Four Oaks care provides discrete support to a full time domiciliary carer. This has been productive and helps support the main carer, to ensure that the care receiver remains at home.
I came across Four Oaks when looking for a new care agency for my FIL as the previous firm were inadequate. From my first conversation on the phone the team were professional, friendly and informative. The initial assessment happened quickly and although I was there to advocate for my FIL they spoke to him to gather his support needs, wishes and feelings rather than about him. And he was involved in the whole conversation and care plan.
The carers are consistent so my FIL knows who is attending on what day, which means the carers have built a positive relationship with him and got to know him, understanding his behaviour and routines. The whole organisation communicate so well with the family if he needs shopping, he is unwell or any other concerns. They have a WhatsApp number that we can contact at any time of day or night and this helps us to share information both ways. An added bonus is his house has never been so clean and tidy!

The team at Four Oaks Healthcare have been such a help to my mom who is suffering from symptoms of dementia. They are always so helpful and nothing has ever been too much trouble. The staff are approachable and friendly. We appreciate their care and support so much.
Ladies who care for mum are really lovely, they have empathy and patience with her as she can be difficult at times.
I know I can rest easy knowing that mum is in good hands and if there is a problem they call me straight away... Couldn't wish for more.
Excellent care within the home on a 24 hour 7 day week basis. Has a regular carer but has had a lovely temporary carer for a two week period. This transition was smooth and mother in law was very settled and did not notice the change in carer which is always a good sign. We know from previous occasions with another care agency if there is any issues just by how my mum is within her surroundings. Four Oaks rang after a short period to check that everything was going well and we were very happy with the carer who seemed to have good knowledge of the demands of a dementia care patient.
From my first call with them, I knew they cared and that they knew the meaning of person centred care. My mom has been receiving care for 6 weeks now and my family and my mother are very grateful to Four Oaks Care. Many care companies have wonderful care standards but these are just words. Not for Four Oaks Care. They took time to come out and visit my mom and speak to family to get to know my mom and find out her requirements. Communication is excellent, the online platform means family can see what care is being provided and when and how my mom is at each point of the day. Carers are caring and flexible and follow the care plan. They do not cut corners like other care companies. All requests have been responded to. We have discussed continuity of carers and this is being addressed, also a flexible approach to preparing meals so my mom has a balanced diet. Thank you, you are outstanding.
My general experience with Four Oaks care is good.
Some carers are excellent at what they do. They take their time to help me, are very friendly and professional.
The only area that I still think needs improving is some of the rota, i.e. the timing of some of the tea time calls and the weekend breakfast calls.
Very helpful office staff on the end of the phone. Slight confusion between elderly client and supply carer, easily solved with a call to HQ

My brother has a live-in carer who is brilliant at looking after him, compassionate, patient and really caring despite his many needs. There is nothing that is too much trouble, even though the work is challenging at times. Carer also happy to visit the hospital to assist with the process of his return home, let's just say it was not straightforward. There is usually good back-up from the local regional office with reviews, spot checks and cover carers when the main carer needs a break. Finding a regular stand-in carer is proving difficult to achieve, however, finding and matching cover dates is probably the greater priority, which is quite understandable. Overall, still excellent service from carer & support team.
Dad really looked forward to his carers arriving each day. They did everything that was required, highlighted any problems, reported back to the office and to me. They also spent time chatting with Dad. He had the same carers each week and was able to build a real rapport with them.
The live in carer looks after him well every day. Any problems, he is prompt at sorting it out. He is comfortable and happy with how the carer treats him, he is so appreciated

My Mother had previously been looked after by my Father before she went into hospital. His health was also failing and he found it more and more difficult to cope. It is such a relief to have someone we can rely on to look after my Mother and, as a bonus, look out for my Father.
I have been with fouroaks 8.5 years and the company is amazing and the staff are lovely and kind, always there to listen they go above and beyond, lovely company to work with.
We have been with four oaks for nearly 3 years, the ladies go above and beyond for my sister, we have built a great relationship with them, they are kind and very friendly we always can have a laugh with them

I find the service does all it needs to do towards my mom's care. My mom & I have built an excellent relationship with the ladies that look after her.
