"Good at referring"
They health visitor came out and then sent a referral so that bloods could be arranged with the GP. They were good at giving advice and she is easy to get in contact with.

The health visitor suggested that they would make a referral to the Children's hospital for my 2 year old daughter for a check up for her hearing due to some sounds she has been making. She said I could contact them to make an appointment directly. This was good.
Thank you for your feedback, which is very much appreciated and will be shared with the staff at Birmingham Forward Steps. We\'re pleased your experience was a positive one.
The health visitor sent me a letter telling me my daughter needed to be seen by a health care worker but I don't know why as I have kept up to date with care for my daughter and I am ahead with contacting them.
I don't know who my named health visitor is. I had one health visitor once who was a bit stern but otherwise everyone has been friendly, welcoming and generally really happy to see us. Really good they are!
They discharged me and gave me a number to contact them on should I have any issues. But they were good. Only seen them once and the lady seemed really straight forward, she was okay.
I booked an appointment for my son with the Health Visitor which has been cancelled twice. I told them he needs to be seen but they haven't called back and it's been a month.
I used to come and see the midwife here and now I come to the groups. It's really good for the babies to be around each other and meet other parents.
We really like coming to the groups at Soho Children's centre. The staff here are welcoming and put on loads for the kids. It's nice to get information from them and meet new people.
Its good coming here, we go to the baby group and they are nice people.
The children's centre is good, I like coming here. We go to the baby group, the people are nice.
We like coming here, my son enjoys it. It's a good service and they have lots of activities on for a range of ages up to 5 years old. And it's nice to be able to speak with other parents who children are similar ages for support and advice.
You have to phone to make an appointment with the health visitors, which does sometimes take a while when trying to arrange an appointment to get your child weighed. But I can get appointments and I do find they are helpful.
Trying to get in touch with them, need more health visitors. They're a point of contact. They give out their numbers and still can't get through to them.
Just terrible service. No care, no compassion, actually harmful and I felt worse after seeing them. Just wanted to tick their boxes and leave but usually managed to drop a few worrying statements before they left which would have me worrying for weeks. One health visitor wrote about observing spine deformity in the red book but never said a word to me. It took weeks of research to find out what this meant and that in all likelihood it was nothing to worry about. Disappeared for months when I had been sent to gp because I was physically and mentally struggling. Then demanded I took the baby for weighing to tick their boxes. They had left me with a baby that wouldn't feed for months before this. No contact at all.
