"Didn't last long"
Didn't last long. Just a couple of sessions. They were okay.
Didn't last long. Just a couple of sessions. They were okay.
They said they'll get me a worker but I'm still waiting.
They saved me. They can only do so much. They did follow up with me and told me about what I could do online like self esteem courses.
Don't bother they really don't care, they see your vulnerability as a weakness to manipulate you. The staff are all corrupt. They are actors and recovering ex-service users, with no qualifications whatsoever struggling with there own mental health, they need inspecting. It's a trap.
I expect the talking spaces line and drop in are helpful if you don't know much about available NHS services or mental health. If you do you might find them kind of patronising. They are also misguided in their optimism about NHS crisis services and GPs. I felt like the person I spoke to couldn't believe the crisis team were pretty useless.
high up managers don't care about black or brown people
Ceo needs to go
Funding gets given for services that are pointless and support services have 0 money to do anything
My support worker works so hard and is so underpaid from what I see the salary is in adverts
No mention of race equality
Long waiting lists and understaffed
Untrained managers
No mental health training for support workers but it's a mental health charity
They're alright. I get to play games and have a cup of tea and talk. I like talking, I find it helps.
I went through Mind for mental health support. They were great, I accessed their services and they gave me a provider for 6 weeks at a time and then you refer into the system again when you need it.
Very good. I can't sing their praises enough.
Brilliant, they do activities and they are there when you need them. I was referred onto living well and provided me with floating support which has been helpful.
They have been really helpful and better than my social worker.
The support worker was very helpful. Helped me more when my mom passed away to find a new house and it was a really good service. I really appreciated their support and help.
I had a phone call with them. I was quite upset and was crying and the woman I spoke with asked me why I was crying and told me that nothing is as bad as it seems. I had to put the phone down. I didn't feel listened to or like they were there to help me. Just happy to ply you with medication.
I find the friendship group at Mind quite helpful. I like to go to the group and get out.
I was a bit quiet at the friendship group when I first started. I feel like I've come out of my shell. I think the group has been good for me.
It has been great at the friendship group. Helpful and it gets me out.
Very good. Plenty of things to do in a week. I spend lots of time there. Lots of different things to go to. They're brilliant.
The friendship group is really good. It's really great to be able to come out and meet new people who are now friends. Lots of activities to offer and it feels like you're having a good natter when we come.
I've only just been referred to the service. I don't know what I was expecting. I was having fun, some of the people are fun. The friendship group is good so far.
Brilliant service. I feel like they have helped me. Without Mind I don't know where I would be.
Great friendship group. It's been good for me and I enjoy getting out.
I find the friendship group at Mind quite helpful. I like to go to the group and get out.

There is a lot of confusion between Birmingham Minds and Birmingham healthy minds. Healthy minds are getting a lot more credit for Birmingham mind services.
Nowadays you can't access anything. It's difficult to get access. If you do get help, it is so long winded or the funding is cut. I was using a great service with a lady who used to call me and they just stopped the funding.
It's brilliant with them. They are very supportive and really listen. They go above and beyond. I did a self referral and since then its been so good. I go to the Mind hub.
The support worker is very good. He has been brilliant. I cannot praise him enough. He is so helpful with my mental health.
I love it. They are the business. They are brilliant. They help me, listen and they just do what they do and do it well.
They gave me really good advice and they're helpful. Since they discharged me, they've referred me onto Northfield Creative Hub. They've been so helpful!
Fantastic, they listen. They work in co-production with the service users. Brilliant staff!
They've been brilliant, really really helpful, always have been. I don't think theres a better service.
Can't even access the callback option because it says I'm at front of queue for last 30 minutes, I need help
I felt like the manager and support worker did not care about my wellbeing.
I didn't feel the support worker and manager cared about my mental health that much
Birmingham Mind accommodation. The support workers are not very understanding, they said they were going to put a letter out. They are on my case, I am trying my best. They already know my situation but are not very understanding and intrude in my privacy when I am not feeling well.
The only people helped r themselves to thier salary.no help to patients at all.very poor service
Difficult to get an appointment but great support provided since many years.
It is a wonderful service that strives to break the stigma and reinforce confidence and compassion within its service users and staff. They stand up for us and beside us.
They only have 1 base as far as I know which made getting an appt difficult to the point I gave up
The helpline for mental health crisis run by Birmingham Mind and BSMHFT has improved the access to mental health emergency services. Whenever I go to a panic state, I call the helpline and they offer full support and help.
They need to put more money into mental health and the NHS as there are longer waiting times for A&E and other departments. Doctors and nurses should explain things more clearly to patients who have disability, mental health issues and learning difficulties.
Always there for support and sign posting.
In 2013 I wanted to move out an get my own place somewhere safe as I previously had bad experience in the community so I moved to mind supported housing there I encountered a racist and no support from staff Birmingham mind should be prosecuted the way I was treated i would of stayed in my flat had it not been for that racist and minds stupidity for putting a man like that in their flats
