"The most patient team of staff!"
I came here today to get my 2nd jab and being extremely needle phobic I really struggle with getting vaccinations. However the team here were so kind and patient with me, I couldn’t thank them enough!!!

This will cause me to loose 6000 for a weddnig abroad as i cant get proof of vaccination status to travel and resolution team dont phone back been waiting 2 months for a call really not happy
Went to Edgbaston cricket ground. Very efficient but a bit disappointing as we had booked a slot for the day after the government threw it open as a free for all. So very crowded but most people were masked and observing social distancing.
I didn't have my nhs number when I had my first dose here so there was no record of it on the nhs, but when I got my number I went to other vaccination centres and they said they couldn't give me a record for my first dose and I had to go back to edgbaston. However when I went back to edgbaston the people in the building told me that the vaccine centre staff had left and they couldn't solve the problem. Now I don't have the full vaccine records and I can't find the contact details of the first vaccination site!
As I walked in, I went to the reception desk, gave my details and was then led straight to a seat, where I was given my booster. 15 minute wait, post booster, then out. Couldn't be simpler. Staff were very friendly and efficient
Staff were really polite and helpful, plenty of parking no hanging around and very well organised
Booking easy. Parking available. No queues when I attended although I understand sometimes there are. Very well organised and straightforward process. Lovely staff.
Closed with not warning how is one supposed to book a 13 year old for their jab when the schools are no longer offering it and the nearest one is in Solihull?!!!
The place is well organized and the staff are nice and professional but unfortunately they typed my name and/or address wrong and now I can't get the second dose because all of the centres I went to couldn't find me on their system.

I recently had my covid booster at Edgbaston. Generally efficient friendly & thorough. BUT:
- it was crowded & there was scope for better ventilation eg by opening emergency exit doors, also
- exit from the site after vaccination was by a manual door that must be touched by thousands of people but it was not sanitised as far as I could see. This is odd given that staff diligently sanitised chairs in the centre, also
- the 15min wait post-jab was not monitored as it was for my previous jabs at another site.

Very bad experience, roadworks, owed car park, no singage, bad communication, rude and aggressive security staff, no care or understanding, even though Web site was saying walk in was avaible till 6pm refused entry at 5pm. Total joke, no wonder we're in such a mess

Have had both doses of vaccine at Edgbaston, there was no waiting, staff are friendly and informative and it was a very positive experience. Thank you to everyone who is giving their time to get us vaccinated.
We went there for our booster covid vaccination.
We found the staff and venue first class. Very well organised from start to finish. Thank you
Having booked appointments for myself (64 year old with a disability) and mother in law (86 year old with multiple health issues) we arrived at the booked time. Queue we were told would be significantly more than an hour. Neither of us could physically stand in a queue for that long. We were told that no priority could be given, and there were no facilities to help the elderly or disabled. So we had to abandon the attempt and so, despite both being in the vulnerable category, have not had the booster. How can the booking system allow so many people to book at the same time?
Also, the main entrance to the cricket ground is closed with building work - there are no signs or indications as to where to go.
I live outside Birmingham so have been able to arrange an appointment with my GP. My mother in law lives in Birmingham and it has proved impossible to do this - which is why we went to the cricket ground in the first place.

I had my Covid booster on Monday and cannot fault the service. I was one of the less straightforward patients as, having been advised against the Pfizer vaccine at my local centre, my GP had recommended the Cricket Ground as somewhere offering the AZ booster in certain circumstances. The process was smooth, the staff helpful, friendly, caring and professional. At all times I felt myself to be in safe hands. Thank you.
Having looked at the web site for a 'walk in' facility I travelled to the ground to get my 1st jab. I was advised upon entry that I would have to arrange for an appointment which is not mentioned in the official government web site. What a complete cock up as well as wasting my time.

My 16 year old son arrived at the walk in centre, as it is close to home and it was advertised as a walk in centre. On arrival he was turned away and told he had to go home and make an appointment! When I called to make an appointment for him, after being on the phone for a while with an automated service, I was told to call back later as nobody is available.
It is little wonder that people are not having vaccination, when it is made so extremely difficult to actually access the service!
