We see the nurse there every three months and the consultant came out to our house to see my wife. When I call them they tend to get things done quite well.
Been ever so good to me. I can call when I need them.
It took 6 months to get an appointment. The nurse took the findings to the doctor and was diagnosed with vascular dementia without any supporting scans.
My husband was diagnosed with a rare type of dementia in 2022. We waited 6 months for a phone call, they called my husband who had potentially got Dementia/Alzheimer's. They asked him if he was okay, he said yes so they weren't going to follow it on. I got back in contact with them and they came to our house to do an assessment and gave him a diagnosis.
this service needs improvement the consultant needs changing. some staff are good but rest no good and have no compassion for bad mother mental health. previously use to be good but since the current Dr make choices it's become no good service she has lack of understanding and makes her own decisions no regards for patients needs or wishes or choices. she will say to patients you choose but she will restrict there choices to what she wants and according to her you either take that or get nothing. we have experienced very bad service from them. always blame patients for eveything will not take responsibility of own failures.
