"A very good surgery"
This is a great surgery I can make appointments when needed. I go regularly on a monthly basis for an ongoing health problem.

Overall it's 50/50 with them. I called them recently with excruciating shoulder pain and they told me it was not urgent and I should call back. I feel like they make you have to be rude to them, it shouldn't get to that point.
It's not too bad to make an appointment over the phone. It's easier to get an appointment with the nurse, but to get an appointment with the doctor can take longer. Because I have high blood pressure, I see the nurses every month.
It's very good, all staff are great from receptionists to doctors, I can't complain about anything. I can get appointments and I can get referrals, they don't mess about.
They are good but the waiting times are not.
Quite good with the kids and getting appointments. No issues. They can take a while to answer but they prioritise the kid and will get them in.
They could do better, as in, when I call up for something and it's not that serious they don't take it seriously. They need to do better.
They're really nice. Especially with kids. They see us face to face and they're really good at booking appointments too.
Dreadful, finally got a doctors appointment face to face and asked for a later appointment due to work not liking having time off, doctors surgery final got in touch and said they could do 3:30 on Thursday I asked if they could do later they said 3:50 was the best they can do. I turned up on Thursday after rushing home from work to be told it was 3 weeks on Thursday at 3:50 not the Thursday I turned up on because they didn’t mention the date. Country is broken working and trying to see the doctors simply doesn’t work, why am I taxed NI when the system is so broke.
Can’t arrange appointments
They're no good. I can't get through to them over the phone or get an appointment. When I do, its over the phone. I need to see someone face to face.
A doctor’s surgery where staff prides themselves with exemplary patient care the entire team having the passion of their job striving to deliver beyond the patient expectation. Bearing in mind that, in order to achieve such, has created an inclusive environment that nurtures a strong patient and staff connection and relationships’ built on compassion and empathy. You walk through the surgery doors the level of support and comfort received makes you feel at home and quite a good remedy to someone in pain and need. If anyone seeking kind, compassionate and brilliant family care I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Firs Surgery. The team there are the kindest professionals I have ever met. I am so impressed by their demeanors and intuitiveness. Don’t take my words experience and remember your health is your wealth, therefore, entrust in the hands of a team like those at Firs Surgery.
Telephone consultations may be suitable for patients with straightforward health complaints, but they are entirely unsuitable for patients with more complex needs or those requiring examination to exclude potentially serious conditions. Despite the easing of national restrictions, there are still no plans in place to re-open GP Practices, remove the triage systems implemented during the pandemic and allow patients to book face to face appointments.
Receptionists awful, can't speak to GP for urgent care. Midwife at surgery awful, no contact, no test results. totally ignored.
Love my GP surgery, they are great. My GP is lovely. I hear lots of people complain they can’t get an appointment. The Firs always try to accommodate.
