"You call over and over again"
Hard to get appointments, you stay on the phone for 40 minutes and then tell you to call again. You do it over and over again.
Hard to get appointments, you stay on the phone for 40 minutes and then tell you to call again. You do it over and over again.
Been a year since I could go into the GP. I need to call them as I can't do it online. They don't answer the phone. It's always busy and fully booked. There is nobody in there working. The building is beautiful but the staff don't do their jobs. I went in and they said they could see me at 11:30 am so how can they say they're fully booked on the phone.
Very worst. Always fully booked. When you go they are always booked. Always busy. I think they switch off the lines.
The receptionist need to answer the calls. One receptionist sits there doing nothing and I seen her turn her phone off. Appointments are always being mixed up and cancelled. HCA is doing nurses jobs which she shouldn’t be. Reception still there gossiping.
They take a long time to get appointments and I have to do it online and click the link.
Five stars for excellent care and treatment.
Literally never ever get an appointment.
Phone up
Call us at 8 tomorrow because obviously you haven't got a job...
Phone at 8 the next morning, you're in a queue
All appointments have gone
I've got medical issues with diabetes and I work 2 jobs, and they could not care less about ever getting to see a doctor. Fifth day in a row now .
It's quite good. They will give you an appointment 3 weeks away but if it's urgent they will give you an earlier one. I asked for a prescription and it was done within 48 hours. I have no problems with them.
They're okay but not the best. They have so many doctors but I like to see the same one. The GPs don't take down the correct information or they are locums which means treatment can be missed.
They're rubbish at giving appointments. They sent my son to another practice. Always reluctant to see him. The reception staff make it difficult.
Quite nice. The receptionists are lovely and I feel they have time for you. I have seen the paramedic and the doctors and they have always been really good. They listen and help me.
I had an issue with my hand and they referred me onto the hospital within 2 weeks. The appointment was given to me quickly and I felt listened to.
When I request to see a certain GP they will do that for me. The links to book appointments works much better than the old system.
Excellent GPs and very helpful reception staff.
My doctor is 10/10 and always treats me well.
There is a complete lack of communication between GPs and patients. Reception team think they know more than the GPs. They ask so many questions which only a GP should ask.
It's very difficult to get an appointment. The Doctors and nurses are very helpful.
Getting an appointment over the phone is very difficult. Most of the time I personally have to come and try to get an appointment.
You have to chase your results all of the time. They don't call you to let you know that your tests results are back. They don't pick the phone or reply to emails.
I have been using this GP practice for over 5 years. They changed recently. It's good as the new system means I don't have to call in the morning to get an appointment. I am happy with the new system. I prefer to see the same GP but you see different ones each time you go. They do treat me well and I ma happy with the quality of service by the doctors.
I am happy with the appointment system. The staff and receptionists are very helpful and friendly. I see different GPs each time I come which is annoying. I have to explain my history and condition every time and they only give you 10 minutes. I'm then rushed out. Parking is good here.
I have been using the service for over 2 years. I fill in a link and they get me an appointment very quickly.
Reception are okay but it's hard to book appointments. I waited a long time in the phone queue. GPs rush you they don't spend enough time with you. I also get different GPs all of the time. I have been waiting 7 weeks for results of my bone marrow biopsy and they haven't informed me of the results yet. I have to call and keep chasing them.
It's very hard to get an appointment. They send me a link when I phone them. I had to wait a long time to receive the link as I had to call them. I always see a different GP every time too. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Initially we try to book appointments online. I had to come into reception as they said they didn't get a form to book one. The receptionists are helpful.
I have been using them for more than ten years. I call at 8AM to get a link. If they can send the link without phoning that would be better. After the call once I get the link it's straightforward and easy to get appointments.
I'm quite satisfied with them. I get appointments easily. They are amazing with my children and myself. They are very understanding and lovely. I have the same doctor, health officer and midwife. I have mental health challenges but they are so brilliant at addressing my situation. All the staff are great.
I have been here 10 years and it was good from the beginning when I was able to see a doctor but now it is very challenging with all the different doctors and having to tell my story over and over again about my diabetes. The appointment availability is getting better now since being able to complete the form. Getting appointments is good unlike before.
