"Regular check ups"
They said I had dormant TB as it had been active in the past. I go for regular check ups.
They said I had dormant TB as it had been active in the past. I go for regular check ups.
My partner was diagnosed with TB in February and were here for a routine check up on my son. He is taking medication for prevention. Everything has been great. Five star services. Our nurse takes good care of us. She brings medications to our house regularly. I am satisfied with everything here.
I am here today with my son and have been using the service for about a year. I had TB and was treated. They told me to come and get him checked too. I don't use medications anymore. Everything was great here the nurse and doctor were helpful and great. Everyone is friendly. I have no complaints at all. I wouldn't change anything to improve it.
I've had no long waits for my first appointment, I was in straight away. My support worker arranged for the appointment as I am an asylum seeker. I went for chest x-rays and check ups. They have been really good with me and explained everything very well and I have communicated back with them.
A good experience. The communication is good and they're always on time. They communicate about what is happening too.
Everyone is friendly and efficient. It's clean and communication could be better about my appointments because I haven't been told why I am here. The rearrange appointments too if needed.
It's my first appointment. It was easy to book and the staff are all okay. Everything is going well.
Referred from occupational health at Walsall and that have done tests and found something but have told me it's nothing to worry about. I waited a month for the appointment and the communication has been good. Sent it via email and on the NHS app. The staff are so kind and supportive. I will definitely give them 5 stars.
It has been very good. The staff have been very good. I had an x-ray and everything was explained clearly and we have understood everything.
Consultant is offering no personalised care. Only wants to focus on one symptom, advising surgery not in their specialty and isn’t interested in helping manage symptoms just blame on anything other than long Covid
The consultant explained to me about disease modifying medication and to run a breathing test on me. They explained well and the staff were fine.
The referral has taken 2 to 3 months. The clinic has been good so far. We didn't know we were being referred as he has no symptoms and is well otherwise.
I came three years ago and they've given me tablets which have made it better but it's not totally gone away. It's not TB but not sure what it is. They are very helpful. The staff have listened to me. So far so good.
Lovely. Everyone is really polite and friendly. They put my daughter at ease. Self referred and got an appointment within 10 days. Good information given on TB.
The TB clinic nurse came to my home and did some paperwork. They insisted I take my medication to ensure my baby didn't have TB also.
Been here a couple of times. It's an excellent service every time I come. Always greeted with a smile. Really nice. They always explain everything really well. Took a year to get an appointment here.
I was referred by my GP. I have come for an x-ray and bloods. All has been okay so far. The staff are welcoming and really take care of me.
Everything is good here. Appointments are arranged monthly and were seen on time. The staff are really good. Everything is explained well about the treatment and care. We were referred on from the GP and we waited a short time I guess.
Good. The appointment came quickly from when I was referred. The staff are all good.
A good service with no long waits. I've come to see the doctor. The GP referred us onto the clinic, we waited around 2 months for the appointment. The staff are very good and helpful there.
Took only a week to be referred. The staff have been lovely.
Really good. The staff are really nice and instantly welcoming with familiar faces. I really like it here.
Fine, everyone is fine. It's usually quick and efficient when I see the consultant they will give me an appointment and pre-book my next appointments. They come up on my NHS app. I've been coming here for years, they are very thorough. Keep me informed on my best treatments that I need too. It's easy to get to but the walk up the hill is a bit much.
Biggest complaint is it is at the top of a hill. For patients with lung conditions this can be a bit hard to get to as they get out of breath. Staff are lovely. Everyone is spot on.
Really good, no complaints. There was a little bit of a waiting list and you can be sent to another site such as Heartlands, but usually very good. The care is excellent.
Referred on from Russells Hall in December so I called them directly and asked if they had any cancellations. It wasn't too bad getting here. Good communication from them about waiting lists.
Good and helpful. Came here 9 years ago and they took screening for TB. They saw I was latent TB. Since then I have come and they check my lungs. I used to see the doctor every 3 months, then 6 months now it is every year. They investigated my lungs and cut a part of it to test.
I was referred on from the GP. I received a text for my appointment. It was cancelled but rescheduled on time. The staff have been okay. I was sent from Sandwell hospital after a general check. I didn't wait long for the initial appointment.
It's really good. The doctors and nurses are friendly and very helpful. My daughter when she first came here was only 4kg and she is now 6kg. They have really helped her. They send me letters and texts about my appointments.
Good. I have been for an x-ray and seen the staff. They have all been very good. It has been difficult to find the building. The doctor so far has been very good. Everybody is fine here. I was supposed to come last month but they rearranged it for this month instead.
It's been okay as the chest clinic is a very good place. The staff are very very polite. Good communication about appointments. If something changes they call you and explain. Receptionists are very involved and communicate well with patients and staff. I called them to tell them I was late and they said it was okay and that the doctor would wait. I can't fault the staff. the clinic could be in a better location
Very good. I have not waited long for my appointment. The staff are very good.
