"Long wait for follow up appointment"
We accessed the service again in September 2022, where we saw a speech and language therapist in June 2022. Everything was fine. School said there were issues with his speech and that he'd need to be referred again. They said the follow up appointment would be in 17 weeks, Still waiting in June 2023 for the referral appointment. I did chase it up and they said the waiting time was now 30 weeks. School has been really good at helping him in the meantime.
"Easy self referral - pleasant nurses"
The self referral was easy when I needed to do it. There's good communication, efficient care and the nurses are very pleasant.