Long waiting times as I have been waiting for CBT therapy for over a year. I have been unwell with my mental health as I have been through a lot over the past 5 to 6 years and I have not been able to access a specialist yet. I have also been referred to have checks on my liver. Some doctors here are good and some are bad. Some doctors don't listen.
Easier than before as it now has a new online booking system. It's easier to make and get appointments. I don't have to queue anymore and I always get an appointment. The receptionists and staff are okay. There are no problems. A really good practice that is much improved.
Very good receptionists and doctors. Very helpful, even the doctors are nice. I ring them and they send a link or text message. If they have multiple appointments they will call to see which is the best one.
It's been quite good. The appointment is going well. They are well organised. It is spacious and it has good parking. Staff are great, they see you as quickly as possible. Doctors are very nice and helpful. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They are also good with my daughter.
Very good. You get appointments easily. The doctors are good, they know what they're doing. Very good at communicating with you. Just excellent.
The doctors and surgery are nice but the appointment system needs to be changed. The online booking system is difficult to access. Sometimes the internet is down. It's difficult for those who work nights to get an appointment. They should make the system more flexible. The surgery is also just being taken over by new management and it's too early to comment on them. They've started with the new online system which has caused some not to access appointments. The service should be made available to everyone. Staff are good however.
Most of the time I come for blood tests. I am an asthma patient and sometimes it isn't easy to get an appointment. The doctor is very good. I have seen the same doctor for the last 3 appointments and it's been great. Doctor is doing blood test to monitor the condition as I have been frequently unwell with high fever, loss of appetite. The monitoring is to get a diagnosis. The doctor is doing great. They are good with me, listen and engages with me with my treatment plan. It is only the appointment system, the online booking that is the issue.
Triage can be quite complicated and it's not guaranteed you will get an appointment. With phone calls they used to let you know straight away. This appointment was pre-booked today so it was easier but usually you have to go through that process and it's not guaranteed, depends on availability that day. If there isn't any then you have to fill form in all over again the next day. It's also a struggle to get blood tests as well. I have even paid privately to have them done one time as I was so poorly.
Very good. The service is good. The doctors and receptionists are very friendly and very good to me. Before I used to have to download the app which made it difficult to make an appointment but they have gotten better.
I find it difficult to get appointments. Sometimes it can be quicker to get an appointment and sometimes it takes longer, like a week. When you call up you can be waiting an hour on the phones. If you want a quicker appointment you have to come in person. The receptionists, nurses and GPs are all good. It has changed recently and it has become a bit easier.
The GP claimed they haven't been contacted by Northcroft about adjusting my medication. I have never seen a GP face to face. The service is not all that.
The midwives stay the same, very consistent. No complaints there. The surgery has recently been taken over and I was told a month beforehand via text message. Accessing appointments has never been an issue.
We have been using this place for nearly 2 years. It's easy to get an appointment when I compare it to my previous GP. I prefer to fill out the online form. After I fill it in and if it's for my baby I will get an appointment for the same day. If it's for me then within 2 days. It is never too long. Waiting to go in is fine, usually 10-15 minutes. The staff and doctors are all nice. I have one problem and that is the locum doctor. They are rude and rushed my baby's appointment. The usual doctors are great. Parking is okay but sometimes it's hard to find a space.
My wife helped me to register here. It's my second visit to see a doctor. My wife helped me to book an appointment today. I got it pretty quickly. I have to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seen. All the staff are good. Its is my first appointment with a lady doctor. I had a telephone appointment for bloods. She didn't explain everything. I am not happy about that incident. I forgot what happened exactly. The parking is okay here.
I have been here since 2018. I prefer to call for appointments. I don't like this new online triage thing. It's a long process then I have to come to the doctors then I have to go for an appointment. If I am working then it's hard to get an appointment. There should be a way of telephoning and then they can give a slot more easily not time wasting by filling forms in then coming in and talking with a doctor. This is not a simple thing and it should be a straightforward thing. Waiting time is good as you rarely have to wait. They are fast and I am grateful that you can see the doctor.