It took around a week for the appointment to be arranged. They sent a text and a letter. Communication has been good, quick and simple.
They have been brilliant. As soon as you get here they address you by your first name. They greet you. They take care of you. They're absolutely brilliant.
They called me yesterday for an appointment today. They sent me a text afterward as well. The staff have been friendly and I was greeted well.
I have been here 3 times. I have had quite a good experience. The staff are very good and behave very well. Sometimes I wait a little bit more but otherwise it is very good. One person I lived with had TB.
Most of the time the clinics are running late ands you have to wait for no less than an hour before you are seen.
They said they would give me respiratory medicine for my issues. Never been here until today. I have come today for a check up and medicine.
I was referred on from the GP and it's taken around a month from first health assessment. I was told to do a TB test and blood's. Third visit. My young person was referred on. Very helpful staff and good appointment reminders because your mind gets busy sometimes.
Foster son has come today as part of a check up. They sent a letter out quickly and staff have been good at letting us know about appointments and what is going on.
It's okay. I was referred on from my GP. It was a short waiting time but my sister's were more urgent and got an appointment within 1 week. Staff have been good. I received a letter about my appointments. Been here 3 times and all appointments have been on time. I am happy here.
It's okay. The staff and the information is all perfect. Was referred on from occupational therapy. No long wait for appointments. I had to have tests and everything has been explained to me.
Really good. The first time I came here they were really helpful. Did wait a little bit but they were really helpful. The follow up appointment came through quickly. I was referred on as an urgent referral from the GP within 2 weeks.
They were quick at giving me an appointment. Staff on reception have been good and welcoming. I see the same doctor here as the QE so they asked me to come here today for more tests.
Very good service. Been coming a long time. Very pleased with the doctors and the staff. Very good communication. You receive text message reminders, letters and send notifications on the NHS app. Everything is explained to us well. The community nurse explains everything very well. They have been brilliant, including out of hours. They'll answer our calls whenever we need them and they tell us what to do.
It's my first time here. Parking is an issue as there is nothing close by. Staff were fine at check in. They are going to sort out some treatment for my ocular TB.
Not my first time here. Been here 5 times. I come every month and they send letters and emails about appointments. You can wait along time to be seen for your appointment.
They are good really. They send appointments in good time. The staff are amazing, they're really nice. Very good at giving information in a way I understand.
Referred onto the chest clinic from GP. Not waited long. First time coming here. It's okay.
I had a scan there. They were really good. I had a nose bleed and it wouldn't stop. I called 999 and they told me to make my own way there. I waited a while but they saw and treated me.
I did a medical for employment and they referred me onto chest clinic. I wasn’t aware they are making an appointment for me. I just received an appointment in the post for today. They didn’t explain prior to appointment, but now I know.
Came here 2nd time, had appointment last time everything was good. Staff was very good. Came here today to collect the medication.
Getting here was a confusion as to which place to go to so ended up going to heartlands and they directed me back to hospital – chest clinic. Ended up being late for the appointment they have said they are going to fit us in.
Hard to find parking. The organisation is doing what it can. I’ve been given an appointment within days of receiving the results from an X-RAY due to them finding a dot on the scans. They have acted fast and I’ve been happy with the time it’s taken. They have communicated by text and said they would send emails but not heard anything yet.
I hope it’s the last time we have to come, they will let me know today. They sent a letter for me to bring baby. As neighbour had TB. I just want to give him an injection and not have to bring him anymore. Staff are good I just don’t want to keep bringing my son.
Good, long time to get appointment (1 and a half month). Sent the letter for appointment and text messages as well.
Booked a month ago, wish there was email or text to remind me or tell me about the appointment. The letter do not come directly to me.
Me and my partner both are under treatment at Chest clinic. Visited before doctors are helpful always calling and checking on us.
Treatment had been good.. Communication, reminders and emails all good. Staff nice can’t fault them.
They sent letters to hospital for my daughter. Good service.
I go for my long covid. I have to go for check ups an see the therapist, they're really good. They send me letters for my check ups. They are meant to be referring me onto another hospital but just waiting to hear from them, it's been a couple of months. I know you have to wait but I just want to be checked over.
I have been here before. They treat me very well and everything is great. They send letters before the time. It doesn’t go directly they send email.
Chest clinic - been coming for 12 months. Always good as gold, very pleasant and helpful. Usually straight in and straight out again. Receptionist and all staff are very welcoming. Doctor is great. Explains everything and feel well informed.
Can’t fault them the care in terms of support from outreach team and consultants themselves.
Had biopsy. It was cancelled 3 times, first time I waited 8-9 hours then it was cancelled. Fourth time, had the biopsy done. I ended up complaining about the cancellations to PALS and they were in touch within a couple of days of receiving the complaint which was good. I spoke to the consultant he apologised and had by biopsy done on the 4th appointment.
My daughter was sent here after having heart palpitations, they checked her out and monitored her for a few days. They kept a log of what was going on. She was then referred to the children's.
