My mother has extremely challenging behaviours due to her condition of severe dementia. The staff at the nursing home have managed to build excellent relationships with her and understand her needs exceptionally well.
The staff are friendly and attentive and genuinely care. The home Manager, contacts me regularly to update me on my mom's care plan and her general wellbeing.
Happy with care.
If I started writing about this home I would never be able to stop . I could even give them the title carehome as they don’t know how to do so . The treated my father in law and my family appalling and contributed to his death . They are a disgrace and should be closed . I have video evidence of my father in law struggling to breath which lead to him dying 2 weeks later . They refused to check his sats and breathing and asked me the question , would you rather him die here or die in hospital ? I visited him a few weeks earlier and his legs were swollen . Again I took pictures and asked them to call a doctor , they refused ‘ . The next he was admitted into hospital with an infection in his foot . He lost 1.5 stone in less than 4 months and had 7 falls , resulting in concussion and stitches in his eye . I could write a book in this home . They are a disgrace
My mum has been here for a year. The staff are amazing and kind and nothing is too much trouble. The new manager is absolutely fabulous and the food is spetacular and plentiful
My father came for end of life care and we were allowed to bring his tiny dog to stay with him. It was excellent and so dignified
