book appointments in person or on the telephone anymore which is inconvenient. I find that actions are delayed at the surgery because of not seeing a GP and the follow on care is not great.

I have had a number of appointments with the physiotherapist at Marston Green Surgery. They are at the surgery every Monday. It's easy to get appointments with them and they have been really helping me in my recovery. A great service and very happy with the care I have received from them.

I require regular blood tests to monitor my long term condition but I have to constantly chase the surgery for appointments, which I find very frustrating.

I find the surgery fine. You have to request repeat prescriptions via the NHS App which I cannot do. I went into the surgery, and the receptionist was very helpful. When I explained that I cannot do it, she helped me do it.

I have been receiving follow-on care following a recent heart attack. I have regular blood tests at the surgery, but have experienced some difficulties with appointments being cancelled and rescheduled.

I am finding the new online system very difficult to use, and I have to get my son to do it for me, which can be difficult when he is at work. You get a call back from the surgery, but this is also a problem for me because I am partially deaf, which makes telephone conversations very difficult. I need to be able to go into the surgery and speak to someone face to face to book an appointment.

I managed to get appointments on two separate occasions over the Christmas period for my daughter. Both appointments were over the telephone which was fine for us and medication was sent direct to the pharmacy.

I contacted them about my pregnancy and was told to do a self referral. I received a scan appointment by email for the following week. The online form was simple and easy to follow. It was all fine, never had problems getting appointments.

Marston Green Surgery provides a good service. I have no problems getting urgent appointments when needed. They have recently referred me and I had an appointment come through quickly. They are good with the children too I never have issues getting the children appointments when needed.

Accessing appointments here has become an issue recently. General appointments are not easy to get. Despite this, the doctors are adequate and I've not had any issues with them. The reception team are also very friendly but they can't always help when there just aren't any appointments.