I have been using this place for 1 year. It's good. I booked the appointment by phone. I call sometimes at 9:00 am and I get appointments. Me and baby are both registered here. Staff are good and kind. Everything is clean including the washroom. They call me in to be seen quickly, a maximum of 10-15 minutes.
I have been here a couple of times. I am an interpreter. The staff are nice. The parking is good. The waiting times to be called in are very quick.
I have been using this place for the last 7 years. It has been very difficult to get the appointments here. I prefer online appointments as you have more chances of getting in that way. Last time I waited about half an hour. Normally it's 20 minutes and they call me in. The receptionists are good. The doctors are not good. They are a waste of time. They don't understand my problem. Their diagnosis isn't the best and they rush me. They don't give me solutions.
I've been using this place for more than 9 years. The doctors are really good. If the locum doctors are there they treat you badly. They are always unprepared and don't read patient notes. They don't understand the complications properly and they give different medication. Most of the time the permanent doctors are here but if they aren't and it's the locum doctors we try to avoid them. All the other staff and the practice manager are very good. They listen to our problems attentively.
I have been with them for the last 10 years. Reception staff, GP and nurses are all very good and helpful. Appointments are always available when needed.
Always given appointments on time. The staff are very friendly.
I will give them 3 stars because at times I have to wait for a long time to get an appointment.
The new system of booking an appointment online is very difficult for me. My daughter who lives in Dudley books all online appointments for me.
Easy to see the nurses but to see a doctor you have to wait for a few days. In an emergency I can see a doctor straight away.
Pretty good. If you call at 8:00 am you will get an appointment. The staff are good and doctors are good too.
I can't see any doctors. I waited 2 years for a referral and then you don't hear anything, you go for an appointment and they don't follow up. My son has tonsillitis and every month they give antibiotics and say he will be seen by the Children's hospital. I am still waiting for the referral
If I want to make an appointment there are no appointments. It's always like that. Sometimes I go to the reception at 8:00am and they tell me no doctors in so there are no appointments today. I missed an appointment during covid due to having covid infection and they didn't give me further appointments. They change the doctors all the time. I never have the same doctor. Every time I have to repeat the same story. I wasn't happy so I changed my GP.
Could do better with appointments. Maybe you don't need one for the same day but they force same day on you. Nobody answers at 8:00am. How am I expected to call if nobody answers.
It is hard to get an appointment. I'm not very good with computers. So I prefer calling in. It's a big building but its empty. There is a lot of space that they could use for community space for something like a community café or charity with tea and coffee. It could be used for a lot more.
It's hard to book appointments. You can call in the morning at 8:00am and it is always engaged. Then later they answer and tell you there isn't any appointments. I can't do the online form filling thing. I prefer to call in the morning. Sometimes I go in to reception to book an appointment, some days I get one and sometimes I have to go back in the next week.
Good GP. I can do it all online over the link. Before I used to come in at 8am to book an appointment at the desk but you can't do that now which is slightly frustrating. The staff are good.
I go online and fill in the form and wait for them to contact me. It's all easy. the nurse who took bloods was very good. The staff are really really good.
Rather than speak to someone like it used to be and choose an appointment as sometimes they don't suit, you have to wait hours on the phone. It can be hit and miss. I waited 40 minutes in the queue. I am struggling with my mental health and it took 3 days to get through and once I explained that my partner took his own life they then offered me an appointment. But it shouldn't really take that to be offered an appointment.
I phoned for an appointment yesterday and they made one for today. They have been good so far. For my sister they do a home visit and organise for her to see the doctor that way.
My daughter has ADHD and Autism. They listen but they don't' do anything. When my kids get sick school tells them to come to school. My GP isn't giving me a sick note for them. My daughter is already missing lots of school. I am waiting on a referral for appointment to see a specialist. They have said the referral onto the service will take 1 year. She is missing lots of school already and there should be a shorter waiting time for an urgent referral. They know there is an issue so it should be a shorter wait.
