"Trying to get my sister home"
I am trying to get her home. Went into respite whilst I was in hospital and she has been there ever since. We don't like it there. She could be with us.

Excellent care home. Efficient friendly staff. Always helpful. Care home very clean and food was excellent.
They took very good care of my mom when she was there. When she was poorly they called me and I was in town, said that I need to come and see my mom and paid for me to get a taxi to go see her. They were so good. Treated her so well, I can't thank them enough.
My husband passed away here. They were so wonderful there. They looked after my husband so so well. Beautiful home and we were kept well informed.
Obviously something DRASTIC has happened since the 5☆ Reviews in 2017/18/19.
This facility is quite unbelievable, WITHOUT RETRACTION, the facility must take the unenviable Honour of being the worst that epitomises the words of "Care and Compassion"
My Dear Mother was 'Released', FRIGHTENED, UNEASY, and covered in numerous BRUISES, which could not be explained...and She had only been in the Home for just over 5 weeks, awaiting an Assessment for Mental Incapacity.
Needless to confirm the controlling Council Authority AND the CQC have been advised....WHAT ON THIS EARTH HAS HAPPENED IN THE LAST 24 Months !!!
Absolutely terrible
Excellent care home. Efficient friendly staff and very helpful. Home very clean and food was excellent.
This facility used to be better with happier, cleaner, alert patients. Now all seem to be very heavily sedated, very unkempt, untidy, and dirty, with long fingernails and messy uncut hair. Most sleep all of the time, most appear drugged. Staff now seem to be all Eastern European men, very unfriendly, no women nurses to be found. patients seem uncared for.Nobody wanted to help. assist or answer my questions or address my concerns.
I visited a friend the management were rude bordering on threatening. My friend was sat on a corridor covered in faeces in a chair with no cushion. She was clearly distressed and frightened. When I spoke to the nurse she said was I questioning her ability as a nurse. I reported the whole thing having nightmares. I finally got her moved. The manager told us she was in palliative care. She is now happy and has gained 12lbs in weight. Do not place anyone you love in here.
My father had terrible behavioral problems and staff including office staff were always helpful
The staff kept Mom comfortable and we were left knowing we could trust them with her.
It was very nice that we were invited to bring our dog to visit and our friend seems very happy
Great staff great care. Social excellent. Very good home. Excellent all round.
Every time we have been on the ward it has a lovely kind welcome
Excellent care service provided for my relative by professional care staff. All aspects of care have been provided competently in a secure and comfortable environment. It is difficult to suggest an improvement on perfection.
Residents spend too much times in front of the TV, more stimulation needed.
He went for an assessment on the ward. It was very difficult to visit over the weekend, getting in and out was impossible unless someone would come out of the building, which does not say much about the service.
Whilst he was at the assessment ward, his behaviour deteriorated. My impression was that staff were just sitting and watching. They were being aggressive and reduced me to tears. In Bromford Lane Care Home my husband was placed in a bad behaviour ward, but the NHS nurse who did the nursing care assessment said he should not be there. I felt they were not looking after him.
sorry you were left waiting to enter Bromford Lane we do not leave the doors open obviously for security reasons . service users are assessed in hospital and have to meet the criteria to be admitted to the unit at Bromford Lane . When a service user comes form hospital they do become disorientated to time and place and person, there needs to be a transmission period to give them time to settle and become aware of there surroundings . It is sad that you could not have spoke to a senior member of management as there is always one available and we could of dealt with your concerns straight away. Your comments are important to us and from the comment you have left about not being able to get into the home we now have placed a receptionist on duty on the weekends to allow better access into the home
