Good
My husband has been at Cedar Lodge since last 15 months. He is unable to walk, talk or feed himself. He is receiving a very good and professional care and is very well looked after (Cleaned, Shaven and well feed). All through Covid limited visits but he is content and has acceptancy over there.
Mum was taken to Cedar Lodge just over 12 months ago when my step dad, her main carer sadly died.
She did not want to be there and was always upset and asking to go home.
She is now settled, much happier than she has been for a long time. She enjoys the food and is really well cared for. She takes her medication which she was previously refusing and looks so much better in herself. We recently celebrated her 90th birthday.
The nursing home is clean and staff are friendly.
This gives us piece of mind knowing she is safe at all times.
Thank you
My mother has been at the home for a few years and I have to say that the care staff are wonderful. As the home is not far away from where I live, it makes it easier to visit her when possible. The food the kitchen staff provide is to a very high standard and it is top quality. Overall the homes biggest strengths are the care it provides to my mother and also the food they serve.
the manager is withholding staffs references which is against the law, worst manager i have ever come across, wages are mysteriously short every month, said i was payed over time, or i didnt work it, but i did have records to prove it, still made no difference, said i could have my holidays on the date i wanted, 2 days before my holiday she said i couldnt have them dates even though there was nobody else off. horrible woman, go as far to say a spiteful person. mr roberts, writing on behalf of my dislecsic daughter. my daughter is not the only person to complain about her