Appointments before were easy to get over the counter but now when I am calling its always busy during mornings. Its very hard to get an appointment. You keep calling when you need one but there's no slots for that day but some for the next day. Even when I see the GP I can only talk about one thing but it can be linked to 2 or 3 problems. This is unfair. Sometimes people are dying as well waiting for GPs and then the hospital. Its long waiting times.
My baby is just 6 months old. I prefer to call to get the appointment. I have got the baby and it's hard filling in the online form. Once I filled the online form today I got the appointment the same day. I normally call and book but this is new.
When you come here its generally good. I prefer phoning them. The staff are good and waiting time is okay.
Good. Generally helpful. Monday is busy. Its online now and you have to fill the online form in then they allocate the appointment. I prefer this way rather than waiting on the phone line. Parking is always easy. Staff are always helpful.
I like to call to get an appointment. Now I have to call and they send an online link via text message and I need to fill it in. They only allocate the appointment then. I prefer to call and book one straight away. The waiting time is okay and the staff are good. Its a 5-10 minute wait and then I am always seen. Parking is good. I have no issues.
I don't like the whole online form. I don't think its appropriate. My older grandparents would not be able to use the online service. I waited on the phone for 25 minutes and was told to put the phone down and fill the online form in. I have dyslexia so my mom helped me do it. I am not a fan of the new system. The doctor is lovely, They have time for you. She understands. I have never had any issues with reception staff. They have always been nice and polite. The one nurse if not so good. My nan had sepsis and couldn't wait and she told her she needed to have patience. She ended up in hospital later that day.
Good service. It is pretty easy and they said they'd make a referral onto another service but they never did. They said I would have to speak to the school and get them to do it. My child is always sick and cannot go to school and the doctor wont give a doctor's note.
They tell you that you can only speak about one issue during the appointment. You have 10 minutes and they won't let you talk about more than one thing. It's is very wrong and makes thing difficult.
I love this surgery. It's been brilliant. I was here in the patient participant group as well. I prefer the link which takes you to appointments but that might be hard for the older people.
It is very quiet. I can always get an appointment. Its annoying that you have to book it online and no option to go to the desk because I have been told you wont get one that way and to do it online but I do it for dad as he wouldn't be able to do it himself. The waits are long to see the GP whilst in the surgery. There's no one else here.
Its good. They gave me the appointment quickly, its normally the second day. I like the new online form. It is easier rather than calling in the morning. The waiting time is less and they call quickly. They do Saturday appointments which is really good. Then I don't have to pick my daughter up from school.
Really good. I never have any problems. When I call most of the time I get an appointment on the same day. Everybody is kind.
I like the new system. They've changed it to a link on a text and you can send pictures on an online system. They gave good advice. I do think under a certain age or over pensioners should be able to call. They are never on time. 20 minutes late. If I say its for my daughter they will prioritise under 2's or kids.
I call them sometimes and its busy. I had to wait for a week for today's appointment. Its a blood test appointment and I had to call them. The staff and services are good.
Its very difficult because you have to fill out a survey first and then wait from there. You have to wait for a call or a text and they will give you an appointment that might not be appropriate and means you have to cancel other things to attend.
I have found it okay so far. There is a few changes to accessing appointments online, which worked this time round. I'm not sure how well the system would work if someone was really ill though.
Its not easy to get an appointment. My first appointment I got within a week. I prefer the new online form. I had to wait for 1 week for my blood appointment today. I do home remedies sometimes as its hard to get appointments. The staff are good.
Reception staff are very helpful and try to resolve the issues relating to prescriptions and appointments very quickly.
I rarely go there but when I have used the service they were good and helpful. Especially during covid for the jabs.
I like going there because staff are very nice and supportive.
Been coming a couple of years. It can be a bit difficult over the phones trying to get through and book an appointment but that's like most of them. You can get through and there's no appointments but that's like most of them. Had an appointment today and GP has forwarded us onto the hospital again for tests with daughters stomach.
You call at 8am and you don't get an appointment. All gone by 8.01am but I came down and they gave me a same day appointment. Gave me an appointment for physio. I asked to book an appointment for an MOT but they don't do future appointments. I did ask the doctor and they sent me a letter saying I could book and then when I called they gave me one.
