"Couldn't get bloods done"

My 10 year old daughter needed a blood test. She went in and the GP said they couldn't do it there and that she had to get it done at the hospital

"Triage works well"

The triage system works really well. You write everything down and it works really well.

"Can't get appointments"

Sometimes I can't get an appointment. They say to call again. The staff are good there.

"Unresponsive to disabled folk"

Most issues seem to stem from either bad management or lack of confidence and subsequent avoidance of their responsibilities.
Manager seems loathed to talk to patients. To get a sick note they insist someone who is unsafe leaving the house due to the conditions they NEED the sicknote for, should come in 3 separate times to tell them what they want written down on 2 different forms (why not one form, why can't I do that on the first day?) and then to pay in cash, then to pick up.
No options for digital support for disabled people.
Manager has restricted the NHS app severely limiting its function; I don't have my allergies, doctors, appointments, letters available on there. Only thing I can do is book a face-to-face app (not a phone one), and order medication, which I think they've now taken off the app according to text message?
If you have a care plan that requires hospital referral if bloodwork shows certain things, the drs will NEVER follow the care plan. They will always cryptically insist you book an appointment. Make you wait 2 months for this app, when you go to the app the GP doesn't know why you're there, then they have to look it up and start to offer you the wrong treatment because no one pays attention to your care plan.
This routine negligence can be dangerous when things are time-limited.
I would go into more issues but I know my post would be blocked. Needless to say I don't think disabled/chronically ill people should go to this surgery.
One positive that stops this being 1 star is that it was the first and only GP to allow me to use Mx as my title, which has been extremely helpful, enabling it across all NHS services as a result. Their voice notification in the reception room even says 'MX' when calling you out which is nice. I hope changing GP doesn't undo that!

"Rude and no appointments"

When we try to book an appointment they always send us to the nearest urgent place. When you call at 9am like they say to, they then say all the appointments have gone. Then call back at 1pm and the same thing again. The GPs are helpful but the receptionists aren't. When they talk to you they are quite rude.

"Hard to get an appointment"

It's hard to get an appointment, the recording on the phone is too long. When I go into reception, they ignore me.

"Very good staff"

Very good, very positive. The admin staff are very good when trying to get an appointment. Very good patient skills and the doctors are amazing. Very good at reassuring the patient. They make you feel relaxed.

"Very good"

Very good, they don't always give me appointments but they're good when you get to see a GP and they're helpful.

"They were good"

They have done an initial appointment and basic checks like height, weight and urine test. They gave me some good information and listened to me. They asked if I had any concerns. They were good.

"Getting an appointment is hard"

This is my new GP that I had to change to. Getting an appointment is very hard and you can only get one via app. Calling is very hard. They won't discuss two things in one appointment. They did add my non-binary title which is very good.

"A poor service"

They don't resolve my issues. I had a cyst and they said it was small, it got much bigger and it took a year for them to refer me to the hospital. When I feel something is an urgent matter, it takes them a month to give me an appointment. It is a poor service.

"Very good"

Very good. I call most days with pains in my foot and side and they will see me and they will make appointments for in a few weeks.

"Diabolical phone system."

It's another story if you need them, you won't get them. The phone system is diabolical. You can stay on the phone for 45 minutes. They don't explain things well to us. It's very tough. They have an online appointment service, you can't access emergency appointments but you can book one for 2/3 months down the line. It's difficult.

"It's a great service"

The only bad thing is when you call them and have to wait ages on the phone. Otherwise it's a great service.

They have a separate prescription line which saves lot of time and is quite efficient.

"Phone lines freed up by prescription line"

They have a dedicated number for prescriptions which has now freed up the other line. I was number 30 in the queue and they said to press one and they'd give me a call back. They called back and asked what medication I needed and then asked which pharmacy I'd like it sent to and then got it sent there.

"We cannot get an appointment"

Lately issue is we cannot get an appointment ring at 9am. Call at 9am and all the appointments are gone. Only have one female doctor and it’s good to discuss issues with her. Male doctor does not fault care but would rather discuss it with female.

"Rubbish"

It's rubbish, trying to get an appointment there is like trying to see a specialist. I have had to wait over 6 weeks to see my GP. In the past, I have had to go private after waiting 4 months for an appointment and have since been referred to the hospital.
