We have a GP and a paramedic. The nurse only does the blood tests etc. They just tell you to take antibiotics. Not efficient at all.
Always quick to get through and get back to you but a long wait on the phones in the morning. I can get same day ones and the staff are good.
I went in with swelling and they gave me a letter to take to the hospital and so I went straight to AMU. That is brilliant.
My cancer journey started with my GP. I spend weeks trying to get appointments with my GP over a period of nine months. This was for a persistent sore throat/suspected tonsillitis/throat infection that would not resolve after repeated and numerous treatment with different antibiotics. I was also telling my GP how rundown I was and how tired I was all the time. Refusing to give more antibiotics and telling me it was an unusual but long-standing persistent viral infection that would not respond to antibiotics. I spent a week upset and unhappy and went back to the GP practice and demanded that some type of assistance or help was given. On this occasion, a different GP made a fast track referral.
What went well with the service was in the end I was given a fast track referral. What didn’t go well at the GP service was the extended unacceptable length of time it took For a referral elsewhere to make further investigations.
I was with this surgery for many years and they were excellent.
They follow up things really well. They sent a dementia review without us prompting him to go through the appointment afterwards. I don't think the questions they ask really test his memory but they do follow up well.
Very good, no issues. I don't use them all the time but they are polite and are helpful. Very good.
They have started to say they are having a high number of calls and to call back later. Then you call back and there aren't any appointments. You have to wait in a queue of 17 people to even get through to someone first.
It's very difficult to get an appointment and they don't answer the phones.
We are quite happy with the quality of service provision.
They're okay, small and friendly surgery. It's easy to get an appointment. The doctors are nice, approachable, they listen and don't make you feel silly. Generally nice staff.
The doctor ignored my issue and insisted on another diagnosis. I was wrongly diagnosed because they didn't listen.
They're usually really good. They keep on top of my care. Really good. Really happy.
I found lumps in my neck and the GP referred me onto the hospital for tests. A very good GP.
Difficult to get appointments but the doctors are very caring and provide good support.
I've been with them since I was younger and they were good. Since moving house we were out of area so ended up moving surgery. They were brilliant, I was sad to go.
I've been trying to get an appointment for 2 weeks. I was concerned that my symptoms could be a stroke or I didn't know whether it was headaches. So I still have the same symptoms and I have not been seen.
They are okay. There’s only one doctor who’s a bit miserable, but others and receptionists are good. They have referred me for several things and often there hasn’t been long wait. I can get appointments too which is great.
No problems, they referred me to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
There is not enough facilities for my condition, that is why I have been travelling for three years from Birmingham to Stockland Green Clinic to get my treatment done. I have to catch three buses to go there and back, which is really difficult for me to travel every two weeks and it costs me to get a taxi. That is the reason I am not happy about the medical centre in my area.
Helped sort out blood samples and appointments with Good Hope
The staff here is irresponsible, doctor's orders or management policy not sure, one cannot see doctor if any concerns even if it is urgent will make you wait. Telephone lines are always busy as if they put down their recievers aside or not in proper position.
Great swift service felt safe and secure everyone was professionally including the volunteers which was very reassuring.
Very well organised and looked after while having my vaccine
Fast efficent caring reassuring
In and out not much care for patients. When it comes to mental health they don’t refer you.