I like it there. I wouldn't want to change. I don't mind travelling. Can get appointment. You can call up to get an appointment and can see whichever doctor. They are all friendly. I like how they send text messages to remind you about appointments.
Last year there was different management and it was hard to use the service but new management have taken over and it's been better. Happy with the new management and doctors and staff are good. I have constant appointments and GP will book further appointments for me. The only feedback would be to have more people answering the calls in the morning or introduce online appointment system.
I love this place. Won't move from here. Yes okay it's hard to get an appointment but they usually give them the same day. They also have a triage service and if they can't give you an appointment here they'll give you one for Washwood health medical centre. Come every 12 weeks for B12. They book it in for me.
I don't come here very often. Only issue is I couldn't get through on the phones. Came in at 8am this morning. Even though the receptionists were answering calls, once they had finished they spoke to me and offered several on the day appointments at different times. I was given an option. No issues with the service
Fairly good. I come in early to get an appointment. When you call the queues can be long and you don't get through. Staff are quite nice and helpful. Doctors are good. Were lucky.
They're good. I only come if I need help. It's hard to get an appointment as it's always busy but I can get one if I come in. Came in today to order a repeat prescription and they sorted it for me and I also needed an appointment and they gave me one the same day.
I came to register as a new patient but I was told that the surgery is no longer taking patients. The receptionist was great and told me about local practices closer to me. It does say on the website that they are accepting new patients.
They're quite good. They do a bit of both with appointments over the phone of face to face. I kept the phone calls because that's all that's needed, it's common sense. They give me the option of seeing my regular GP or they will offer for me to see another doctor at a different time. The GP referred me on for an ENT appointment in February and I've not heard anything since, but they did prewarn me it would be a bit of a wait.
It’s a good practice staff are alright. It’s very difficult to get to the doctor. You can’t phone for the appointment or pre book an appointment. You have to physically go up there to follow up with a GP if you have previously had an appointment. It’s a nightmare, see nurse for diabetics check.
They're okay with me with my long term issues. They see me and prioritise my care I think. I don't have any issues really.
I do think they can take ages to answer. I do call them at 8:30am and it takes ages and then there might not be an appointment so I try again the next day. It's a hard job.
I phoned up to arrange a blood test and had to wait. Once I had it done they said it would be 2-3 weeks before I'd have my results. You just end up spending time waiting for everything.
I can get in okay. They're good, despite them saying they're busy.
Okay, I can get appointments but takes a long time to get to number one and then sometimes they don’t answer, so I call 111.
I had my booking appointment with the doctor. It was good, but took a long time to book in.
Hard to get through on the phones to make an appointment. You get through and they say there are no appointments left and to come to the surgery at 8am. You get there and there are lots of people waiting so you might not get an appointment. It needs to be more efficient and quick.
It's pretty good. I can get appointments when I need them.
Always able to get an appointment and its just 5 minutes away.
During GP appointments you can’t discuss multiple issues, only one issue per appointment is allowed which is frustrating.
Very good. Doctor came to our home and gave us both jabs.
Impossible to see a doctor in person, certain receptionist is very rude.
Treatment of my mother who has heart disease, diabetes and osteoarthritis . Very attentive, explained the use of meds and the possible side effects. Adjusted dosages when necessary.
Thankfully I don't use it much and have no complaints about the service I have received. BUT it would be good to be able to make an appointment for within the following couple of days rather than having to scramble first thing in the morning for one that day. It would certainly help people who work or have to get children to school.
First instance I got sent to A and E without even a consultation, 2nd time I tried I couldn’t even get to speak to a doctor told to try the Livi app count speak to them for 5 days tried doctors the day after and kept getting cut off amounts was busy ?needed to discuss my son's mental health which has been an ongoing condition that they are well aware of.
There are supposed to be 4 Drs., to 4,500 patients, but only ever 2 on duty. Impossible to build a rapport, with one GP. Do their Drs. all work only part-time? It's such a waste of a well-equipped building, and puts our health at risk (especially those with serious health problems ie. heart or other chronic problems).
