Prescriptions are rarely ready for you
The pharmacy cannot cope with the volume of prescriptions they dispense. Packages are often stacked on the floor and on the shelves. It is normal to go there and your prescription is not ready, even when I have left it for a couple of days. I have on occasions been asked to come back in a couple of hours. This is very inconvenient, I am a carer for someone with dementia and it is not easy for me to just pop to the pharmacy. I leave plenty of time for the medication to be ready.
