"Needs a better system but they do their best"
It's hard to get appointments there but the staff and GPs are good. They try their best. The system needs changing to make things quick and schedule appointments easily.

They're very helpful and send district nurses when needed.
You can never get an appointment. You can book online, but when you go on, there are no appointments of course. My friend's say the same thing. I don't bother going to the GP now, I go to the urgent treatment centre and have to wait. I have COPD and I have not had a face to face with my GP in 5 years. They called me when my arm was hurting and told me to put something warm on it.
Difficult getting appointments. I have to ring at 8AM. There are online appointments but there is never any available. The reception are good but I never get to see the same doctor.
It's disgusting, they didn't want to know. I felt like they were neglecting everyone. Receptionists wouldn't help. It's an ongoing scenario.
Prescription stopped for item I need
They're a shambles. Couldn't get appointments and you only see locums when you do. Had to repeat myself all of the time.
I am very pleased by the care provided to me and my family over the years.
A good service.
I ended up walking up there as I couldn't see a doctor for my eye. It was red and infected. I waited a while but I didn't mind because I knew they were going to see me.
Your 32nd in the queue so it isn't worth bothering them. You will never get an appointment with them. Awful.
Rubbish, haven't seen GP since I joined 18 months ago
Doctors are great but getting an appointment is always a difficult challenge. It's always a difficult struggle to reach your own GP, who is exceptionally good, caring and helpful.
There aren't any on the premises, closed Wednesday & Thursday afternoon, only nurses doing diabetes, copd etc. Receptionist tells me we are not allowed to make an appointment with a gp. We tell receptionist the problem & if a gp decides to may get a call back in a couple if weeks!! Every time I go in the morning to see who is working no GPs are present & 3/4 people may seeing a nurse. Why are you taking on new patients you don't see the 7000 you are getting paid for?
They're good. They're helpful. I can see my own doctor but I am happy to see whoever. I do feel like they listen and they are ever so helpful.
They've gone better, you can get appointment's, most of the time they're over the phone but they will see us face to face is they feel we need to come in. The GP doesn't prescribe medication any more, they ask us to go to the pharmacy and buy medication instead.
Appointment wise, they're good for the kids, but for me as an adult, I struggle. She made me a letter for us to come to the Children's hospital as she did not know what was in my babies mouth.
They are okay but getting through is a struggle and annoying. Can’t get appointments even after waiting for 40 minutes. Just causes stress.
rang in for appointment rude receptionist made to feel guilty for ringing in and a rude doctor rang back the whole attitude there is so your ill tough clear off we dont want patients spoiling our day
Couldn’t get face to face, had to wait for ages in queue. I phone at 8am long wait, Just wasn’t seeing people at all. I decided to change practice because they were so bad.
I can get appointments quite easily. The ladies on reception are really good, always try to fit me in. sometimes I see the nurse and sometimes the doctors but I just don’t mind to see someone.
My dad was waiting 4 weeks for a blood for Gout and it was an urgent blood test he needed. He just waited it out and continued to walk on his bad foot. He thought he could just walk into a hospital for a blood test and they said they no longer do them.
Quite a few doctors, it’s your luck who you see. Appointment for diabetics clinic with the nurse. I went in physically to book an appointment and book it 2 or 3 times a year. If you want same day appointment have to ring before 8am and can get a same day appointment.
Have to call at 8am in the morning for appointment and can one but have to wait. Don’t help me that much.
Can call at 8am, 15th in the queue. No appointments, turn around and say call the next day. You want one the morning you called on.
Gone a bit downhill, talks of moving to Fox Hollies. Had an issue, fall between the centers. No Covid vaccine offered in Acocks green, offering them in other places I don’t know. So didn’t end up going because of disabilities. Doctors said they would put on nurses list, didn’t because I did not fit the criteria. I wrote to the local councilor and they sorted house calls and visits to my home to get more access. I also have a hernia and doctor told me to go to A&E, I had to wait 6 months to be looked at by GP and then 8 months for operation.
Can't get face to face appointment.
Very difficult to get appointments you have to spend ages on phone. Access is the main problem, maybe they should have separate phone line for elderly & people with special needs.
Difficult to get an appointment and get through on phone.
A lot of waiting for phone calls but all-round doctors are good.
Give me my medical things like antibiotics and anti depressants. You have to wait on the phone for the doctors, its a long process, but that's to be expected.
Now getting somewhere with them. Took good three years to get a good doctor.
Hit and miss with the appointments, especially blood tests had to go somewhere else for blood test.
They never answer the phone . Issues with referral letters. A missing prescription. Have to travel to other surgeries for some treatment like pneumonia injection.
You can’t get an appointment, if you do get through you are told there’s no appointments and to try again tomorrow from 8am. Even if you say it’s urgent, the reception team aren’t interested.
Call at 8am, wait 45 mins, get cut off
Call next day 8am wait 20 mins get cut off
Order a prescription to pharmacy- wait 3 days, it’s not there
Get told you need to call at 8am to discuss the prescription with GP
Call at 8am wait 40 mins, no appointments
Next day ran out of tablets, call at 8am wait 30 mins no appointments
Next day….
Have a melt down
Impossible to make appointments with GP. Phone battle 8am by 8:45 still held in queue caller no 26, answered 8:50 sorry no appointments left! No appointments available on line this week or in the future. Several life long chronic illness need to report physical problems! Most morning phone battles after 1 or 2 hours hanging results in cut off! GPS change medication, telling me to make an appointment to go through triage & speak to a GP!! Unable to do so. Why hasn't the GP phoned me to discuss BEFORE altering. I dint know any GP at this practice all now seem to be locums. All 7000+ patients on their books have paid into the system, GPS are paid for that number of patients - why ? They are neglecting & avoiding treating their patients. Worse still GPS are causing mental health issues for their patients with physical problems, the elderly, people with young children many being forced to go to A&E, which i was told to do by a cold, offensive receptionist, could have been just a conversation with a GP!! Thousands of us being put at risk & no doubt many have died as a result of GP negligence - not the pandemic!
There is no service cannot get an appointment been waiting for ever to get a blood test. My husband been waiting for an appointment to see a vascular consultant since January only to find that they hadn't requested it.Terrible service.
Shocking - Doctors won't see you and some act like they don't care. Can't speak to the same doctor twice.
Lacking in every way. You can never get a appointment. The receptionist are very rude and when you do get a appointment the problem is often not solved or sorted. I have been on the phone before they open and by the time you get through your number 30 in the queue which means more than likely you won't get a appointment. The have now changed the message and it now only states there are more than 5 people before you. This is not helpful in anyway as you don't have a clue if its worth holding or not. The last time it told me that it took over a hour to speak to someone. I was also given the wrong contraception as I am a smoker over 35 and they only realised 2 years later. They didn't notify me right away they booked me a appointment for nearly a month on and then told me. I have looked into other surgeries in my area but the reviews are similar. The online booking never has any appointments available and is really not fit for purpose. I feel like the whole process of bookings and see a gp need to be urgently reviewed. I feel it more for older people who may have more serious issues and not able to see or speak to a GP when needed.
Its impossible to get an appointment or even get them to answer the phone. They withdrew lifelong medication. When I did speak to a doctor over 6 wks later, to ask why it was being withdrawn, no reason was given and when I tried to get an answer the doctor put the phone down saying the decision was final. Changed doctors and my meds were reinstated within a week as they agreed it should be for life. A family member was trying to get a medical report done for the Armed Services. They lost the first copy and took 4 wks to tell him. The second one he was told it had been done 4 wks later. He phoned when it wasn't received to be told actually it got lost and wasn't done. Third copy was done but never received. Its taken 3 mths to get the report completed and given a copy to post himself.

