"I get on well with the staff and doctors"
I find the surgery good, but it can be difficult getting appointments sometimes. I get on well with the staff and doctors.
I find the surgery good, but it can be difficult getting appointments sometimes. I get on well with the staff and doctors.
Online referral for pregnancy comes to the house which is good. It's hit and miss getting appointments
I was disappointed with the poor service I received from Church Road Surgery. I tried to help with ongoing pain but they provided no assistance at all.
You have to phone up at 8am and they want to know all about your issue. I don't always want to disclose the info. If I phone them up for information though they tell me they aren't trained and don't have the answer. The receptionists are lovely but it's very difficult. The doctors are always lovely when I see them but I don't feel like I always get a proper service and they don't always explain things fully.
The staff were good and helpful when I registered there. It was quick too. So far I'm happy with them.
I called at 8am and was third in the queue. I got an appointment for that morning where they checked me over and referred me on for an X-ray.
This is a very good surgery with good doctors.
I don't use the service very often, but I can get an appointment when I need one urgently. They provide a good service.
My experience of the surgery is good. I can normally get appointments when I need one and I find the doctors are good, listen to you and treat you well.
My community midwife is based at my GP surgery. I have been happy with the service I have received from them. I have been provided with contact details should I have any queries or concerns between appointments.
After numerous visits to their other surgery and getting nowhere, I was so pleased to attend Church Road Surgery where I was seen by a really good doctor who quickly diagnosed and treated me.
They're not bad, I make appointments over the phone and it's difficult to get through. When I do get through I do get an appointment. Not all the staff listen to what's going on. I've had the same problem for years, they say take a blood test, do that and there's no follow up.
This practice is great. When you call to book an appointment, they answer the phone quickly and you can usually get a same day appointment. I don't need to go in often, but whenever I do I am listened to and I feel heard.
It is difficult to book an appointment with the GP. They are always full when you call. There is an online booking service now which is better. I struggle with my mental health and have been a victim of domestic abuse and self harm sometimes, The doctor is supposed to be in regular touch sometimes. The doctor is supposed to be in regular touch with me due to this, however they are not. When I do see the GP they act like they can't wait to get rid of me. The GP only increases or decreases my medication, but no other help. I do not contact the GP for support anymore as there is no point and it's always the same rubbish. I am also going through menopause and the GP does not help with this either.
The GP is very good and I can get appointments there. They're very good.
The GP should have checked the PSA levels in my blood work for prostate as I have been getting infections a lot in the last year. He didn't do any tests.
They're alright. I find it hard to get appointments if I ring them as they don't answer. They're not terrible though as I will just go into them.
I find the receptionists, nurses and GPs always fantastic. I've been seen at very short notice, I usually call and get an appointment same day. The staff are understanding to my situation and went above and beyond for me quite a few times.
I was given an emergency appointment straight away for my husband who was ill. They picked up my husbands heart condition very quickly and referred him to the hospital where he had two stents fitted straight away.
Long waits on the telephone and it is only nurses who see you. Very rarely I see my GP. No consistency with care or treatment.
The problem with this surgery are the staff. From the practice manager down to the receptionist, they don’t follow any process or procedures outlined on their nhs website. They are extremely skilled in the art of fobbing off and saying “ someone will calm you back “ .
The simplest task appears to be, for them, extremely complex.
I hardly ever visit the Dr and had to call 111 last night, had a phone appointment by the Badger Dr and was told to call my own GP this morning. Phoned and no appointments, reception would not listen to what I said, could not book an appointment in advance just ring at 8 on the day and you ring and there are no appointments. I have pain in my chest and ribs and she wouldn't listen and actually shouted over me. Will be moving surgery now.
The nurses are brilliant. I find it easy to make appointments with nurses but it can be difficult to get a GP appointment.
All good. The GP is really good. I have only used it a couple of times as we have only recently registered here. The previous GP in Dudley was horrible.
It's hit and miss. Sometimes you get an appointment straight away and sometimes you have to wait for a few days to see a GP.
Been there for years, never had any issues with them.
It is awful trying to get an appointment here at 8:15am some days all appointments gone this can go on for days it’s not good enough
When you get to see the doctor he is very good but you have to wait week after week in order to get an appointment.
No longer with them, I couldn't get on with the service, they weren't very good.
You have to ring every day at 8 am and at 8:10 you get through and all appointments gone call tomorrow , I’ve been trying for over a week now it’s ridiculous
They're really good with my mental health. Whenever I feel like I'm having an issue or need to talk to someone, they're available and they will see me.
It is almost impossible to get an appointment and you can never see the same doctor. I do not like having to disclose my medical symptoms to a receptionist, and staff can be very rude and abrupt when I explain this. I just feel that its a complete lack of privacy expecting patients to divulge sensitive information to a receptionist over the telephone. Referral times can be slow and there is a lack of communication keeping patients updated.
Can get appointments . Easy to call them and get my medication from the pharmacy, always have it in stock.
Haven’t needed to go often. Rang week ago for my son who has an issue. They said we need to go to the pharmacy. They didn’t give me an appointment.
Appointments by phone are a real issue and then I go round to the GP on foot, but still get told to make an appointment by phone, or to phone back at various times of the day, which is quite worrying.
I see them when I need to see them. Sometimes it takes a long time to get through, but I only waited 5 minutes recently and they do face to face appointments. At the moment I'm on medication that I can't miss, they check my blood and always stick to appointments.
They're good, they're alright, you don't really like to think about going. So you call at 7:59am to get an appointment. Never been a time where I couldn't get an appointment and the appointments are face to face.
I can't get appointments with them. My son was on a waiting list to be referred to for development delays for over a year.
The GP's are brilliant, I never have any problems there.
Excellent
Good and helpful.
They are OK.
Awful. I haven't been able to even get a telephone appointment in the last 10 months. The receptionist and the woman at the door are unhelpful.
Been with the practice over 20 years. The new way of them working does not work. Yes covid has been bad ,my husband has c.o.p.d we have lived to the covid rules. I've got health condition myself , both my husband and I have had quite a few times need a doctor. What did we get a doctor who has no idea who we are. A nurse with the same attitude. We were people once now were just a phone number. We have always felt safe at the practice. Not now I get things checked at boots
Too many locus doctors and some of the reception staff unhelpful and rude
The service received over these last 12 months have been fab better than b4
Always been difficult to obtain a appointment, never see same the doctor twice, staffed by locums. Will not help with DLA or other agencies.
