"Refused to see me - few minutes late!"
My experience was terrible. If your a few minutes late they will not see you. I had been waiting for this appointment for months and to be told no one will see you was awful.

I had scans and investigations. It was good.
I phone up for routine mammograms and they book me in.
Last year I went there and they gave me medicine for my anaemia. The care is always good and they listen.
Can't fault the care at the centre. Great, knowledgeable staff. Caring and just want to help you.
I called them and explained I was having symptoms and they sent a referral to gynaecology within 3 weeks. I was actually seen within 2 weeks. They did tests there and then and diagnosed. Everything was sorted quickly.
I have been attending the pain management clinic at City Hospital. I have had infusions and injections which have temporarily helped with the pain. The service provided is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I had an ultrasound for PCOS and it was a smooth experience. They talked me through it, they were very very good.
I see haematology every 3 months as I have leukaemia. I just get on with it. It's early stages but they keep an eye on me.
It was fine and easy to find.
I had to have an iron infusion for really low iron levels last year. But they were good and got me back to health.
You have to wait to have your blood taken and the staff can be kind of weird, well a weird experience.
The NHS and hospitals are brilliant. I has 5 biopsies there and they looked after me well.
They bought my operation forward by a week back in January. I had day surgery and woke up to the best tea and toast, then home time. There were no follow ups here as they found out it was stage 2 cancer and I was referred onto the Queen Elizabeth hospital for further treatment.
Was sent for Biopsies and a further mammogram at the Treatment Centre, I received 5* treatment from them, I'd give them 100/100. I've been looked after beautifully.
Not very good. They don't follow up.
I have injections in my back at pain management. I've had quite a few sessions and they're quite efficient. Treatment is very efficient.
Everything was brilliant. Very quick appointment after referral, seen within five minutes of arrival. Delightful nurse took me in, my problem was taken seriously. Tests done immediately, all the staff were very pleasant, my results were given straight away by consultant although he was obviously busy.
I was with the eating and drinking team and waited 2 years for the appointment. They closed the service and never said.
I go every year and they don't know what's going on. One says one thing and another says something else is going on with my heart. If god calls me tomorrow then so be it.
Referred onto them for my hip as I got discharged from the Royal and so I was referred here.
I went for an x-ray on my knee and they told me they couldn't do anything because it was arthritis. They gave me some cream. They won't do an operation or anything.
I'm seen on time and go every few months to see how the stents working. They're okay though.
They're good after waiting for an appointment for 2 months.
Brilliant and inclusive. Good communication.
Really good and involve me in the decisions. They allow me into appointments so I understand and know what's happening.
Signposts from main access roads terrible. Had to ask several pedestrians where the hospital entrance was.. Barriers and barred routes everywhere. Difficult also to find exit. All hospital exit signs pointed to barrier closed roads. Had to use 3 ticket barriers to finally get out again! My advice: use a taxi next time!
They did a procedure but didn't do it properly so now I'm waiting on the QE to follow up. The staff were good and there were no long waits.
Always good and friendly. They're really great.
So long to wait for an appointment before treatment was given. They then gave me a follow up.
They were very good.
I had an x-ray and the people were nice, really good. They explained everything and gave me letters and said they would check to see if my kidneys were okay. I also had a colonoscopy here and it was good too.
You can ring up audiology and they will post the batteries and tubes to me. They send them within a couple of days too.
I was nervous about the test but it was okay. The results were sent quickly too.
Alright and seen on time for physio for my hand. They give me exercises to take home which works well.
I had a scan but I turned up a month early due to mixing up my appointments. They saw me the same day even though I had got the wrong day. It was so good, such a good experience. The staff were kind and understanding. An excellent place.
I went for tests for my ankle here and had my results within a couple of weeks. It was good.
I go there for bloods regularly and the staff are very kind and helpful.
Excellent care and treatment at the pain clinic.
I have been there many times for blood tests. The reception staff are rude and nurses are unhelpful.
I had an x-ray there and they were good.
My 13 year old granddaughter had an appointment for an EEG on 8 January at 3.30. We were very early (2.30) as we had travelled from Stourbridge and were not sure about the drive time. The receptionist was very helpful and efficient and booked us in and we made our way to the cafeteria for a drink. Within no time they came to find us to say that my granddaughter could be seen earlier than her appointment time. We were so impressed with the service we had received from the receptionist. What an asset she must be to the administrative staff at the Centre. Well done.
The doctor at the treatment centre was very knowledgeable and helpful. The hospital is good and clean.
Excellent and It was very nice and kind
My husband goes to City for blood tests for his cancer treatment. The staff are very helpful.
The entrance is nice. They are very respectful. They took my bloods very nicely. It is also very clean.
The appointment system at the diabetic clinic is run very well. Sometimes my diabetes goes high and that's the time I can easily access my desired treatment.
They're very punctual, very honest and it's clean. The staff are all very humble.
Overall, good. I have to wait for a long time but their service is not bad.
They are all efficient there.
They way they treat their patients is very good. The staff are also good. They behave well with patients. I'm very satisfied with the services provided.
The service is good, but we have to wait a long time, so that is why I'm giving them 4 stars.
They help people and patients and little kids too.
They are very good.
Check in at respiratory was great. There was a lovely lady on the desk who was helpful and asked only the questions that she needed to. The doctor I saw was brilliant as always. I'm very happy when I come here, they answer my questions and don't rush you.
The volunteer here asked my too many questions as i came through the door. I was going to use the check in and he asked where I was going and what was I doing, which I thought was nosey. He was quite forceful in his questions too.
Top marks. When they gave me a gown to get changed I could hear them calling my name so I went out and told them I was changing and they said they would call me again when I was finished. By the time I went out she was waiting for me there and was holding the x-ray door open for me. I just thought it was so thoughtful.
The respiratory team are brilliant. They referred to this hospital when I asked as this hospital feels more like home.
It's okay. I can't think of anything they need to do to improve.
I was sent from Sandwell to get blood tests at the treatment centre. There wasn't any long waits. I have to have tests before I can get medication.
I had a cyst that they thought was turning cancerous so was sent to urology for scans. They have done everything they can to help me. You get a good service at this hospital.
They're very good to me at the respiratory centre. They say they will do their best but It's not getting any better. The equipment is no good.
I came to the respiratory department at the treatment centre about my chest. I was told I had to blow into something and possibly have an x-ray. I'm just waiting to go in so I'm sure I will know more soon. They're good and they will see me often too.
I went to the breast clinic at the treatment centre for a check up. I found a lump and was referred on quickly. Thankfully they didn't find anything and all was okay.
They said she wasn't a suitable candidate for Botox and then prescribed her a different medication that was also unsuitable. I'm leaving it alone now as she hasn't had a stroke so they are just looking into medication or treatment to help with the condition. They were really good and have done their best for her.
I had a gastroscopy at the treatment centre. They were fantastic. It was a two week referral but I haven't heard back from the GP yet regarding my results.
I have gone to treatment centre here many times for bloods. The staff are helpful and kind. They always see me on time.
I get my bloods done here regularly. I give them 5 stars for excellent signposting throughout the hospital and for excellent and well behaved staff.
I went to the treatment centre for blood tests. The staff were very helpful.
I have been to Birmingham treatment centre many times for blood tests and ultrasounds. I have always been given excellent care and treatment.
All of my scans and blood tests were done at Birmingham treatment centre.
I was sent there for blood tests by my GP. I didn't receive the result for 3 weeks. When I called them to check they said the blood sample was misplaced and I have to come again.
Yesterday I attended an appointment with my sister at Birmingham treatment centre city hospital. We were seen by a Dr. He came Into the room and greeted us both, I said hi and my sister just smiled to which he responded to ‘do you not have a voice’. My sister has social anxiety and I found this comment to be very inappropriate. He then proceeded to ask my sister what the problem was with her nose but I felt she wasn’t very clear so I interjected. The Dr said to me the patient is an adult and she can speak so I should not be speaking for her. This was utterly rude and disrespectful! I was there because she felt the doctors were not listening to her hence why her medical issues have not been resolved but are in fact getting worse. I asked him have you not been sent her medical records which state what procedure she had done and why? he said no. So I asked him how can you offer insight into a case that you have no background knowledge of? He said I am seeing her as a new patient which did not make sense as he was asked to see her as part of her grievance against the NHS in the case of her botched surgery. My sister went on to tell him that they missed the clipping of the muscle underneath the nose and a nose graft during her surgery and he responded to that with what clip what graft? I am pretty sure he was the surgeon in the room not us so he should have known what that was.
He said my sister did not get the right education before her surgery. He diagnosed her with allergy rhinitis and said surgery should not have been offered for such a diagnosis but this was the first time we had heard of such a diagnosis. He went on to say he would question the surgeon if he was in front of him as to why he performed the surgery and why he promised a cure. I then went on to ask him if he would arrange a meet up for me with the surgeon and he said I can ask but you can’t force someone to meet you. He looked at pictures of my sisters nose before the surgery. These were pictures of the outside and said this is a perfect nose to which I said anything can look perfect on the outside it’s about what’s wrong on the inside. He was adamant that my sisters nose was fine and that the situation had not worsened. Is he the patient? How does he know that? I live with her and she is awake all night and keeps others awake to with the constant clearing of her nose.
On the whole the Dr had no idea what procedure was done, why it was done and the impact it has had on my sister. He came across as very abrupt, he was constantly talking over me and tried to just fob us off by repeating the same thing again and again. He was very patronising because he said we did not understand what we were trying to say. At one point my sister did not feel comfortable so spoke to me in pashto our mother tongue. He asked what we were saying and if we continued he would have to leave the room. Never have I ever felt so insulted!
They are providing Sanitizer and masks but are not checking the temperature of everyone coming into the hospital. They should also provide gloves to everyone coming into the hospital to reduce the chances of infection.