Very hard to get appointments! Even if you call 8 on the dot and 9th in the queue, after 30 minutes of holding on, you’re told there’s no appointments! What’s more, just to change the quantity of medication for eczema ( from the measles 30g ointment to 100g because your eczema has flared up) you need to make a doctors appointment! What a waste of doctors time. And waste of time trying to get an appointment for that! And not even get an appointment in the end. I think they just want you to give up and suffer! As you give up trying to get an appointment until the condition gets much worse and you need antibiotics or something!

You cannot make an appointment on the phone as it is handled by the Call Centre which does not want you to have the appointment if they don't want to have it. I have never ever had an appointment even after waiting for over 45 minutes on the phone.
In the last 18 mths not hold at all.
You just cannot get through. They open at eight, you ring and your 5th in the queue (for exanple) 30 mins later you get through, low and behold no appointments. More often than not they just don't answer the phone. I've been with them over 40 years but the last few have been horrendous. They have become part of the MMP ( I think that right) partnership. Shall be moving once the madness is over ????
Poor. Impossible to get an appointment. Took 3 months to get appointment for a blood test. Poor communication. Had a hospital consultation but the surgery didn't send the consultant any notes.
Not meeting my medical needs and my daughters need some support due to my anxiety pandemic has made me feel very anxious and upset.
Impossible to get an appointment. Rude at the reception. Never seen the same doctor over 3 years.
Absolutely disgraceful service said because of the age of the patient putting them at risk they now send us or instead on public transport to Kings Heath what is more harmful for old-age pensioners them to get on the bus when your doctor surgery will not see you send you to another one absolutely disgraceful service.
Totally unethical and downright insulting. There are no doctors and they do not answer phone calls. And you cannot make an appointment either. Very rude receptionist.

Trying to get through to surgery is near impossible. Left in a queue for so long you have to give up. Their online service is obismal. Repeat prescriptions are never send down from surgery on time and when you do get through to surgery they are so unhelpful it's beyond belief!
Can’t get through to get prescription sorted out crazy
Don't seem interested in what I am saying or telling them about my problems when I do manage to get an appointment
Poor
I don’t go here myself however I’m a carer and my citizens do, my parents do and my nan and the customers service is beyond dreadful, it is a very incompetent surgery with rude staff
Not being able to get GP appointment when very much in pain. Even after taking myself of to walk-in centre, no blood test can be done without any doctor’s referral, so it was back on forth.
tried to get an appointment none for a week, told to go to a walk in centre.
In Feb I was on the phone for over half an hour before I put it down. Tried again and was told I would have to book an appointment for mid march. Phoned the following Monday and was told I could have an appointment on Friday.
Staff can be rude, surgery is boring and run down.
Phoned up regarding a referral made on that Friday and was told that I would have to wait til Tuesday for a telephone confirmation. No clear communication between the hospital and GP - As Hospital letter arrived 2 months after the appointment.
Walked in morning 07\02\18. Questioned in detail by receptionist for reason of attendance to be told to ring at 8 tomorrow. No confidentiality
Even with a very sick child you can't get near a doctor
