Staff sitting talking to each other, using their phones, no care for residents, manager she is in her office eating while on her mobile no care at all, I can barely understand what care workers are saying, no care at all
Do not send your loved ones here. CQC has rated it 'Inadequate' and rightly so. This home is incapable of even the most basic care and communication. No matter what you say to management (if there is a manager - they've spent a good chunk of time in the last couple of years without one) nothing changes. In a home that is meant to specialise in dementia care none of the staff seem to know how to treat those with dementia.
There is currently a flu outbreak in the home which by the time they had told relatives via email and put the most basic protection measures in place (masks and hand washing for visitors) had already resulted in hospitalisations - this includes my nan who was clearly not being adequately observed, was so ill she was taken to Resus and who will most likely not recover. They also like to cover up any negative comments made publicly - they have removed my comments and blocked me from their Facebook page just for stating the truth.
Dentist comes here to see me and they’re good.

This care home is a hopeless place they don’t really care for the patients and if you was visiting your family member and they needed assistance by the time they come to you they would of had an accident or just give up waiting and just do it themselves if they could at first it might look like they care at first but they don’t but it was too late take back my family members unfortunately as they had one job for 24 hours care.

Excellent support for my elderly mother with caring and understanding staff.
Very scary - 30 minute flow test takes only 3 minutes max, no evidence rooms are fogged after visits. very disturbing to have meet vulnerable elderly relatives in such circumstances as you cannot guarantee the health & hygiene of those who have gone before you under such protocal breaches
The social worker gave clear explanations of the process and guidance on the form filling that is needed and how to choose a care home, then the home itself has given excellent care and support to my elderly mother after the sudden on-set of dementia meant she could no longer be cared for at home.