Got completely lost trying to find the X-Ray department. Things need to be signposted more clearly. Even hospital staff either didn’t know where to send me or sent me to the wrong place.

This is my second visit, I was here yesterday as well. Everything perfect - staff good, treatment explained well - no complaints.

I have attended BTC/CH a few times - I'm here today for a follow up appointment - I've never had any issues with staff or treatment, however, I have observed the staff be blunt with others.
Quick process from checking in to being seen. Helpful staff, clean hospital and no problems so far.
This is my third visit after treating my arm in October last year. I am impressed by the treatment centre and have no complains about it. I live in Sandwell and would if possible rather have treatment there as it costs me £20 in taxi fares and is difficult to get to on buses.
Very clean in treatment centre. Waiting times not good. Could be signposted better to find the department needed.
Clean easy to park and friendly staff. Not clearly marked for each department, which causes lots of confusion. Might make it easier if things were colour coded.
Excellent care and quick response time. Everything explained really well. Here for follow up appointment, no problems.
All treatment experience has been quick and efficient. Not enough parking. Hospital is clean and staff is friendly.
Visited here quite a few times. Also stayed here as an inpatient for two weeks. The hospital does what it’s made to do. No negatives, no positives. Explain the treatment well. waiting times not good.
Very good experience, normally seen quickly. Third visit no problem.
I had a cystoscopy and felt I was treated well. The procedure went well and received results straightaway.
