"Waiting for a GP letter"
I am waiting for a GP letter to be sent to me so that I can open a bank account as I need a proof of address and the bank said they will not accept a tenancy agreement as proof.

I have been with this GP for 4 or 5 months but have not had to go in yet as I am in good health. It was easy to register with them. I received a letter and an email from them recently inviting me to go for a smear test.
I also have had great communication with Halcyon GP, who are on track with my appointments. They were kind enough to offer me Metformin which has been a real life changer, and has helped massively with my insulin resistance , leading me to lose 4kg in a month and a half along with exercise.
They’re okay, I don’t have any problems but for my daughter they wanted to check for a skin problem and then they said it was an infection. For younger people, I feel like its not helpful and it takes a long time and can be difficult to get leave from the boss for an appointment, so have to get a private appointment.
Sometimes there is a wait for appointments. There is a total lack of connect between GP and hospitals. I feel like the GP does not let the hospitals know anything. I had a 10 minute slot at my appointment with the GP to ask why I hadn't been referred for my hip condition after going in four times to talk about the symptoms and not the condition. I still do not have a diagnosis. It is very poor in general. They do not listen and diagnosis is very poor. It has to get worse before it gets a referral. There is a total lack of understanding at first contact.
Practice nurse did my baby vaccination, she was awesome, very fast. my baby didn't cry!!!!! Love her
Almost impossible to see the same GP twice. Establishing a new relationship every time and sometimes it’s doesn’t go well. It’s very stressful. Waiting MONTHS for hospital appts and tests. Just self-funded a coronary CT scan after being told I had a 6 month wait and paid to see my NHS consultant because my next appointment with them was in Jan 2026. It’s awful!
Hard to get an appointment on the same day. Easy for little ones but its hard for myself and husband it's very hard so we just treat ourselves.
Generally fine, it can be a struggle to call them as you have to do it early in the morning.
I had an issue with my chest and they referred me to the chest clinic quickly. I was seen here face to face too.
Apart from getting appointments, everything else is excellent. Staff, nurses, GPs, reception team are all very good.
It's really hard to get appointments. I have always waited a long time. Overall, I'm not satisfied with them.
Lift up to the surgery has been out of service for for over a month now. I need a cervical screening as per the national campaign and am a wheelchair user. The lift being out of service means I will not be able to get the vital screening. When I asked for alternative places I could get screening they would not help
Last month I went for an appointment and had an ECG. There were a few things off so they referred me onto Enki cardiology for further tests. You usually have to call them at 8:00AM to get an appointment here. That works for me.
I got an appointment for my daughter easily. I had a face to face appointment as she doesn't eat. The GP made a referral that happened very quickly.
I don't use them that often but I have been a few times. I try not to go.
Reception staff don't want to give you an appointment. GPs don't want to refer you to services. I give them 2 stars.
I registered last year and used them once. They were very good. Very helpful. I called them and it took a while to get through but I was seen in person.
I don't access them regularly but there is always a struggle to access them. Like getting an appointment. You call them at 8:00 - 9:00am and your put on hold. After 9:00am there are no appointments available. It takes 7 days for blood tests results to come back.
We received a GP link to register online. This was completed in September and it has been over a month and we have had no contact from them. I got the email with a reference number. No NHS number yet. We got cold symptoms last week and we didn't know what to do.
I registered on 16th September and since I had had no confirmation. On the website it says that new patients are3 welcome but after filling it in from the link I have had no information from them. I had a sore throat and had to go to a walk in centre but I can't remember the name of it.
5 stars so far.
I tried to register with them and they said they have a high level of patients and to register with another practice. It's taken roughly 12 weeks for them to get back to me and let me know.
I went in September 2022 for registration. I filled out the form. When I followed it up they had lost the form. Then they lost the online application. The whole year I paid a fee for health care as a student. I didn't end up being registered until August 2023. I did multiple follow ups and they said it would be done. You lose patience when calling them and they don't answer. It's very frustrating.
I don't need to use them that often. I don't have the time but if I needed to I know I can get an appointment.
They are really good. I am able to get an appointment when I need one. I phone them to make and appointment and I can get through to them. They referred me onto a counselling service but it wasn't what I needed.
The registration process was okay. The questions are not specific. If you have mental health conditions such as anxiety, they did not ask that. It is very generalised. They sent a link to register documents and now I'm waiting for my NHS number.
Great, they're really good. For son, it's easy but for us can be a little harder. It's reasonably easy, if you need an appointment, you will generally get one.
I'm really anemic. I was sent for an ultrasound scan due to my symptoms, it was a quick referral. They're better than other GP's. They have tried to help with calling the hospital, but they've got nowhere either.
Takes forever to get an appointment. It’s better with my child but difficult for adults. You call at 8am its long waits after which receptionists answer and then there are no appointments. Then than will call you to say, you need to make an appointment to discuss tests and I am like I have been trying for days.
The doctor had the cheek to tell me I was dead. I am still looking for a solictor
No appointments at all. I have been trying to call them since last week. Don’t know how to contact them.
I feel it's good when they work face to face. During Covid they were working online it was not that good to see a doctor online.
Some great GPs, but it's difficult to see them without knowing the 'tricks' to get an appointment. Fortunately I can book online at 08:00:01 but otherwise I'd be stuffed. Remote services have been good, and the location in the city centre is ideal. Overall a good practice.
The telephone numbers mentioned on their website are not functioning. Unable to book appointments online or contact them.
Most staff I have seen have been caring, thorough, and professional. The centre has the same kind of issues as most GP practices: not all staff are as caring and professional as others, it's difficult to get an appointment; they are often running late. However, I have received mostly compassionate and exceptional care, so I can be patient with the parts that are not so great.
Nurse had terrible attitude, didn’t seem to know what she was talking about and kept changing her diagnosis. Whenever I asked a question or mentioned something she would say “not my problem”. Not something you want to hear from a healthcare professional. Appalled at the service
I had an accident and the ambulance attended and discharged me with the excuse that I was well enough.
I began to feel severe pain so I called my GP. I could not get through because it was the weekend. I attended my GP's appointment and he referred me to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I was attended to two weeks after the accident.
I did not receive a prompt and good service, I am still in pain.
